[OoC: Closed to those who signed up for the Int-Based Qi Test. The test will be treated as a minor event and rewards will be given based on participation. The longest time between rounds will be 48 hours, regardless of whether or not everyone has posted, to keep things moving.
All characters have Int boosted to 30.]
Juelz wakes up in a room similar to the one he was with Levi in when he was last kidnapped. It's a slightly smaller room, being six feet wide, seven long, and eight high. The bed he was on would be on the far northern side of the room, and sunlight would hit his face from a small window that was covered partially by an iron grate. On the south side of the room was a large iron door, with side table to its left. On this table was a key, and a small note which read KORKU, written in blood. The only difference this time was that Levi was nowhere to be found. He was, once again, covered in scars, in white, tight-fitting clothes he would not recognize, and none of his belongings, and no shoes.
Varus comes to in a large chamber, the exact dimensions of which would be hard to determine. This was due to the fact that the only light source came from directly above, and it was a small beam that only permitted him to see roughly three feet in all directions. He wold be able to make out an iron door roughly twenty feet ahead, simply due to the fact that light would occasionally shine through a small window on its upper-center. He was covered in scars, wearing dirtied rags he did not own, and had none of his belongings, and no shoes.
Macht would wake up in pain, dangling several yards from the ceiling, and maybe ten feet above the ground, by shackles on his feet. The room was an empty, well-lit twenty-foot cube, with him hanging directly in the center of it. On the northern end of the room, there was a large iron door, with a key directly in front of it. Macht was covered in scars he would not recognize, wearing rags that were much too big, with none of his belongings, and no shoes.
Rhett was in a large, white chamber, shackled into an upright bed by his biceps, wrists, thighs, calves, and forehead. He was facing a mirror, where he would see himself in nothing but baggy, dirtied pants. His torso was visibly scarred with wounds he would not recognize. Due to the mirror, he could see that there were two other people in the room with him, both of which were wearing lab coats and masks.
Valo awoke in a dark, musky chamber, chain shackles on his wrists preventing him from moving more than seven feet away from the wall. He was in a ten-foot cubic cage, and could see no more than five feet in front of himself due to a lack of light. He was wearing only baggy rags, with no shoes, and none of his belongings.
Raina would come to in a small chamber submerged in water. The chamber was about six feet long, four feet wide, and five feet high, made entirely of glass. As much as Raina could tell, she was maybe four yards, give or take, underwater. She could see light on the surface, for now she had the problem of the chamber to deal with.
Vivi would wake up in a small cage, a six-foot cube all around. She wasn't shackled, though she was in immense pain, with wounds all over her body. She would feel as though some of them even threatened to reopen depending on how she moved. If she looked, it would be easy to notice a small table in the corner of the room with a key on it, though that would be all the light would show her for now.
Lexington, shackled to a platform, would come to with a blinding light in his face. He was on the floor, limbs outstretched and held down by shackles on his wrists and ankles. This platform was surrounded by water, and the moment Lex began to move, he would set off a sensor that would cause it to lower. Lex would begin to be submerged in water, and the platform would drop maybe twenty feet under, depending on how long it would take the man to get off of it, if at all.

"... the... fuck..?"
Macht came to, groggy. His eye took some time to adjust, but from the rush he felt in his head and his hanging arms, he could tell he was upside down. That wasn't a mystery - what was a mystery was why he was upside down. The German quickly snapped into focus, and realized that no matter how many questions he had, his first priority needed to be getting out of here in one piece.
"Alright... think... think..."
Bending upward at the waist and knees, Macht's hands would clasp at the shackles and he would try to rip them off of his ankles. If he could not, he would climb all the way up to the roof, plant his feet on it, and pull, ripping the chain from its foundation. Sure, he would fall to the floor and it would hurt, but it was better than staying there for whatever would come next.

Slowly coming to, Lexington wakes up to a blinding light. "Where am I now.." Dazed and confused, the teen blinks numerous times until he finally clears up his vision. Brown eyes dart left and right.. "I'm shackled and surrounded by water.. Man this feels like some weird bondage deja vu.." Lexington already ruled out screaming for help, because obviously someone had put him into this situation and he couldn't remember if he was drugged or if he had even volunteered for this stunt. "First, lets check mobility" Lexington moved each limb as best as he could. "Fingers check, arms check, legs and toes, check check"
Immediately after running a maintenance check on his own body Lexington could hear something possibly grinding or clicking into position. "That doesn't sound good at all.. what did I do now??" His whole body is given a small shake as he begins to descend "Not good, not good. I'm starting to sink!!" Lexington checked his shackles to see if there was any rust or corrosion. Any small break would help even a little. "I need to break these shackles and fast!!" Lexington tried to remain calm, but with no one else to aid him things were looking very grim. "ahhhh c'mon c'mon c'mon!! Gotta.. get.. OUT!!" Lexington closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He didn't know how much time was left so he tried to work to the best of his ability. He exhaled then tightened his pectoral and bicep muscles, immediately he tried his best to tighten his shoulder muscles. Lex tried to imitate a pectoral fly motion and pry at least one of the two arm shackles off. "AHHHHH COME ON!!!"

Did someone give him bad weed (he certainly felt brain-fucked)? That was quite possibly the only explanation for why Varus had no shirt, no shoes, and no cellphone with which to look for service. Instead he was wearing dirty rags (which luckily, were just nature dirt and not...bodily dirt) with nothing to show but a litany of cuts and scars. Touching them, all of them scabbed over and his lack of bruises meant that he couldn't have gotten in a serious fight. If anything, it looked like he slept in a rose bush.
The only thing he could go off of was his location. Weak light shone from the ceiling, allowing him to see nothing but empty space all around him and the occasional beam from a window showed him a door twenty feet away. He was surprised that no one bothered to help him, but then again his current situation could be entirely his fault. Varus didn't usually party but if he did, the most he would do is smoke a joint or two. He liked having some idea of where he would be at the end of the night So what the hell happened?
He approached the metal door, groping for some sort of handle but it was locked. THe cold iron made him shiver as he struggled to turn it. Not only did he have nothing to pick the lock with, but the damn handle wouldn't budge in the first place (seriously was that thing just for show?). His only other option was to break the window because as small as it was, he could at least try to squeeze through. Taking a few paces back, he ran toward the door and jumped first onto the handle before using it as a springboard to reach the window.
Naturally he failed and he would keep failing for the next twenty or so attempts. Why?
Because hitting things in the dark was hard.
So I have to be tall in order to reach the window and short to pass through and have night vision for seven minutes, he thought bitterly. It didn't exactly help that his strength was merely average compared to some of the hulking masses that passed through PHS #552.
He could reach the window just fine, but the problem was that the light only swung by every eight minutes and for about thirty seconds at that which meant Varus's chances to hit that thing were few and far between unless he wanted to shoot in the dark. Timing, strength, and a little luck...all things he lacked. At the very least, he knew that the window was big enough to big enough to stick his head through.
So he paced for exactly seven minutes and fifty-seven seconds (because seven was a lucky number) before dashing toward the door and leaping once more. This time he had he saw the light in its full form and this time he landed his punch. With his shirt wrapped around his right hand he heard the glass shatter...
...except that the shatter was less of a crack and more of a crink. Really, as Varus fell he realized something very, very important about the glass he waged war with.
It's tempered.

When Vivi awoke, she immediately wished she hadn’t. The girl opened her eyes, and upon attempting to sit up, pain washed through her body. She was covered in wounds, and it occurred to her if she made any jerky movements she might reopen them. Panic began to set in, but she closed her eyes and clenched her jaw, mentally reciting a song Kaya used to sing to her. Panicking wasn’t going to help her, she needed to think.
Opening her eyes again, she spotted a key on the table a few yards away. There was no way she’d be able to reach it. Slowly standing up, Vivi searched to see if any of the bars on the cage were looser than the others, or if the cage had any weak points. Regardless of whether or not she found any, Vivi began kicking out and yanking at the bars near the base. Though she was trying to stay calm, the situation had adrenaline pumping through her veins, and now she just wanted to smash something.

"Hmmm..."
The dazed teenager rose from bed slowly—sunlight practically blinding him through closed eyelids. He shook his head a few times to rid himself of the dazed feeling before examining the room from the bed he laid upon. "Wow..." His face morphed with the utmost amount of disappointment as he recalled being in this very room once upon a time. Juelz cautiously threw his legs over the side of the bed and stood. He jumped a few times in place to make sure his body was responsive despite the mild pulses of pain throbbing through him.
"Good enough,"
He kept himself out of the sun rays from the barred window as he strolled over to the lone table in the very small and cramped room. A note and a key, he gave the note mind first. "Tch," he scowled before crumpling said note into a tight paper ball and stylishly tossing it through one of the gaps within the iron barred window. "Fuck off," Juelz mumbled to himself as he scooped up the key in one clean motion. With the key in his possession, he eyed the ominous door and made his way over to it with even more cautious steps.
Once reached, he placed his ear to the metal frame of said door and listened intently to the environment behind it. If no footsteps, bloodcurdling screams, or anything else "fuck this shit" worthy, Juelz would slowly open the door by twisting/pulling the knob.

Raina was pushed into a room filled with water. She floated around in the water looking around for a way out. Her hair floated in the water around her. She noticed there was alot of water in the chamber but there was a ray of light coming from the top of the chamber. She knew she would never reach the top of the water before she ran out of breathe. She did her best to swim up as fast as she could. She looked around the chamber as she swam. "This whole chamber is glass, how do I get out?" She thought to herself. "I can't die here. Too many people need me. I refuse this fate! I will alter this destiny!" She thought as she focused her eyes. She swam to the sides of the chamber and tried her best to place her feet against the glass to make give herself a little push and propel herself through the water.
"I.. I don't have time to fuck around!" She thought to herself as she pushed herself off the wall to no avail. She continued to swim towards the light. Honestly if this wasn't scary as hell, she would be quite comfortable. Raina was always an excellent swimmer. Not a pool she couldn't master. She looked up towards the light and focused on reaching it.

Post by Adrian "Valo" Morei on Mar 22, 2015 2:41:35 GMT -5
Another strange place... another strange time. The darkness is starting to feel a bit like home. Valo woke up in a daze, his head aching and his body feeling heavy. Allowing his eyes to adjust to the darkness, he would see he was in nothing but rags, and his arms were shackled. It was an all too familiar situation, and not one he ever wanted to be in again. Instantly, the atmosphere just gave him an eerie feeling, and he wanted nothing more than to get out of here as soon as he could. "... I'm tired of getting kidnapped..." He grit his teeth as he stood up, feeling a bit woozy from having just woke up. The first thing he did was look around, but it was far too dark to see anything. He would walk around as far as the chains would allow, trying to see if there was anything he could take note of, or if he shared this cage with someone- or something- else. Reaching the furthest the chains could stretch, he had counted each step, noting he was seven feet away from his point of origin. Why is my mind so clear right now... I feel exhilarated, all things considered.Examining the chains, he wondered how easy they would be to break, and he would pull his arms back real quick before sending them forward, attempting to tear the shackles from the chains, or the chains from the cage. If this didn't work, he would go back to the chains and tug on them as hard as he could to free himself from the cage so he had free reign to roam around. After this, he would wander off to see what else was in the room, circling around the boundaries of his cage. I'll get out of this one, just like every other time... I hope. I just hope Kenji's okay.

[OoC: For future reference, do not add details to your environment that I do not give you, and make zero assumptions about anything, from doors, to lights, to time frames.]
Macht successfully ripped the chain from the roof! However, the drop would be a painful one. He was injured, but free now to get to the door.
Lexington, at first, would be unable to break the shackles off. They were too tight and strong. However, he would feel his body begin to harden, and they would slowly begin to rip off. He would be roughly a yard underwater by the time the shackles would be ripped apart and he was free, allowing him to swim to the surface while the platform sunk to the bottom. Only, he now felt heavier.
Now having time to observe the room around him, Lexington would find it was an empty circular chamber, with a single iron door.
Varus would find none of his attempts on the door or the window working. The light ceased, and this time it was not returning. After a couple of minutes, he would hear the sound of heavy stomping, and a key being placed into the door from the outside. Once it was opened, a large, brutish figure in a cloak would enter the room, searching for the smaller man.
Vivi would find that, while no bars were more loose than any others, some were much more rusted and weak. Her kicking and yanking would eventually yield success, but it would create an opening so small she would need to squeeze through, and she was quite likely to end up getting cut up in the process. Small price to pay for freedom.
Juelz would hear nothing outside of his door! It was unlocked, meaning he could step outside freely. He would find that he was, once again, in the same hallway as before. Once he was in that hallway, he would see the same two doors - one leading to an elevator - but with a large, brutish man in a white cloak in front of both.
Raina would find herself running out of oxygen in her panic! She managed to reach the source of light, but there was a glass pane preventing her from exiting the chamber. At the top, there was maybe half an inch where she could attempt to draw more breath. In her heightened emotional state, she would almost feel that the water was much easier to move around in than any pool she'd ever been in before.
Valo felt a sort of surge in strength, ripping his chains from the wall! The shackles were still around his wrists, however, and he was still trapped in the cage.

(OOC: Didn't realize this was up... If I'm too late just delete my post.)
Rhett would inspect his wounds as best he could in the mirror in front of him, trying to discern which may have been done to him based on what he saw. He knew quite a bit about medical practices from researching on his spare time, but this could have been something far different. All he knew was that there was no getting out, and there may be more to come.
"Some answers..." He'd grunt at the pain before continuing. "...would be nice..." Rhett didn't have much strength, his body not being able to take all that much pain, no matter how much he may have enjoyed it. The lab coats had him on edge, but all he could do was hope they'd explain what the hell was going on.

Vivi’s efforts eventually bore fruit, when he kicking created a small opening near the bottom of the cage. The downside was it was really freaking small… this was gonna hurt. Vivi got down on her stomach and crawled, squeezing herself through the opening. The metal cut into her skin, and she bit her lip to keep from making any noise. After escaping the cage, Vivi caught her breath and stood up, surveying the room in hopes of spotting a way out.

Struggling and panicking are two things that shouldn't be together and that's what had struck Lexington as he continued to struggle to get out of the shackles that restricted him. "One last pull. I need to give it one strong pull before I pray like hell." The teen closed his eyes and gave it a vigorous tug with his right arm. It didn't work and the water was getting close. Lexington looked over to his right arm again, but he didn't notice that his skin was getting harder. The shackle wouldn't imprint his arm anymore. "Why do I feel tight.." Lexington tried to ignore the feeling as the water began to cover his head. He pulled once more, but this time he could feel himself budge some slack.
"Yes."
Lexington saved his breath as the platform began to submerge. That same tight feeling came back as he tried to pull his limbs free. However, he could feel his arms slowly moving forward. As the platform sunk deeper both arms and legs began to exert more and more strength until the shackles finally popped. ALRIGHT! overcome with joy in being able to escape, he changes his position from lying down to standing up. Next, Lex pushed off of the platform, seeing as how the platform is sinking he didn't get a very big boost. SHIT, I'M STILL TIGHT Lex didn't flail but instead tried his best to dolphin kick and sweep his arms to get to the top. Finally, when he reaches the top he begins to swim in a breast stroke motion. Fighting hard he tried to keep his whole body afloat until he made it the edge of the pool.
Tired and in need to catch his breath. Lexington hoisted himself up and onto the floor of the room and laid on his back. Several minutes pass by as Lexington tries to catch his breath. "Why do I feel heavy.." Lexington slowly got up and tried doing some jumping jacks. "This is weird, but I'm going to have to work around this." The teen looked around the room and found an iron door. With his right hand outstretched he would reach for the door handle and push forward as hard as he could.

Even after everything, none of his attempts gave him leeway on escaping. In fact, looking at the iron door demoralized him further. Not only was it untouched, but the small light faded away entirely. He decided to put his rag of a shirt back on and return to the singular light source where he'd awoken and thought quietly about what he'd do now, only to find that he couldn't come up with a plan. The only thing that indicated the passage of time was the sudden sound of thumping. From what it appeared, it was coming from the door.
It got the blonde man to his feet as he held his arms out in front of him. It was instinct almost, to make sure that he was ready for whatever would come out. The click of the door unlocking and the reverberating thud made Varus's heart beat as the door revealed a dark figure.
Shit, shit, shit! Who is that?
As the stomping became louder, the blue-eyed boy tried his best to stay away from the reach of the light, hopping backwards and looking for a corner to hide in.

What was that power? Was that really me? @tag The chains broke from the wall, and Valo felt a small bit of accomplishment at this feat. He had been captured enough to not really bat an eye at it anymore... which probably wasn't a good thing. But something certainly felt different... he felt stronger.
Oh well, not gonna complain about that...
He would walk around the edge of his cage entirely, keeping his eyes peeled for every little thing he could possibly miss, any key to getting out of here or any idea to where he might need to go.

"Of course..."
The ultimate case of deja vu as Juelz' laid observant optics on the two brutish men in front of a door and elevator. If this was indeed the exact same area he was in before, the door led to a funky hell with zero visibility. The elevator honestly had no better outcome, but it was an outcome he could handle himself in if push came to forceful shove. So, taking a cautious step forward, Juelz began rolling his neck in full circles as he began approaching the giant brute guarding the elevator. Once within leg range, Juelz unleashed a crippling short kick to the back of the knee cap in attempt to cause preemptive bone damage or buckling.
