A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Aaron chuckled. The stones on this one. Aaron would crack his neck. He had heard stories of Macht Starke. He had only a small handful of defeats under his belt, when he first came to 552. After that, he picked his fights well, chewing through those who couldn't stand against him. Now he was at the top of a pile of mediocrity and thought himself the King. Aaron, a teacher, wouldn't deign to comment on it. He was there to protect his sister, his chuckle all that was needed to show his thoughts on Macht's own ignorance. The guy must have some tricks up his sleeve, like Felix. Aaron would have to make sure to break Macht's steel spine, that granted him the ability to disrespect people in such a way. He spoke softly to Phoebe, so only she could hear.
"Don't take the bait, Phoebe. Some will think he's talking shit but he actually feels that he's invincible. Shrug it away, don't let your pride fall into his game of words."
He trusted his sister, but she was young, as was Allen. Oh wait, Allen-

"Who knows...."Allen would stomach his replies after that one to Aldritch, his pleasure at Phoebe's words growing. He grinned, despite Macht running his mouth. He sighed, and pushed off the wall. He would walk over beside Leon and stick his hands in his back pockets. Macht, Mikey, The Riot King, Vivi, Valo, Zoe.....they all ran their mouths about how awesome they were. About the terrible strength they had and that those who couldn't stand against them should run and bury their head in the sand. Allen was learning something from his brother, despite the quiet anger in his head. He learned that quiet confidence spoke more volumes that a motor mouth. He could insult Macht's intelligence, he could return words of spite about their last fight, or about Apex in general. Instead he said-
"You know....the one who constantly says he's got a big dick is the one with the smallest in the room- that's all I have to say about everything you intimated about LG. Rather than respond in kind....why don't we just get this show on the road? If you want to prove something to us, then prove it, Terminator. All of us against the pair of you....the loser disbands their gang. Once disbanded, the gang cannot be reformed. The victors can single out people they want to join their gang and ask them to join then, if they aren't too...wounded of pride. And we definitely aren't fighting in this little alley, where only a few of us can fight you at a time. We'll take it out in the street."
He grinned broadly, eyes mostly closed as he tilted his head to the side. His adrenaline kicked in. He wanted to reach out and bitch-slap Macht.
All in good time. Right now....he had to prove a point.

This was exactly what the school needed. A bunch of kids trying to grow up to fast. Making little factions and trying to beat their rivals into the ground. What more could a good school need?
Okay, not really. This fucking sucked.
The girl stood near the edge of the group, close enough to hear everything that was said, and watch the goings on. Also close enough to be spotted by anyone who looked around enough. going to get stared at.
Her violet hair was pulled back into a pony tail, and her bangs were plastered to her forehead in the rain. Her indigo gaze was set on the Apex Warriors, and a frown was evident on her face. Disapproval seemed to radiate from her very being as she just stood there and stared.
At this bit about trying to get them to pawn Phoebe and Ira off to their group she felt disgust rise in her gut. Maybe she was being irrational or just didn't understand but… she couldn’t even stomach this situation. And Macht… her gaze flicked to him and she watched the red head for a brief moment.
She didn’t even know who that kid was anymore.
They hadn’t spoken in so long, and he hardly seemed like the guy he used to be. Or that she thought he was. But then again, sometimes people don’t really change. They just reveal who they are.
Vivi took several steps back and shoved her hands into her jacket pockets, preparing to observe how this fiasco would go down. If they’d go after LG, would they go after Hyperion next? That was something she definitely wasn’t okay with, seeing as it was Valo’s gang.
She had a certain fondness for the LG members as well. Aaron and Leon were people she’d come to look up to, and from what she’d heard about Allen and Phoebe from their older brother they were nice kids. Felix was a kid with a good heart too, and the two girls they were trying to take seemed perfectly happy where they were. Did Apex really need to do this...?

Blowing a long breath, she huffed and her bangs fluttered in the air temporarily. Awkwardly feeling gazes piercing into her being, her face paled momentarily and she fastened her bangs up with a crimson clip as she lightly tread her way to Aaron's side.
Eying him darkly, she turned around and smiled. It was a perfunctory one--she wasn't genuinely happy, and she hardly remembered a time she was.
A thrill ran through her at that point in time, stomping down her decision into her hand, pressing it firmly into her mind and refused to release her. She knew what she wanted, and there were means, handed to her on a silver platter, for her to attain her desires.
"Why not?" She shrugged, seemingly oblivious to the rising tension that could be broken into war cries with a light push.
"I agree to the terms.' She laughed again. This time, it was out of pure, unadulterated exhilaration that was entirely derived from her heart, mind and soul. Yanking a wristband over the LG tattoo, done painstakingly on her arm.
LG might not fight. A sudden realization jolted her into reality, out of her delirious state of mind. It was Phoebe; it was all about Phoebe. She was interlinked with Allen, Aaron and Leon, they were comrades, friends and kin till the extreme end, and she had never once, questioned their bond. It wasn't worth approaching. Despite what she said, it was generally her that wielded control over herself, as she desperately tried to fuse her mind and heart into a single entity.
How crude. Her doubts were.
Raising an eyebrow as her eyes glinted with delusional glee, she pointed her index finger at Macht, while slowing the lump in her throat abrasively, as the both of them stood, in their own aloof glory.
"Let's fight, Macht Starke."

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Al walked towards his allies, standing right by their sides. "Y'know, if they're in it for the fight, I'm in for the fight..." He said, his hair covering his eyes, casting an eerie shadow on his face. Fighting all these strong people might be a decision he'll regret sooner or later, but no, he'll still go with it, he ain't afraid to break a few bones. He turned his head towards Leon as he crunched his knuckles with a deadpan expression. "Wacha' say boss?"

Phoebe wouldn't react to Ira's scream (however satisfying it was that apparently they were on the same page), and though she tensed, utterly tempted to clip a few words at Felix, she didn't. She took a deep breath and looked between Austin and Macht.
"...like I said, Austin, I doubted those words came from you. I know you don't see me as something, but you do apparently see me as someone you need to protect. But, Austin, listen. I want you to think on this. That Macht is going and throwing his weight and power around to show he can do and take anything he wants? That's a dark path. That's just a step in the direction of Riot. And if you don't believe me on that, then think about it a little more. Riot flexed their power and strength to dominate when they took away my freedom."
She spoke very clearly, her gaze very direct.
"When they showed me I could do nothing cause they were stronger as they proceeded to violate and rape me. When they came in force and finally managed to take me. If you're as concerned about protecting me, as you say, and as I can probably believe, then you'd realize tearing me away from my family isn't the way to do it. Banding together, certainly, but not causing these rifts. What Macht is attempting to prove, that he's strong, so he can do whatever he wants is just how Riot - and even Orochi - is acting. Is that really what you want for Apex? What your father wanted?"
She wasn't listening to the shifting, to the Australian lass speaking of nutty boyfriends - which Austin wasn't, but...what about Macht and Ira? - or Ira herself saying she would fight. This wasn't about Phoebe, despite what Ira thought. This was Macht wanting Ira, and perhaps - from her perspective - he was using Austin's friendship and desire to protect Phoebe as a way to get him to agree. And now he was saying it didn't matter, because he'd take them by force.
Bee shook her head, her spine stiff. She didn't respond to say if she would actually go through with it. She didn't want to. It would strip her of who she was, little by little, if she was forced to follow Macht. She didn't want to travel that path with them. Allen's idea might be the best? Even if Macht could beat Aaron, she remembered the shape he'd been in when he confronted a Riot Elite. It would prove nothing, not a thing, in her eyes.

Post by "Knuckles" on Oct 25, 2015 11:42:14 GMT -5
This whole situation was a little harder to deal with than he initially though. Austin wasn't stupid, he understood the steps that were being taken would likely result in people comparing Apex to RIOT. And who knew, maybe Phoebe was right. They were heading down a dark path. But Knuckles had known that for a while. His intentions had always been to rocket Apex to the top and exhert authority and strength.
His father had been killed when Austin was still young. He had been left alone, to be raised by friends and the Apex family alone. Grown to be violent and to have little regard for the laws of the land. Fostered into a life of virtually unending bloodshed and pain.
Phoebe's words struck a chord. To be honest, he had been so wrapped up into recent events that he never really aloowed himself to think about what his father's founding intentions had been with Apex. And the possibility that somewhere down the line, those intentions had been poisoned, molded to fit the needs of his god father Rick and the rest of the 'brotherhood' after his father's passing.
But those were thoughts he could barely bring himself to think about. Austin was far from a saint. Hell, he killed his own mother and not a damn soul here knew that. He had only told one person and that person was no longer around. In fact he had shared little of his past with Phoebe. He was too afraid to. But Knuckles knew that he had passed over that thin red line a long time ago. He was a monster, just trying to pretend he wasn't.
"I can't answer that right now Phoebe.. I.. Just don't know anymore."
Part of his wanted to scream at Phoebe for even bringing his father up in the first place. But he couldn't. This wasn't the time or place for that. Instead he remained silent, staring at the ground in front of him, almost as if he was trying to block it all out.
"..So then we change the rules.. If we win, LG is no more. If we loose, Apex disintegrates.. Right Macht?"
To be honest, Knuckles was unsure of what to believe. Everyone seemed to be scheming, Austin was no different. It was hard for him to tell when he was being used. Austin was still unsure if that was even Macht's intentions. He didn't want to believe it, at least. He would rather fight to decide the fate of Apex than try and figure out something like thst at this moment. He didn't know if he could handle that kind of betrayal right now.

Poor Austin was actually the one that brought his father into it; Bee had truthfully known Apex was important to her friend, but she couldn't remember if she'd known about his father. Still, him bringing it up just before she responded opened that door. She gave him an uncertain smile.
All she wanted to do here was not have this come to this, either way. She was probably one of a few that didn't have an underlying objective aside from what she'd already stated. However, she tended to be a rather emotional creature, and could relate to a person the best by empathising with what made them tick, what mattered to them. So when Austin said he couldn't answer, she nodded with that smile.
"It's okay, Austin. It's not something that needs to be answered right now... Regardless of this...you're still my friend."
She looked at Macht.
"...I don't want to wait until this is all done, by the way, to get to know why, straight from your own mouth. Aside from what you've said already."
It wasn't right that she couldn't know until after. Especially if his reasons were only what he had said thus far.
Bee was feeling a tiny bit more at ease with the new proposal. It didn't mean she couldn't hang around with other LG members (actually, regardless, the only thing that would be different was Macht would be leading her instead of Leon...) or Apex, if either one disbanded, but, it was still serious enough to be a cause for concern...
"...knowing what the two gangs mean to Austin and Leon, though...I do not wish to see either gang dissolved. So I'm not happy with the initial proposal, but...it seems the better way to go about it."

Leon listened to everyone in silence, contemplating the reason's both sides were here. Macht didn't believe that LG could protect Ira or Phoebe from the threats attracted to them? He warned each new member of the dangers and right now the only threat specifically targeting LG was Macht's brother. At least that relationship was confirmed. Also if Leon wanted to Mikey and his shadow Kaiser would be dust in the wind at this point, neither at his level anymore. He should probably thank them for pushing him to this point, maybe after he crushed them under boot.
However the issue current was Macht was worried for Ira. So he called for a gang war, even tried to keep it personal in challenging all of LG it would seem his challenge was for the right to protect Ira, cause neither Phoebe or Austin seemed in on it. It sounded petty to some, but Leon understood his worry. The cybernetic man had a heart after all. However Austin's proposed new terms didn't sit well, felt like an emotional response to the words being thrown around.
"No."
Was Leon's response.
"If we fight, it needs to be to gain something. Our groups are too big and too important to fight over existence and just two members. So I propose a... System of sorts. We fight, all out, everyone. The winners decide big choices for both groups for six months. After six months we meet and decide the fight for who runs both groups i the following six months. Our minor operations like recruitment and business are our own, but major stuff like war and non-aggression pacts would be up to the group in control."
What Leon was proposing was a modified mafia/yakuza system. If Macht/Austin won they would be the Don/Chairman, and Leon would be a family head. So on and so forth.

Ira agreed to the fight, and that was all that mattered. A grin crossed Macht's lips, one unlike any that had been seen on the redhead's likeness in months. It was one of genuine excitement, though the cause of it would be difficult to identify. Either way, one thing was obvious: this fight was going to happen, under whichever terms they eventually settled upon. In the end, he didn't care what they had wagered against Apex, because he knew the LG wouldn't stand a chance. With whatever terms they felt made them most comfortable, they would still fall, and Macht would prove himself more aptly suited to adequately protect Ira. "We're in this together, Knucks. Through and through. Don't let her try and sway you. I didn't do you wrong when you were gone, I sure as hell won't do you wrong now. So trust me, brother."Offering an ironically kind smile, Macht placed a reassuring hand on Knuckles' shoulder and squeezed it lightly. He didn't care where Cedric and Paige were during this fight, but he knew that with Knuckles at his side, the odds were tipped heavily in their favor. And because of this, it was possible for him to look to Ira, Leon, and the rest of LG with confidence in his eyes. Not some misplaced arrogance, nor brash stupidity - he looked to them with confidence he had the means of backing up. "I agree to the terms. Now enough talk."Walking boldly through LG's ranks, Macht began to remove his Apex Warriors vest and jacket, tossing them to the side of the alley. As he made his way onto the street, he began to lightly stretch, and his prosthetic began to rev up loudly - the rain poured onto it, instantly evaporating. Macht would wait for all of his men, and all of LG to be situated in the street. He would not be facing the opponents, however. His blind side would be to them, and he would simply raise his flesh hand, beckoning for the men and women, who seemed to believe wholeheartedly they could defeat him, to prove it. Aaron would, after Macht passed and everyone turned to follow, step in front of Knuckles and gently take his shoulder. He would stare down at him, a look that said he was almost sorry for what was going to happen here. He let his arm lower as all of Apex and LG had now left from the Alleyway. " Let them go. We both know I'm one of the strongest in LG, as you are one of the strongest in Apex. We'll let the others flood the street....and the winner of you and I will step out to help out friends. And...so we're clear, I'm not asking." He would attempt to burst forward and grab Knuckles with both arms and lift him off his feet, running backward out the other end of the Alley, aiming to throw him into the parking lot behind the club- intent to use surprise to get them there in three quick strides. He wouldnt he press the attack though. He would shrug off his coat, revealing the massive lightning bolt tree tattoo on his back, and the many others as well as scars on his body. He set it gently off to the side, his muscles flexing with his body blocking the opening. " You better be sure you can bring me down, Austin, because if you don't....I will take something from you today, as retribution for agreeing with the statement that I could not protect my sister. For trying to claim you and the cyborg can to better. When I'm done, I will take from him what I take from you. Today...you and I will become enemies, I am sure of it." Aaron would let his right foot slip back as both legs bent. His left arm came up, bent at a 90 degree angle. His thumb, index and middle finger were clawed outward while his right hand was down by his waist. He wouldn't smile- this wasn't a game to him. Austin was party to challenging for the right to take Phoebe. Now it was time to back it up. OOC: Some minor puppeting here- hope you don't mind, but it fits story-wise. If you don't like, feel free to retaliate in the alley. "Knuckles"Stats: Str: 65 - Dex: 63 - Con: 115 - Wis: 30 - Int: 40

Allen, following Macht, would let most others in front of him as he slowly drew his sword. There was no sound from it, what with the measured draw. As Macht stretched, leaving his side to them Allen would stop around 7 feet away. As Macht waved them forward- right side still to them? Allen scowled. What a fool. As stated, Macht exposed his blind side. Allen would check the buildings around them, noting that the rain obscured them so seeing a reflection in a window or a car windshield would prove impossible.
Allen would burst forward deftly, aiming with his right hand and coming in low- which would be easy for him considering Macht was so tall and the rain further obscured sound- with the intent to swipe-cut the back of Macht's right knee. The point was to sever the ligaments at the back, there. Allen was moving so quickly he could barely keep up himself, but his right hand once the slash was made would attempt to whip the sword back to the right again and hamstring him.
Once Macht was sufficiently hurt in the manner according to his own doing, Allen would dive away, knowing Macht was sure to try and retaliate.

And so it was to begin, Leon had made a proposal of his own and it seemed that Macht was fine with it. He began to make his way out of the alley and into the street. Austin had been prepared to follow him until Aaron approached him. He would speak, before grabing at Austin and forcing him backwarss before throwing him away from Macht and the rest.
Austin would manage to correct himself and roll into a crouch, before standing and focusing those hazel hues upon Aaron, defiantly staring toward the eldest Hollows as he continued to speak. Knuckles wasn't smiling either, which meant he himself was taking this quite seriously.
"You're so confident you have my number, Old man.. I won't hold anything back like last time.. You have no fuckin' clue what I'm capable of doing to my 'enemies' and if you really wanna take that route, so be it.. But don't you think for a damn second that you're gonna run through me without suffering yourself."
The last time they fought, Aaron had tried to push Austin to his limits. And he had done a pretty good job of it. And while Aaron had came out on top that time, he wouldn't experience the same Knuckles this day. He hadn't shown all his abilities nor was he truely fighting.for something he believed in. Today, Austin planned to hold nothing back. If Aaron wanted an enemy, then he would have one.
"LG has failed before hasn't it!? I'm going to prove that you ain't capable of protecting her! Not you.. Not Allen.. IT SHOULD BE ME!"
The rain was beginning to pick up, Knuckles slicked his hair back, before pulling his vest off and toss it aside, his own muscular body glisening as the water came down, various scars and tattoos of his own out in the open. The time for talk was finished. Austin's eyes glaring toward his opponent.
I can beat this fucker.. I know I can- I HAVE TO!
Eyes on fire, Knuckles's right hand would extend and blood would begin to seep through hisnpores, pooling in his palm before it formed and the blood burst exploded, starting this fight by sending shrapnel of crimson-hued blood stone toward Aaron's face.

Post by Jude Liang on Oct 27, 2015 0:12:49 GMT -5
Up until now, Jude had remained amidst the LG assembly and listened attentively. The Helen--or in this case, Helen's--of Troy were Phoebe and Ira. Jude wasn't extremely familiar with either of the two girls, but he didn't see any objective reason to wager so much for them. So, it truly was a personal affair. Jude wasn't sure what his stance on the whole controversy was. His only reaction so far was to Macht's challenge and Leon's response. The reaction was a mixture of incredulity and apprehension. Apparently these gang leaders were so sure of their abilities that they had erased the word 'risk' from their respective vocabularies. They were betting entire gangs on Phoebe and Ira. Speaking of Ira, she had definitely looked straight at Jude earlier. He wasn't counting on non-brawlers like her to be at the forefront of this event, to be frank, but here she was. Jude's concealment was now imperfect. He chided himself for not even bringing a hoodie to hide himself with. At least he could still claim to be there to watch his friends. It was important that he keep the extent of his involvement with LG hidden, if he could afford to do so. As the battle began, Jude would take a deep breath and gather qi to start activating the main meridians in his body [Gatekeeper*3]. He had no plans to join the attack on the steel-armed titan, but it wouldn't hurt to prepare for the worst. Besides, knowing the headstrong members of LG, Jude might have to drag their unconscious bodies to the hospital later on. That'd be for the sake of both Jude's alibi and the LG fighters' lives. //STR: 10 (11) | DEX: 20 (31) | CON: 17 (18) | WIS: 20 (36) | INT*: 27 (80)

Leon would follow Macht out into the street. Moving to one side to stretch himself. taking a deep breath and looking to the sky, closing his eyes. Feeling the rain drop down, attempting to cleanse the battlefield and create a pure environment for this conflict. Something he wanted, this battle no matter what way it went would push everyone here to grow. Opening his eye's and looking back down at Macht, Leon saw Allen approaching with his sword drawn. Gritting his teeth Leon would yell out to lead the charge. "WaaaaaAAAAAAAHHHH!" A battle cry if you would, something to invigorate himself, the LG army following suit. Leon would charge, his feet causing jets of water to shoot up from his steps. Macht had the advantage with his offense in the tournament, but he showed his weakness. Or at least the only weakness Leon knew how to take advantage of. Macht would seek the damage. He wanted to put out so much damage that it would end the fight quickly. If Leon put himself in that mindset, Macht would be easy to predict. Leon saw no reason to use his own gear and abilities yet.
