Name: Amakusa Takehiro / Takehiro Amakusa (Americanized)
Alias: THE BADASS - Self given.
Age: 21
Grade: Seriously not applicable. Like so far from applicable, it's not even in the same spectrum.
Hint: He's a teacher. PHYS ED MOFO
Height: 6'5''
Weight: 210 lbs
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Blond
Appearance:
Personality: Outwardly, Takehiro appears to be a friendly man, making conversation rather openly with just about anyone at any time, and he does what he can to remember names and faces. He's the guy who offers a "Good Morning" to a passing stranger, helps cats out of trees, and helps old ladies across the streets. He's the guy who take in stray animals, and makes charitable donations to children's hospitals and elementary schools. He's also the guy who doesn't take credit for any of this, so you'd never know unless you took the time to watch him during the day.
While Takehiro does all of these good deeds and tries his hardest to make the world a better place, mentally, he's a little screwed up. The giant suffers from an inferiority complex, among other undiagnosed issues, and this is likely the cause of his giving nature. Part of him wants to feel noticed - and not just for his size.
As a teacher, the giant prioritizes the care of his students, almost more than their education (in a school such as this, his priorities are lined up pretty well), and will go out of his way to protect them. Because of this, he heavily enforces the pillar system, and tries his hardest to maintain order in his classroom.
Fighting Style: When Takehiro fights, he tries to exert as little effort as possible. Typically he will deliver powerful single attacks in an effort to knock out his opponent quickly, so as to minimize damage to all parties. His strikes are quick and will often pack a heavy punch, but more often than not he will go for KO spots like the jaw and solar plexus. Should he be fighting an opponent who's light on their feet and moves too much, Takehiro will utilize grappling and submissions to incapacitate them.
Strengths: Tall and heavy, but quick. Long reach, quick and powerful strikes. Brilliant political mind. Kind, makes friends easy.
Weaknesses: Internal struggles. Size prevents him from being effective in super close quarters unless he successfully gets a hold of his opponent. Ambitious, which may lead to unnecessary risks. Kind, which may lead to deceit and trickery from those who earn his trust.
History: His father a senator, his mother a lawyer, his brothers each men with political and military power, and his sisters both doctors, Takehiro was born into a family with high expectations. Being the runt, he always felt like he would never be good enough. All his life, he'd strive to be like his father and brothers, seeking to gain some sort of political importance. However, it just wasn't the life for him. He'd always had a knack for helping others directly, rather than trying to do things from the sidelines, or tell people "hey you should be nice," so that yearning for acceptance was defeated by a desire to make a difference.
The Amakusa family enacted what would be known as the Reform Act, which was built around turning young public menaces into upstanding citizens, and, more importantly, fixing the problem that was PHS #552. His father, as a Senator, gained incredible public support and the funding for the act skyrocketed, allowing it to take off without a hitch. One by one, the family would take in thugs off the street to "fix" them, but they didn't see enough progress. It felt like they were just putting a band-aid on a bullet hole, so Takehiro decided to take the act to the main source of the problem and take up a teaching position at #552 himself.
With his family's backing, Takehiro hopes to obtain the role of headmaster of the school and quell the rage within it, though he is unsure if he's doing it for the sake of the people, or just to prove himself to his family.
Other:
- Takehiro has extensive training in hand-to-hand combat from his brothers, as well as firearms training. He knows his way around battle fairly well.
- Parts of Takehiro's memory seem to be completely blank. He is unsure why.
*** I will be adding a ton onto Tak's bio hopefully sometime soon. It's pretty much complete for now, but I'll be sprucing it up.
