The Cutest ABG You'll Ever Meet
Personality:
She's either going to be the best person you ever meet or the worst! Bubbly, sassy, and extroverted, it's not hard to see why people gravitate towards her regardless of how closed off they might be. She loves making friends and finds it a challenge to do so with quieter, lonely folk. Those she befriends will find themselves being hit up for study sessions, hangouts, and of course, parties. For being only sixteen years old, she has gone to her fair share of raves without much consequence save for a few regrettable lays. She doesn't see any shame in her lifestyle nor her incessant cajoling towards those she's close to. It can get...tiring. Those who brush her off are met with continued kindness but it's plain to anyone close to her that she will cut them out of her life.
She supposes that part of this comes from her past abandonment issues, but she would never admit that to anyone. Instead, she worms her way into people's hearts without investing too much of her emotional energy into cultivating a deeper friendship (or romance for that matter). In her mind, it's perfectly fine to have people rely on her, but for her to rely on them would require far too much vulnerability. Nas would be losing the upper hand, and she can't have that. She would much rather end a relationship with a blow out than a quiet departure.
This volatile nature grants her license to be cheeky and uncaring towards anything outside of her sphere of influence, but has also paints her as a vapid, dramatic bitch. Granted, only one of these things is true. She excuses her anger as being "in touch" with her emotions but doesn't bother to manage them unless she sees an emotional or physical benefit. In her mind it's much better to stick by your principles than confront her self-destructive tendencies. Plus, there are always more friends to be made and more emotions to drown out.

History: Natasha boasts that she grew up in Oakland and often laments that she "just wants to do hood shit with her hood friends" but truthfully she only spent about eight years of her life in the city before moving to the cushy suburbs of Saratoga. She grew up with the best toys that money could buy and once she was older, the best extracurricular money could buy. She explored a litany of interests from violin to painting to even actual polo but eventually settled on ballet (which she had been taking since she was in preschool) and rhythm gymnastics. Between sports and private school, she had little time for friends and those that she did befriend eventually tired of her clingy tendencies.
Outside of her family she had no one, at least until middle school.
Bathory Smith saved her life as much as she destroyed it. Well okay that was a tad dramatic. More specifically, Bathory introduced Natasha to what would become her rave crew. They were the classic Breakfast Club team: Brian the brain, Johanna the athlete, Liam the basket case and Bathory the criminal. Now that Natasha (dubbed "Nessie" by the group) was here they had a princess. The five were nigh inseparable. They always found time to hang out and if anyone of them was ever in trouble, the others would have their back. It was straight out of a movie, complete with group incest and monthly drama.
If it wasn't Johanna and Brian's on and off relationship it was Liam's jealousy of one of Brian or Johanna or both. After their whole stint with "polygamy" it was unclear what the hell they were doing. Sometimes it was Brian and Nas's increasingly heated debates, but no matter what Bathory somehow managed to play peacemaker while Nessie played armchair therapist, whoever they were. For being a criminal she was surprisingly good at returning the group to its natural order.
When the clique hit high school, tensions were at an all time high: Brian broke up with Johanna for Liam and based on chat logs, he might have cheated as well. Were it not for Bathory getting between the three (and Nas's own attempts to console Johanna), the group would have fractured entirely; however, it brought up an interesting questions. What
was in those logs and how did everyone find out about them? The assumption had been that Liam came clean to Johanna or that she'd snooped through Brian's phone; however, that wasn't the case.
Truthfully, Brian had reached out to Nas for advice on how to approach Johanna given that he felt guilty about the whole affair. He didn't want to break Johanna's heart and he certainly didn't want this to be his coming out story. Nas herself asked Bathory how to approach the situation, only for Bathory to drop out of context screenshots of Nas's words into the group chat. Suddenly Natasha was a snake, a monster,
Nessie if someone wanted to mock her. Despite her attempts at explaining herself, the group agreed to exile her for stirring up drama and for once Bathory didn't have her back.
It was perhaps three months before Bathory reached out with an olive branch but by that point Nas's grieving had turned into resentment. Bathory hadn't apologized for Nas's feelings, but she'd said nothing about the fallout nor her role in the entire debacle. Nas only realized after she left that Bathory wasn't the peacemaker,
she was the ringleader. The girl had taken everything Nas ever told her in confidence and threw it back at her face without an ounce of remorse. To Bathory, she was simply a reservoir for information.
Nas took that branch with a fake smile, only to slap her former friend moments after. A fight between the two broke out complete with torn earrings, hair pulling, and tears. It didn't take long for the principal to break the two up; however, the damage had already been done and given that Nas swung first, she was expelled while Bathory was given a slap on the wrist.
With each school, Nas became increasingly aggressive and the hush money that her parents shelled out became far too expensive to maintain her reputation. Like all her relationships, the resentment ended with her parents transferring her to PHS #552. She'd brought too much shame to her family and nothing could fix the scars she'd left in the Liu household.
