A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

I paced the ring and awaited the First Pillar. I didn't think I would last long... No, I knew I wouldn't last long. But my.... Boss gave me an order. I cringed at the thought of calling Leon Mother Fucking Sudeki my boss. Ugh!I turned and looked at my watch: another five minutes and she was supposed to be here. That was, IF she got the message. I had sent a kid to tell her to come here. I needed to have a bit more time to myself. I needed to get in the right mental state first. "You'll do good... I'll help you.""Shuddahp."I rolled my eyes at the corner of the ring. I was starting to get tired of this voice in my head. He... She... IT was annoying. Right when I wanted silence, there it was bothering me again. Right when I needed it most, however, it was there. I guess it was a double edged sword. It helped and hurt. Damn it. I need to focus. | fifty words for m u r d e r The last time Ira Defaire was challenged, she was standing in the school fields, defiant and wary of all contestants. She scrutinized them, observed them, and when she was done--defeated them without any hesitation. Her opponents then radiated icy blood-lust to her. It was too familiar, for she possessed the exact same goal as they did, with the exact same amount of determination to eradicate anyone that stood in her way.However, this time, it was slightly different. Standing before Melanie as the First Pillar, Ira's glance informed her that her opponent was a defeated one, a weary one that utterly lacked the willpower or fascination for danger that Leon, Aldritch or Felix possessed.Giving Melanie another dubious once-over, Ira paused for a second and weighed her options carefully. She could run towards these girl and gleefully jump out with sparks dancing on her fingertips, screaming bloody murder. Or she could offer some tissues, sympathetic nachos, and maybe a long chat over expensive starbucks coffee that she probably couldn't afford.
Being Ira, she chose the third choice. Bells rang softly in the background. Stamping on the floor, Ira propelled towards Melanie as she hurled a bullet-size bolt of sapphire-blue fire that coalesced calmly in her right hand as she flew, towards Melanie's gut."I don't like fighting." She said thoughtfully, as she remained unperturbed by her increasing impulse to submerge herself into a world of danger without ever, ever looking back.► Priming AOE : While reversing the space-time continuum, she may create a white hole that generates a powerful shock wave that damages everyone within ten feet from the point of impact for a force of seventy-five percent of her intelligence. The shock wave cannot be seen, but the force field would generate waves of energy that could be felt. Once per 20 intelligence.
► Time Walker : She may manipulate the dimension of time, allowing her to move at a boost of 3/4 her int. Once per 10 intelligence.
► Blue Fire : Allows the user to make a crossbow-like weapon made of pure sapphire-blue flames under their wrist. This weapon can shoot bolts made of pure fire-based energy. These bolts deal damage and travel at the user's total INT. They can go up to 2 feet wide, or be a bullet-size bolt. 20 INT per use. | and i'm every single one of them. |

I thought about moving, but that was as far as I got. Only a thought, Jesus she was fast. Perhaps I had made a mistake in choosing to fight her? No. I would carry on. I would keep fighting. I had to fight back. I would fight hard and I would try to win. "I could help. Leon knows nothing compared to what I could teach you... If you would only li-"
"I told you to shut the fuck up!"I yelled at the voice. Did the Pillar think I was yelling at her? Dammit... That fucking voice is going to be the end of me. Before I could think about or do anything else, the fire had hit me. Burning. Pain. Unimaginable to even think about. More pain than what Leon or Kazuya had caused. Goddammit... The scream that escaped my lips was blood curdling. I dropped to the ground clutching my stomach. My world beginning to fade as I lost consciousness. I saw the face of my brother: Nathaniel pass over my eyes holding a rose to me before it all went dark, but then... light? I felt invigorated and wanted to keep fighting! I had to. For Nathaniel. He was all that mattered! I stood up as my clothes turned white, my hair flew out behind me (despite there being no wind but that caused my Ira), My clothes now, long flowy cloth pants and a sleeveless wrap shirt. Pointy fox ears grew atop my head and a long bushy white tail from just above my booty. Once I was fully upright, I'd send a flurry of fire her way!
Fading Rose: Invigorates the user to continue fighting for three posts past their breaking point. [1/3]
Fox Demon Pendant: At the cost of 20 int per post, Melanie's clothes turn stark white along with her hair, giving her the form of a Fox Spirit. In this form she has +8 to all stats. -4 to all stats for every post this item was active.[1/4]
Fox Fire Gloves:Fox Demon Pendant Must be Active Melanie may spend 20 Int to shoot "Fox Fire" in a stream in front of her doing her full INT in damage as well as 1/2 her FULL INT in damage to those within 5 feet of the target up to 3 additional targets.[1/4]

LExington repeatedly tapped the eraser of his pencil against his worksheet. The whole classroom was quiet for once, it was his math class and per usual, math was the boring subject. The room was also hot so they had to leave the window open. Lexington had the window seat near the middle of the far right side of the room. He hear what sounded like a superpower being activated, so curiousity got the best of him and when the substitute teacher wasn't looking he turned his head and stretched out till he got a view of the courtyard below. There was a fight going on, Leington didn't know if it was a pillar challenge or just plain ol' fisticuffs. He could clearly see Ira, then on the other side he saw that girl Melanie, same one that he saw when he first arrived to this new school. Shortly after catching a glimpse of Melanie she quickly took a bullet to the chest and went down. Hot damn. Lexington continued to watch as Melanie began to shapeshift and she took on the form of a ghostly white fox. "Wait what." Lexington was never really the type to use powers, but in today's economy ya had to make due with what ya had. So Lexington crumpled up his worksheet, took a foul shot for the garbage can, missed the shot, so he had to walk over and throw it out the serf way. After this he left his knapsack by his desk "Aye, I'm gunna hit the stalls. then he jogged down the stairs and over to the courtyard to watch the rest of the fight, class just started to he had time to burn.

FIFTY WORDS FOR MURDER ❝ Ira was startled when Melanie began pulling out expletives. She didn't know they were at the stage of vulgarities yet. Pausing slightly, she regarded Melanie with an expression that very much supported the idea that she thought Melanie was batshit crazy.
They weren't even past the stage of "oh mys" and "golly-gees" yet, and Melanie was already progressing to "shut the fuck up."
Hearing the scream echo from Melanie, Ira's pause proved to be a mistake, for Melanie's fire engulfed her. Feeling blood curdle up in her mouth, she twisted her lips into a feral snarl of her own. It was hard for Ira to take anything seriously, but for this red-head girl, she would.
However, before the fire hit her, a soft silver glow would engulf her, existing as only small glimmers in the harsh glow of Melanie's fire. She slammed right into Melanie due to her previous propelling miscalculation, and the fire was sent right into her gut.
A void opened up on the floor and it flared up angrily. Reaching a hand out, Ira would throw a soda can right at Melanie's right knee, as an otter would charge at Melanie's left knee and headbutt in angrily. For now, Ira would have to adhere to one of the rules she'd learn in combat; don't give them a single chance to retaliate. If they do, destabilize them. If all else fails...

My fire had worked but it hadn't done much. The Pillar came at me again and threw.... An otter? What the-- I was unable to continue the thought as it came at my knee and tore it up, bruh! Soon after the head butt! Then a... thing on the ground... and a... a Soda can? WHAT THE HELL?! The can exploded on my knee and the pain seared through the rest of my body... Well, the front of it, but it really wasn't like I could tell all that right this second. It was a good thing my hands were out in front of me so I knew the headbutt was coming, it didn't make it feel any better but still helped a little bit. Now that she was close, I would be able to fight her at close range. Maybe I'd be able to do something back now. The fire stopped flowing from my hands as I lifted my hands to my hair and ripped the rose from my head. A smile spread over my face as I snapped the rose out and it became my Rose Whip. I wrapped it around the back of her neck and yanked her back toward me aiming to head butt her back as hard as I was able. "Now you are thinking straight... Now you can do it. I could still help you know...."
"Shut up. I didn't ask for your... HELP!"I yelled the last word as I planted my head into hers.

SHE IS BEAUTY, SHE IS GRACE ❝ Ira staggered back from the headbutt, slightly disgruntled. That girl's head was hard; was that the legend of fiery red-heads that she had read about in story books real? Or was that simply her imagination, and Melanie was just an asshole?
"This is why you won't have a boyfriend, no one likes a girl that beats them in hardness." Ira muttered, as she launched a soda can in Melanie's gut after backing away a lot more than just a few steps.
After launching the soda can, Ira would shoot another bolt of fire at her, evidently annoyed by the duration of the battle. She had things to do as the First Pillar! Like ripping off the school money, embezzle funds and travel the world! Dear lord, if this spunky red-head won, Ira would be humiliated enough to migrate and change her name to 'Pedro' so that no one could recognize her ever again.
That, and the fact that she'll be broke if the school didn't fund her.
"Look you are really nice." Ira managed with huge difficulty, considering the fact that her head stung. "And I love to, you know, chat about challenging the first pillar when you are menstruating, but must you really touch my face? That's a no-zone!" She yelp. "Like a no-no zone, that's literally the only way I charm, these eyebrows don't come cheap!"
After giving Melanie the whole speech on girls being gracious enough to not attack the face when clawing each other's eyes out, Ira did the most graceful thing another person can do in a fight.
She fell right on her ass.
Well, that's a nice goodbye to the first pillar position. SHE WILL PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE. |
