Long skirts and pants are used to hide the self inflicted scars on her inner thighs as well.
Personality:
Kyr suffers from multiple mental disorders such as Dissociative Identity Disorder (Multiple Personality Disorder), trypophobia, claustrophobia and depression. The depression was brought on by the sudden death of her mother, and her distant father. She often tries to keep it all in, trying her best to be the perfect girl. Her father's family is very wealthy and privileged, and this has lead to the young girl to crack under pressure.
Kyr suffers the most with her depression, she constantly feels worthless and alone. Without the help of anti depressants she often feels a sense of dread and worry. Therapy and medication help her cope with this illness.
Dissociative Identity Disorder (Multiple Personality Disorder) is a serious form of dissociation and escae, a mental problem which produces a lack of connection in a person's thoughts, memories, feelings, actions, or sense of identity. This disorder often is stems from trauma experienced by the person from a young age or from a traumatic experience. The wolf and the lamb were created by Kyr as a coping mechanism. Kyr literally dissociates herself (be it willingly or unwillingly )from a situation or experience that's too violent, nerve wracking, traumatic, or painful to assimilate with her own conscious self.
-The lamb-
Sweet, gentle, and understanding, she tries her hardest to please her father by following all the rules and academic plans he has set in place for her by striving to be a perfectionist. The lamb is a bit shy around new people, and tends to be a bit naive. She is constantly reminded by her father, his coworkers and friends that she is to be expected to be perfect, almost as if she was a "royal figure".
-The wolf-
Emotionally cold and aloof, she has less regard for rules. The wolf is quick-tempered, and has a need to be in control. She also demands people around her to treat her with respect for who she is, not the social status of her father, she despises it, because she doesn't like to be seen as a "royal figure".
Fighting Style:
Kyr seems to strive for grace and poise with every movement, especially during fights. Her movements are "dance like" . Kyr's "street fighting" style is a mixture of moves from classical dance and ballet. Such as many dance like and gymnastic maneuvers - graceful spins, tumbles, and pirouettes, and versatile cartwheels and handstands. This fighting style was self-learned and self-developed by Kyr herself.
Strengths:
- Kyr is very light and quick on her feet. She's very agile and can get out of a tight situation very quickly.
- Good at art, often can be found hidden away drawing or painting.
- Eager to please adults, when she sets out to do something she puts her all into it. Examples: Getting good grades, to trying to please someone in hopes of gaining their affection and attention.
Weaknesses:
- Due to the fact that she uses her hands a lot doing various activities such as writing, painting, playing the violin her wrists are weak and often ache
- Has a problem with authority, doesn't like being told what to do.
- Has anger issues, sometimes resulting in acts of violence.
History:
Kyr's father's bloodline can be traced back to France, as early as the 1740's. On her father's side she is related to Marquis de Sade. This gentlemen was a French aristocrat, revolutionary politician, philosopher, and writer, and most famous for his novels and poetry. He was often jailed for torturing men and women, prostitutes and young boys. He died in a mental asylum, passed away peacefully in his sleep.
On her mother's side she is related to Chevalier d'Éon, who was a French diplomat, spy, and soldier who fought in the Seven Years' War. D'Éon had feminine characteristics and natural abilities as a mimic, good features for a spy. D'Éon appeared publicly as a man and pursued masculine occupations for 49 years, although during that time d'Éon successfully infiltrated the court of Empress Elizabeth of Russia by presenting as a woman. For about 33 years d'Éon dressed as a woman, claiming to have been female at birth. Doctors who examined d'Éon's body after d'Éon's death discovered that d'Éon was in fact a man.
This being said it's not very surprising that the young female has a few screws loose.
She was a very troubled child, her parents were often busy carrying on with business or hosting cocktail parties to tend to the needs of their child. Kyr did not bond with her parents as most children do, instead she was forced to cling to and seek attention from the various sitters and instructors in her life. Her father was often away on business and showering his mistress with gifts, while this was no surprise to his wife who slowly became an alcoholic and would shut herself away in her room.
Kyr grew up to be a very shy teenager, as she grew up in the presence of adults and hardly had chances to hang out and develop social skills with children her own age. With no friends, and the lack of attention from her parents she often would act out in class and her various lessons. Her one friend was her violin instructor, an older gentlemen who treated her with kindness and showered her with gifts and attention. She grew to depend on this man, and would push herself to get better at the violin to gain his attention as her parents were busy focusing on other matters.
Her mother grew very ill, she was weak and bed ridden. Kyr and her mother desperately needed the attention and affection of her father, who was hardly home, tending to business as usual. Her father provided the best medical attention for her mother, making sure the woman was taken care of and comfortable while he was away with his mistress. Kyr was forced to stand at her mother's side through the majority of her illness and till she suddenly passed away in the middle of the night.
This broke the young girl, she shut down and could not function. She stopped eating, and would go without sleep for days at a time before she would crash and sleep for a few hours before starting the cycle over again. She tried to commit suicide various times, and every attempt would fail. Her father tried to keep the mental break down of hid daughter a secret, this meant she often did not get the medical attention she needed. It was one night after another failed suicide attempt that she was rushed to the hospital and her father was forced to put her in the hands of a mental ward.
Not once did her father visit, or respond to any of her letters. It was her violin instructor who came to her aid, visiting with her, reading to her and still continuing her violin lessons while she spent her time in the mental ward. But this soon came to an end as her father felt their relationship was highly inappropriate, as he heard a few of the nurses explain their concern as to why his young daughter was seen hugging, clinging and kissing the cheek of the violin instructor.
She was forced to work with the many therapists and nurses, so she could become well again and eventually she did. She was sick of being alone, sick of depending on others to come to her aid. Once returning home, her father would keep her at home, as he had no intention of allowing her to latch onto any other adult for attention. It was when she returned home from the mental hospital that she had found her father had moved in his mistress and was allowing the vile woman to redecorate the house to her liking. Kyr would suddenly break, and the wolf was born. It was the wolf who attacked her father's mistress with a knife, violently stabbing her. She managed to get a few good thrusts into the woman's thigh and shoulder before her father was able to grab her and hold her back, it was then Kyr would turn and begin to attack her own father. Her father hadn't wanted to send her to any sort of public school, but after his mistress reported the stabbing his hand was forced by the law, and he soon was forced to send her to 552.
