Tsubame sat inside the cafeteria poking at the lunch she had purchased, some chicken and green beans. Stabbing a a piece of chicken she moved it to her mouth and chewed sighing. Looking over at the windows she watch the water run down them as the rain smashed into the roof. The roof, how she wished she could be up there right now, it would make even this...food taste great.
Stabbing another bite she lifted it to her lips before shaking her head and pushing the tray away. She had eaten enough to not be too hungry. The few bites she had taken would tide her over until she could get some food from the commissary back at the police station, or if she decided not to go there she was sure there was still some pizza left in her fridge back at home. Leaning back she looked around "so noisy...almost think getting wet will be worth it to be on the roof"

Shiro would slide into the cafeteria with a fresh cut on his face and a coat soaked from the rain. He would scan the room looking at the food which he found unappealing and the average people he couldn't care less for. As he walked towards his normal seat by the window Shiro would see Tsubame looking at the roof and catch her saying
"so noisy...almost think getting wet will be worth it to be on the roof"
He would slide into her vision and say
"Whats wrong you looked like a bird trapped in a cage. Need a change of scenario?"
He would say with a smile.

Tsubame was lost in thought and started slightly as she heard Shiro's voice. "Ah..Shiro right...yeah I suppose I am a little stir crazy rgiht now, I normally like to eat my lunch on the roof, in the fresh air. I'm not used to being...stuck inside like this" She motioned towards the tray of food she had pushed away. "Hungry? You are welcome to it, I..I don;t know I can;t face it right now"
Putting her head down on the table she sighed "Did you think that high school would be like this when you were younger? I always thought that they would have pizza for lunch, but considering it's this school I'm not surprised by the sub par food"

Shiro would smile at her request but politely turn her down.
"Thank you I appreciate it but I'm alright"
He would look up at the ceiling and pondered for a moment, then turn around facing Tsubame again he would say
"I don't think I'm the right person to ask that question. Unfortunately my life was chosen for me up till I was 11. I'm not what you would call your typical student. Nor is this your typical school. I learned survival techniques and began working at the age of 9. But to answer your question. I never knew how school would be. But I didn't expect it to be this... Interesting. I guess you could call it that. Why what did you expect?"
Shiro would ask looking back down at her.

Tsubame smiled back lifting her head back up "I had hoped that it would be peaceful...you know I went to a different school before this and it was just as bad if not worse than this one. Still there was some level of order..well until the roof blew up." She seemed to laugh ironically a bit before sighing. "In any case to answer your question no this not what I excepted high school to be" She had of course left out a few details but she did not lie to him.

Shiro's smile would grow a little more but then quickly fade as he began to speak.
"I can tell you first hand this world is the furthest thing from peace. Humans aren't capable of reaching that kinda of Idealistic point. Not in this lifetime anyways. Maybe you can change the world? Because there are some who chose to walk the path of peace, but I on the other hand..."
Shiro would trail off for a moment and then speak again.
"I live in a world where death is the only key to a peaceful existence. There a somethings that peace and love or Words and speaking can't fix or prevent."
He would smile a little again.
"So you blew up the roof I'm guessing huh?"

Tsubame nodded at his words "Yes yes you are right, only someone naive and childish could believe that only words and good intentions were enough to keep things peaceful. Violence, and sometimes yes even death are necessary to get the job done, but tell me, that is not ideal is it? Needed or otherwise it should never be the ideal solution..." she sighed as her stomach growled and she poked back at the chicken. "ungh..."
She would be taken aback at his statement about her blowing up the roof "What? No..no I had nothing to do with that, in fact I was off getting my GED on that..." she trailed off as she said those words before shaking her head "well I had nothing to do witht he roof being blown up, that is for sure"

"When it comes to death I have no opinion. I've become numb to it. After seeing so much death becomes as simple as stepping on an ant. But the real question is, does the situation call for the death? would you be better off with them dead or alive in the long run? Its all a judge of character as well.
Shiro would begin to laugh at her growling stomach and then at her comments.
"I... Don't.. Believe you cutie... just kidding. You didn't have anything to do with it. right?"
He would say poking fun at her.
"Hey lets get out of here, school will still be here later. Lets get some real food. I can't stomach that nonsense either"

"He..hey I said I didn't have anything to do with it and I mean it" Tsubame leaned back far enough so that she was looking behind her. She still did not know who had blown up the roof but it had allowed her some, unique opportunities. Even still she had to get through the school year before they could be put into place.
At the chance to get out of here and get some real food Tsuabme perked up. "If you are quite serious I am all for ditching the school in favor of getting some food..where did you have in mind?"

"We can go where ever you like. I know a good restaurant if you want to eat out. I have my own personally cooking staff with over 20 people if you want to be comfortable and relax, or if you have a place in mind?"
Shiro would say with a smile. He would then grab her hand and begin to run off for the exit.
"Tell me on the way to where every we're going I CAN'T STAND IT ANY LONGER"
Shiro would say laughing and keeping a giant smile.

Tsubame was thinking about where she wanted to eat as she walked. The idea of a home cooked meal from a wealthy family. She had not had a home cooked meal in some time, normally eating commissary food or food from her microwave. Before she could say anything though her hand was grabbed and she was pulled
"Let's go to your home then, a home cooked meal sounds wonderful right about now" She looked at Shrio's laughing face and could not help but laugh as well.

Shiro was happy things were going well with Tsubame. Things and been all work and no play for Shiro for a while now and he was starting to lose it. They would rush off to his car parked near the school. It wasn't as flashy as last time but still pretty high end nonetheless. A silver Mercedes Benz would be parked in a safe spot under a bridge to keep it from getting wet.
As they entered the car pretty wet shiro would say "I have built in seat warmers, the chairs vibrate and massage. You can take control of the radio too" Genuine happiness was written all over his face. in fact he was almost as giddy as a school kid his first day of school.
