A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

In one of the school halls, things were fairly empty aside from a small girl and a larger boy. Vivi grabbed the boy's collar, her face contorted in anger, and pulled him down to her eye level. Due to her size and not looking very threatening in the first place, the boy didn't really seem to give a damn.
"You're the bastard who keeps stealing my stuff and trying to feel me up!" she growled, "Give me one reason not to pound your face in, huh?"
The boy laughed and gave her forehead a forceful push, causing her to let go and back pedal a few steps.
"As if you even could, you probably can't even reach that high," he snorts.
Vivi promptly delivered a kick to his manhood, causing him to fall to his knees in pain. From there she slammed her fist into his face.
"Shut the hell up!"

Steven would hear the sound of pain that the man released as he was kicked in the groin and would look up from his locker in time to see Vivi slam a fist into the man's face. With how the man clutched himself below Steven could tell what the little girl had down and would slowly walk towards her.
"You shouldn't fight in the halls. So calm down and walk away."
Steven would instruct her, looking at her as she was still stood above the guy in a position to attack him on the ground. If she tired to do so however Steven would rush in and place himself between her and the guy. Not attacking her, he didn't want to start a fight. Just stop her beating on the student.

Putting things simply, things had been frustrating for Vivi as of late. After Riot, constantly being beat up on by larger students, and then this guy constantly trying to make her life miserable, she just wanted to knock his teeth out. The small girl looked up as a young man with longish brown hair approached her, probably to give her a kick in the face for being violent on campus.
The girl's gaze fell, but she suddenly straightened back up to throw another punch at the boy. To her surprise, the man would go so far as to step between them. Who was this guy...? Most people who went around trying to stop fights did so by incapacitating all the fighters, she'd never seen anyone go about it this way.
Her brow was still tense with frustration, but she allowed her arms to fall to her sides and let out a breath, watching as the boy stood up and quickly walked away. Vivi clenched her jaw and punched the man who'd blocked her in the stomach, though it wasn't hard, she clearly didn't intent to hurt him. It was more like an expression of her stress.
"This is PHS five-five-two... everyone fights around here."

Steven would take the punch and grunt, without trying to block or mimiise damage in anyway it stung quite a bit. The second punch came with less power then the first, and Steven would roll his eyes. Her words were true, and that bugged Steven a lot.
"Everyone doing something doesn't mean others should."
Steven counter, even Steven on occasion fought in the halls, but he tried to avoid it as best he could and only did so when other people were in danger. Right now he was underesitmating the girl because of her size. It was made him not want to fight or hurt her to stop her fighting and litrally put himself in the way because he though he could take it. However he first punch hadn't been a joke, however it didn't come close to the hardships Steven had been through before.
"What the hell started this anyway?"
He would ask in deflection.

At his words, the tension in Vivi's frame seemed to lessen slightly. She glanced to the side, her brow tensed in frustration, not really looking at anything in particular. What he said was a lot like something Kaya used to tell her. She'd talk about how so many people used the darkness around them as an excuse to become that way themselves, and wallow in their misery, when they should really be trying to become a source of light.
Vivi ran a hand wearily over her face, before looking back up at the guy again.
"Touché..." she said simply. At his next question, she opened her mouth to respond, but found herself at a loss for words. It was strange to her that he even cared to know in the first place, but on top of that, it occurred to her she didn't really talk about her problems often. They weren't really important in the long run.
"That guy's a freaking stalker," Vivi began, "He kept trying to touch me, and stole a bunch of my personal stuff--"
She forced herself to stop, realizing she was venting. She pretty much never did that, so it felt unnatural, you could say. Letting out a sigh, she straightened her posture and stuffed her hands in her jacket posture. "He's just annoying, and I'm kind of frustrated with the Riot stuff thats been going on... I might have been using him as an outlet."

Steven listen to her words and would bring a hand up to his chin in thought as he thought up a reply to her words. The fact she was using the guy as a outlet for riot based stress did not mean that his crime should be ignored.
"I didn't say this, but property damage is preferable to damage to persons, and well there are enough stress relieving 'vices' I don't but they work for others. They are a better way to vent."
He would say to her last words before turning to the guy he had protected.
"Get up get out of here, and if you keep bugging her I won't protect you next time."
Steven would say to the guy and help him to his feet, the guy had seen how Steven had taken Vivi punch without really caring and as such would leg it when told.
"There are also other ways to get people to stop those things. Report them to a teacher, walk away. Don't just beat on them."
Steven knew that he hadn't always listened to that advice. However he knew that he was not infallible, he didn't pretend he was.

Vivi listened with down cast eyes, but was otherwise unreadable. She nodded a few times, before folding her arms and glancing back up again in time to see him shoo off the boy.
"You've got a point," Vivi sighed, "I'll keep that in mind..."
It certainly was unusual, the way the guy used diplomacy to get through to her instead of his fists. She found herself calming down in spite of herself, but she still kind of wanted to punch something. Now was as good a time as any to get over that, though.
"I guess I'm not really used to going to others for help with my problems," she admitted, "My my instinctive solution is usually violence, too."
She let out a sheepish chuckle.
"Sorry about punching you, by the way."

"Lashing out is natural."
Steven would reply to her words. Violence was a part of life, human were animals and animals were violent.
"And only he second was purposeful and you held back on it."
Steven said however it was only to make her feel slightly better. Being hit twice in the gut was nothing to laugh at ever. Lifting his right hand Steven would squeeze the bridge of his nose.
"I'm Rosett, you are?"
He would ask, always good to find out peoples names.

Vivi nodded. It was a sharp, bird-like motion with her eyes downcast, almost like she were a child being reprimanded. She glanced up again when he introduced himself.
"Vivi Perish," she replied, "Sorry about hitting you, Rosett."
She paused to take a breath and fold her arms.
"You're... different from most of the students who try to stop fights, per se. They'd usually beat the crap out of me if they caught me like this."

"I'm not going to lie, I've used violence to stop fights. But I don't like to."
Steven would tell Vivi, in fact Steven knew that he had used fighting to stop fighting more often then he should. However he did need to break that habit. Though had Vivi been stronger, someone like Macht well Steven would have seriously have been hurt by using such a method he was sure.
"Though it's good thing your sorry, most people I've come across don't seem to regret any harm they inflict."

"Yeah... so have I. It's a necessary evil, you could say.”
She tried to ignore the fact, but the girl had become increasingly more violent and voracious over the past weeks. When she’d first transferred, she’d been quiet, timid, and afraid of fighting. Now she was forth coming, easily angered, and constantly getting into scuffles. Either she was getting stronger, or she had just always been weak. So weak, that she allowed PHS five-two-two to bend her to it’s ways.
“Being pretty honest, I have been getting in a lot of trouble with other students lately so I can’t talk like I’m above that. But I do feel remorse I guess…”
The sad thing was, she was losing her conscience, something that had always made her, her.
Damn this school…

Unknown to Vivi, Steven had had the same happen to him. He was more violent then he once was. More willing to go to extreme to bring justice against those he saw deserved it. However Steven had that toned back slightly when he joined up with Macht coalition. Still their were a few people Steven would gladly bring the pain to.
"What sort of problems?"
Steven would asked concerned.

Vivi opened her mouth and furrowed her brow, searching for words. He seemed legitimately concerned. It was kind of nice to know people like him actually frequented this school, people who actually cared about the well being of the students.
"Problems? Well, it's mostly just a bunch of testosterone driven boys wanting to prove how macho they are by picking on a girl who weighs fifty pounds less than them," Vivi sighed, "That and, eh... other stuff. Y'know, typical five-five-two. I just need to suck it up and deal with it, I guess."
When she said 'other stuff', she was mostly thinking of Riot. Lately she jus couldn't stop thinking about what had happened back there. The events that took place there kept refreshing themselves in her mind. The powerlessness, the wounded students... the murdered students. She just wanted to smash Riot. If only she were stronger...

Steven listened to Vivi words, as he did Steven would pull out a small note book from a pocket along with a pencil. Scratch that a broken pencil. She must have hit his pocket with one of the punches and broken it. Steven would use the broken stub, Steven would write something and tear a page from the book.
"Number and skype."
Steven said handing her the slip of paper. It would simply have his number and his name separated by a single dot which was his skype name.
"Get in trouble I'll help, need to vent, a normal spar works. Trust me I can take it."

Vivi tentatively took the piece of paper, glancing down at it briefly. She wouldn't vocalize her gratitude much past a simple thank-you, but she was really grateful to the point she wasn't even sure why. The girl was slow to trust people, but Rosett's gestures and ways of dealing with the school were kind of eye-opening. Maybe she should try to be the same way?
"Hey, thanks..." she began, "I'll keep this handy."
Vivi folded the paper and slipped it into her jacket pocket, before crossing her arms in front of her chest once more.
"So, give it to me straight. Why're you being so kind to me?"
It was a terribly rude question, but that thought occurred to her much too late. Vivi was sued to people having ulterior motives every time they did something that seemed to be in good will. Something told her that this was just the way this guy worked though. Perhaps he had a genuine care for the students?
