A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

School was out, and the students would pour from the classes and head to the buses or wherever the hell it was they needed to go. Mikey would be behind the gym, sitting on a power box up against the outer wall. He was listening to more Memphis May fire, and throwing a rock into the air and catching it over and over. He was going to stick around for maybe a half hour to see if Levi Kamehameha would show.

Levi walked around the gym building, messenger bag slung over his shoulder and his nerves rising slightly as his anticipation rose. He had an uneasy feeling about Mikey's group. He had overheard the name "the core" and assumed it was the name of their group, wich seemed comprised of incredibly strong people. This served to fuel Levi's uneasiness as he swallowed hard, rounding the final corner, spotting the redhead on the power box and giving a simple wave, a casual smile on his face hiding any nerves he had.

At the "yo" Mikey turned his head, mouth hanging open. He smiled shortly after, before the rock he threw landed on his forehead. A hand shot up to rub the spot and he hopped off the powerbox, approaching Levi.
"I was beginning to think you weren't going to show." An arm was extended for a handshake. "So, I'll cut to the chase. You affiliated with anyone here, Levi?"

Levi raised an eyebrow; was this a recruitment offer? Only time would tell and there was only one way to find out for sure. Levi thought for a moment. He had yet to officially join the Lightning Gang, but he had no real intention of backing out at this point so he would be honest.
"I've been given an offer to join the Lightning Gang, but no, technically I'm not associated with anyone just yet. I was planning on accepting though...why do you ask?"

Lightning Gang? Mikey cocked a brow. He'd never heard of them. But the red-haired boy just shrugged, flicking something off his finger to look nonchalant.
"I'm part of a... a group. Our numbers are unknown to most and we, ourselves, are not quite popular yet. A guy like you, I figure, could help to rectify that - even if you were part of this, uh, what was it, Lightning Gang?" He laughed a little at the name. "Basically I'd be asking you to spread word of us around the school a little bit. That's all."
Now to see how he responded.

Oh poor, naive Levi. His feelings of uneasiness turned to curiosity and relief. IF this was simply advertisement, it wouldn't be a problem and he wouldn't have to even think about going back on his word to Leon. Still, Levi didn't like to agree to something without knowing as much as he could. He placed his hands in his pockets as he spoke.
"What exactly did you have in mind?"

"Well, it's simple," the boy began to rock back and forth on his heels. "Get a couple guys together, wear our logo, get some masks, I don't give a fuck, and, basically, start shit."
This was something Austin was already being tasked with, but more manpower never hurt, especially in endeavors like this. The less work Mikey had to do himself, the better. Getting his hands dirty was never his style, and, if worst came to worst, he could just apply some pressure to get this "Lightning Gang" to follow the same path as Apex.

Levi smile faded; This did not sound promising. Causing trouble was not Levi's style and from the sounds of it, that's exactly what this man wanted, still, more clarification was in order before outright refusing such a dangerous man's offer.
"Start shit? As in start a fight? Destroy something?" Levi shook his head, "That doesn't sound like something I want to be a part of." Levi's brow cocked as another thought occurred to him, "and why would you need my help to do that? I've seen your strength, you would have no issues causing trouble and getting away with it if you wanted to."
Levi was not angry at all, just genuinely curious as to why they would need people like him doing this sort of thing, though admittedly, he was a little offended that Mikey would ask this of him. He tone would never reveal this, however.

Levi's smile may have faded, but Mikey's never did. Just because he didn't like to twist peoples' arms didn't mean he never would. The way Levi was sounding, Mikey was probably gonna have to start doing it, but he wasn't going to twist this guy's specifically.
"You're not a strong guy and you know it. You're very aware of your limits," despite that possibly being worded like an insult, the tone implied it was a compliment. "I can't say I know many people like that. I figured starting fights and whatnot wasn't your scene, but I can offer a bit of incentive." He used that word a little loosely. "Austin, his guy's are basically working with ours. Came to him with the same thing we're coming to you for, he didn't want an part of it, sort of forced our hand. You seem like a decent dude, I don't want to do that with you. But, you see, this is less of a "choice" than I made it out to be at first."
As threatening as his words seemed to be, Mikey almost made them seem kind. That was just the way he talked, with no real emphasis on anything so it didn't seem like he was very serious at all. But, he was.

Levi felt a chill go through his body as he realized what Mikey likely meant by this. His painful awareness of his limitation would likely ensure that he survived this encounter if things went south. The man's demeanor was disarming, but Levi had already seen this man's "not so friendly" side and didn't plan on seeing it again if he could help it. Was Levi feeling fear? Not exactly, at least not yet. His brow furrowed, as he decided to switch tactics to keep his head in the game. He smirked bravely, staring into Mikey's eyes.
"heh, you really don't mess around...what's in this for me then?"
He wasn't agreeing just yet, but this man had the power to make his life incredibly difficult, something that a little ruckus causing might be worth doing to avoid. Plus, if he could get something out of it, why not do it and try to get out unscathed?

Levi's stare would be met by Mikey's own, and it was cold. His eyes seemed to harbor a mysterious feeling to them, particularly with their strange yellow hue. Taking a different stance from outright refusal, however, likely spared Levi a beating he would feel for the next couple of months.
"Messing around is a waste of time, am I right?" The boy chuckled, narrowing his gaze. "I train you, help you get stronger. And, you do this for us, you get our protection - my protection. Simple as that. You don't seem like a guy who wants or needs power, but strength, that's different."

Levi's smile remained, but this time it was easier. Either his tactic had worked and he had gotten something out of it like he wanted, or this had been the plan all along. Either way, now the offer was actually tempting. A group like Mikey's and, in particular, he himself had the strength that Levi sought. Levi often contemplated where the line for him was when it came to seeking strength. He would struggle with his decision as he stared back into Mikey's now cold eyes, understanding the man a little better with each moment that this went on.
I hope this is worth it....certainly worth my life right?
That was what was really on the line here. Mikey could easily murder him back here if he wanted to. Levi had no choice, at least not right now and it seemed like at the least he would be getting more than just his life out of it. Hiding his disapproval, Levi nodded slowly in agreement, his voice stern and just a little solemn.
"Agreed. If you hold up your end, I will do my part."
Levi knew he had no real leverage, but he hoped Mikey was more interested in gaining his help than intimidating him or just too lazy to smack his ass down.

Mikey's gaze softened upon Levi's agreement. A deal was a deal, and Mikey would keep his word, always. Plus, it was a relief to the boy, as he didn't need to put in any real effort to the little exchange. A soft, but strong, hand would be placed on Levi's left shoulder.
"You made the right choice. I'll inform you when it's time to make any moves, but if you decide to do something without our suggestion, it couldn't hurt. Do as we ask, you'll get nothing but support from us." That grip on Levi's shoulder would then tighten, as if Mikey was threatening to shatter the bone then and there. "But if you cross us, you won't have the chance to regret it. Are we clear?"

Levi would force himself to endure the pressure of Mikey's intimidation. It was one thing for someone to say they would never allow themselves to be intimidated, but it was often another story when they were put in a situation like this. Levi had signed his life over to the "core", at least for now.
Fuck me...
Levi's gaze hardened as his nerves tried to get him to do something he would regret, but his resolve would not allow them control.
"Crystal...question: when does my training begin? I'm going to need to be stronger if you want me to succeed."
He was actually telling the truth and Mikey likely knew it. With some of the stronger students let alone the teachers in the school, Levi would need a serious increase in strength to compete with them and accomplish anything without being stopped.

Mikey's grip loosened and the boy seemed convinced that Levi understood there would be consequences for betrayal. He put himself in the situation, of course, and betrayal wasn't going to be tolerated. That was just how it worked.
"Your training starts after I have a chat with the folks in this "Lightning Gang," of course," he began simply. Competition was a no-no. "You've already been thrown around quite a bit today, so to continue to exert yourself would lead to more harm than good. Instead, rest, recuperate, and I'll find you when you're ready to begin."
He wasn't about to teach this kid any of his repertoire before he had a meeting with the gang he was intent on joining, simply because that would eliminate his chance for surprise. If they had a chance to fight back, this Lightning Gang could end up proving to be a nuisance.
