A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

HARD AS IRON, SHARP AS STEEL ❝ Being ripped away mercilessly from the last thread of your sanity was an extremely dangerous thing. Ira was an extremely dangerous time bomb that could detonate any time she want, any way she desired. However, it did not serve her well as her so-called pretty face rapidly soured with a frown adorning it. Her eyes narrowed, and she left the school, overlooking the school buildings with a grim smile.
She lost too many, and she hadn't had much to begin with. Knowing that her existence was synonymous with loss and pain, Ira hid her growing resentment of everyone that disappeared-- Felix Booker, Leon Sudeki, Aldritch Hexell, Gino Reisi were just the few that carried the brunt of it. Each of them disappeared, quieter than their predecessors.
First pillar be damn--what bloody freedom does a high-ranking position gave her, aside from more promises of fighting and annoyances?
Leaning calmly against the tallest tree situated outside the school--the outside of the school being a vast, empty space of roads, and a wall quite far behind her. It was a perfect battlefield. Picking up a microphone she rigged a few days ago, she spoke loudly enough for her cool voice to resonate in the school PA system.
"This is Ira Defaire, your First Pillar. I'll hereby revoke my title to the person that defeat me within this hour. I'll wait. I'm waiting outside the school. All of you can come--to spectate, to fight me, to fight each other, and I will be waiting. Bring your weapons, bring your mothers, bring each other, and remember, students of PHS 552--" She paused almost sarcastically.
"Bring your coffins as well, so I may bury your bodies when I'm done." STOP FOR NO MAN, YOU'D BETTER BEG AND KNEEL Feel free to jump into this thread just to spectate. You don't have to fight, nor do you have to fight Ira. This isn't a staff-sanctioned event, but as per rule goes, you'll get 1 exp for every person you fight in this thread, regardless of win or lose. You can post as much as you like, but don't skip anyone. However, you will not get the title of the first pillar if you fail to fight the fourth time I post with Ira. Play fair, and have fun, everyone!
Oh, and remember to post your stats if you are fighting. People that cannot fight are Macht and Kazuya. |

►❚❚ Her name is enough to spur him into action, make him grit his teeth as brown eyes flash with something steely. Gino is someone that doesn't have much expression, indifference the forefront to whatever he does, but right now, the male looks positively pissed- Well, pissed for him. His face is stony, something that could be carved out of rock, his eyes shining irate.
His feet are already bringing him to the front of the school, and the moment he catches sight of Ira, his pace quickens. Because Gino has been in PHS for a few weeks, and he is honestly sick and tired of Ira avoiding him, honestly, what the fuck? He said he was sorry for leaving, and that technically some of it was her fault for being gone when he came back, yet this whole time after that riveting conversation, Gino has failed to see ebony locks and black or purple eyes again, told that he just missed her if he ever deigned it worthy of his time to ask.
"Ira." Gino starts, and it's halfway towards a hiss, his usual calm tone dissipating as he would calmly take off his leather loafer to throw it at her with terrifying precision. "Stop avoiding me, you annoying little elf."
And, if he's going to be completely honest, Ira's jumped him quite enough times when they were 13, and he's all for gender equality in beating someone up, so he goes forward to tackle her down.

Well, that's a textbook example of when it gets fuckin' lit.
Kevin was in a study hall period at the time. After all, he was trying to be such a good noodle and get his grades up instead of fighting and disappointing his mother. Books were strewn everywhere as he did his best to knock out his homework early. He made good progress, too...even if a good amount of the answers were incorrect. Kevin tapped his pencil against his chin as he wracked his brain over an algebra equation. It seemed he'd be there forever until the intercom erupted with Ira's voice. In a silent classroom full of students minding their business for once, the sudden noise (along with it being a girl talking) visibly startled Kevin as he almost leapt out of his seat. The others in the room momentarily looked back to figure out what the noise was; they found Kevin looking entirely too cool in a desk that had shifted across the floor some inches when he jumped. The announcement came to an end, other students took a look around and Kevin figured that since he needed a reason to step out and save face, now would be an excellent time to do so.
Ira wouldn't have any issue seeing Kevin in the distance, with all that gold and leather on a person his size. He spotted Ira as well, gulping as the nerves began to set in. Did he expect to beat the First Pillar of the school? Of course not. Did the possibility of even touching Ira make Kevin want to pee his pants? Absolutely. However, "guts over fear" was something Kevin lived by---outside of life-threatening circumstances, Kevin would face danger rather than turn away from it. It often led to disastrous consequences...but he was a teenage boy, full of bravado with a chip on his shoulder. Besides, he came to learn something from Ira, since she was so eager to face someone.
"Uhh...yo." Kevin raised his right hand and waved awkwardly. "Y'know, I...I'm still wonderin' how I could, um...convince ya to teach me somethin'." He'd inhale sharply, exhale deeply and assumed his stance: fists clenched white-knickle tight up by his jaw with his right leg leading. She could see the uneasiness in his eyes start to erode...slowly, but surely.
"Maybe if I see ya at ya best, I'll learn somethin'."
Or so he thought, until Gino came running up. "Hey, you're...!"

Sitting on the roof with heavy breath Leon chuckled a bit as the speakers gave their message. The blonde partially covered in splattered droplets of blood, small bruises and cuts of his own, would erupt into a laugh, as he fell off his seat and onto the ground which also had it's own fashionable spray of crimson. He rolled a bit before stopping face to face with the unconscious and broken body of another student.
"Maybe I should watch this one... It's always nice when they grow into themselves, isn't it?"
He got no reply, but he stood overlooking the field of bodies that was once a rival gang operating on LG turf. They didn't even warrant Leon removing his weighted gear, it would be best to call them a flee if anything else compared to just the LG leader. Leon would move to the edge of the roof of the building and look about for the battle field that Ira no doubt prepared for this little brawl. A wide smile on his face.

"Smooth. Real smooth." The albino commented after hearing a familiar voice on the speakers. "Ira Defair." All the bitter sweet memories came rushing in on his train of thoughts, but no, it's not time to go all dramatic, it's a damn brawl and he's pumped up. Oh, and did I mention he's in the school rooftop? It was amazing for him to be back in his old rhyme as a student in just a couple of hours from his return.
Aldritch stood up and scanned the area below him, searching for any signs of a certain brunette. "Oh there you are. Ohohoho! Now I need a dramatic entrance." With that thought, Aldritch began to ascend from the rooftop and towards Ira as if he was running down an invisible flight of stairs. On his way down, Aldritch shouted. "Yo! I take your challenge. Probably won't win if I know myself well." He said with a smile. "Oh... and long time no see, eh?" Well of course, he was already prepared for whatever attack she may use on him, and Aldritch was 69% sure how it'll be a slap. "Oi! Leon! Bwahahaha! Long time no see too!" He began to shout as he turned towards his gang leader who was currently spectating them. Yup, Aldritch was still as insensitive as ever.

Post by Kazuya Hikari on May 1, 2016 2:09:48 GMT -5
Kazuya was starting to notice a trend here...
First he was the Pillar witness in Ira's challenge for Macht's title of School Captain, now he was the Pillar witness for the mass open brawl for her title of First Pillar that she had put up on the chopping block. His hands casually shoved into the pockets of his jeans, wearing a loose black tank top that left nothing to the imagination, he was here to simply watch and witness, nothing more, nothing less. Taking up a spot leaning against the wall far behind Ira, he would stay waaaaay out of the way of this fight, even though he was perfectly capable of defending himself.
"You all may begin, don't kill each other, or maybe you will, considering this is Ira, hope you have life insurance, etcetera, etcetera."
He could practically recite this by heart now. Either this mass brawl would end with a victor and a new First Pillar... or a pile of broken bodies, which Ira would proceed to sit on top of and possibly cackle, before burying everyone in coffins six feet under.

WE ARE ALL PART OF THE SAME SICK LITTLE GAMES ❝ Ira's eyebrows pulled together when she saw Gino striding towards her with fury on his face. Taking a single step back instinctively, she felt a derisive comment struggling to yank itself free from her scarlet lips, before her conscience stopped her. Surveying him for a few seconds, she turned around and replied with almost a musing voice.
"I didn't know we were familiar with each other."
Dismissing him, she turned to Kevin, even more taken aback by his choice of clothing. The gold and leather made her cringe slightly, and she barely comprehended what he was saying, hence her failure to reply immediately,
"If you don't want to fight, stand far, far, away, preferably on high ground." Ira said almost gently, but as she turned once more, the curl of her lips spoke of contempt, not compassion.
It took every fiber of her being to not speak in a growl, something that seemed strangely distorted from her tiny frame and low voice. The oddities in her company only served on to her irritation; the last person she genuinely wanted to see was Gino. His presence was a stinging slap to her face, and a harsh blockade in her ability to breathe. He was a intense sunburn, a fissure upon the very organ that mortals claim to be the core of every being--the heart.
If Ira even had something that possessed a vague resemblance to her heart, it was weighted under the mounts of anger and regret that seemed to multiply themselves unforgiving every day; each day bringing a bout of fresh threats to detonate themselves in her face.
However, before Ira could speak, a voice made her veins turn to ice.
The cold spread rapidly throughout her body, striking viciously in every bit of her that carried even the slightest capacity to feel. Her limbs were made of iron and steel; unbearably heavy, intensely hot, and terribly cold all at the same time. The words spoke to her made little sense, despite the amount of time she shuffled them restlessly about in her head like a desperate gambler trying to find bits and pieces of salvation in their loose change.
She put a coin in the change machine; nothing changed. She put her hopes in individuals that stomped all over them, and after, after all of that, when she finally lashed out and lacerated their memories with promises to pretend that their death were real, they came back and cruelly dispatched her illusions. A soda can manifested in her hand.
Ira turned around.
He was there. Right there, in flesh and bone, normalcy and indifference cloaking him with an undertone of jest. She shuffled her thoughts once more, trying to look for a single change that she could use, and at that very moment, all her cards, all her options promptly smothered and burned up into ashes. Her eyes darkened and sift through the multitude of these things-- the multitude of feelings, but attempting to grab any one of them resulted in a drastic failure. There was one last card, however, one last option, and Ira didn't want to let go of her illusions. She didn't want to let go of any of them.
"Do I know you?" Ira asked, confusion cruelly dispersing itself across her face. AND I NEED TO GET AWAY, GET AWAY. Gino Reisi `Alvari Aldritch Hexell Kazuya Hikari note: the fight shall commence in the next round or two.

Haven't you people ever heard of,
►❚❚ Anger is not something Gino is accustomed to, and when it hits him, he is left blinking in confusion because Gino cannot understand. He's never been good with emotions, and he rarely feels them strongly. So when the frustration at Ira's words course through him, he is equal parts pissed and confused.
Gino knows annoyance, the distaste in his mouth as he looks at people like one would flies, the itch of his trigger finger to get rid of the nuisances immediately so his mind can be calm and content once more. He knows rage, has felt it only once but experienced it so strongly he can still recall it; fury overtaking him like a tidal wave, the taste of blood on his tongue and the sharp promises of revenge left unspoken as he demanded carnage upon chaos, mayhem among madness, and most of all, a destruction that affected both him and the one across from him, drove him mad–
Anger is confusing though, because it simmers underneath, and there's a small part of him that wants to slam Ira against a wall and force her to admit she knows him but.
He left. And Gino knows enough of the world to know that is not an okay thing to do, so he takes out a breath and simply looks displeased. He knows better than to believe that his words wouldn't fall on death ears if he tries to protest, knows it like he knows the sun will set each day just as it will rise– Knows there's no point in doing things that won't do anything to help his situation, so he just takes a step back to study her, shrug a bit and respond with a, "We do, but you just won't admit it."
He's not stupid enough to think he could beat her easily, and he doesn't particularly want to. He just kind of wants to punch her a few times because he's angry and doesn't like how angry feels, wants those emotions that are riling him up right now to disappears like sand thrown in the wind. He won't mind fighting others either, just wants to ... Fight, and stop thinking for a while.
Gino's gaze turns to Kevin, the male whom he accidentally hit in the eye with an umbrella once, and nods his head as a greeting. "Are you going to fight her too? Also. No hard feelings if we end up fighting each other somehow, yeah?" A fight was just a fight after all, not something that should really affect relationships.
( He's not sure why he's making small talk. He's just kind of unsure about how to do mass brawls in general, because they seem to be waiting for something? Is etiquette to let Ira try and beat one of them up first? Gino really doesn't know. He also really doesn't want to give the chance for Ira to pummel him, so he keeps his eyes alert and posture ready to counter and fight and dodge. )

And just like that, in a snap, Aldritch's behavior seemed to have shifter from a loud childish nuisance to that of a serious man. His face shifted to a deadpan expression as he looked back at Ira who had seemed to ignore him. "Well, ain't I the big plot twist?" Aldrtich said as he saw Ira's expression change after he had entered the scene. He knew it was hard for her to see his sorry little face, it was best for both of them to move on and leave whatever happened in the past as past.
But enough about the nonsense, less drama, more action. "I'm not here for drama Ira. Oh, and sorry I forgot to bring a coffin, my bad. Is it required or?..." She's an enemy right now, and more or less, that's how she thinks of him right now. That's right, after just a few months of him missing, Aldritch learned how to block off any unnecessary emotions. There's a time to be cold and a time to be friendly, and it's time to be cold. "Now, come meet your new pillar... Probably... Hopefully..." He grinned. "That didn't sound as cool as I thought..."

| Siobhan's feet scuffed against the grass, her sneakers worn from the amount of walking she had been doing in San Francisco. Regardless, today she had actually shown up to school, somewhat buffering the black splotches on her truancy records, thankfully as well, considering a... special.. person of hers had announced a fight. Siobhan did not like this idea. At all. Sloane had disagreed with this choice, the hissing and spitting at her heels, increasing her anxiety despite the neutral face she donned. He did not want her to help Ira, he wanted her to help others kill her. Even so, Siobhan couldn't bring herself to do it, rather feeling overprotective of the others who wanted to claw her from the pedestal. For today, at least, the girl could play ally.
"Ira."
Siobhan called the name softly as she approached the side of the tree, opposite to Aldritch. Tension was high in the air, and Siobhan didn't need to ask to know that bad blood was about to be spilled on the ground. Preferably by Ira. The girl stopped and stared at the back of Ira, waiting patiently, but not making any threatening moves to reassure the girl that Siobhan was here for her. Whether or not she used her was another matter. Either way, Siobhan would make a good meat shield, and wouldn't take any particular offense to it either.

OH WHEN I CALLED HER EVIL, ❝ Before he could finish, Ira dismissed him with another flick of her fingers. Regarding him with an icy looks that pierced even the most hardened criminals, she turned her back to him. From a single glance, it would be immensely hard to miss the fact that she had changed, if not drastically. Her face became more defined; she grew slightly taller, she had curves, her eyes became darker, and her lips redder, but her personality didn't change--she still hated, and laughed at the most cruel aspects of the world. Dark and viciousness were the adjectives used to describe her movements when she whirled on Siobhan, startled and wary that someone might be attacking her from behind.
"So it's 4 against 1." Ira mused slightly, not surprised in any way whatsoever by her situation, refraining from herself from sounding too ostentatious or sarcastic. She was, however, startled when Siobhan did not make any moves to attack her.
A grimace became apparent on her face when she realized that she had to gaze upon Aldritch for longer than she would've liked (which was quite frankly, never), even if Ira focused her line of sight on the said female. The female didn't radiate any signs of aggression, something Ira found wholly uncommon with 552 students. The only other student that didn't wear violence like a cloak of kingship was Jude Liang, and even then--he was powerful.
'Get back if you are not fighting." Ira's brows furrowed slightly. "Even if someone planted a bomb in your gut and convince you to detonate it while we hug and giggle over my victory, I wouldn't recommend it." She huffed slightly as the tattoo on the top of her breasts began glowing brightly.
Likewise, in a clockwise direction, a silver barrier begin engulfing Ira Defaire while her eyes closed for a brief second. When she opened them once more, the irises transformed themselves into crimson. She exhaled and for once--faced reality.
"It's too bad you didn't bring your coffin." Ira said softly. "Previously, I wished you were dead." Showing her only indication that she still remembered bits and pieces of him. She stood perfectly still.

A quiet scrape of shoe against asphalt, as another punter showed up to the fray.
Jack came wearing a deepening frown, as his eyes roved over the battlefield and the assembled students. Open space, no terrain- this wasn't going to be easy. There was little here he could use to his advantage, which meant that the whole affair would likely come down to flying fists and attacks of opportunity, along with whatever weird powers these people brought to the table. He knew both Hexell and Ira used that kind of thing, but what about the others?
The move to San Francisco had left him feeling stressed out, disconnected. He'd hardly had a chance to get his bearings in the District, and now his whole life had been turned upside down again. To make matters worse, his interactions with others so far hadn't exactly gone brilliantly, and he still wasn't sure exactly where he stood, relative to all these others.
Today would be a chance to change all that. A fight. That was something Jack could understand, a medium he had been living and breathing almost his whole life. Today, he was going to get some catharsis, and start really figuring out the interpersonal dynamics of this new environment, in the best way possible.
By beating up everyone here.
Jack came to a stop near the possible exception to the above, the pillar Kazuya. The guy seemed fairly relaxed, and he had a good vantage point on the unfolding events, which Jack could share for now. He could have stayed closer, but that would have meant getting caught up in all the talking going on before things really got started, and he doubted that would do him much good. Jack could communicate well with his fists, but his tongue had a tendency to fail him when it mattered. He'd let the others sort out their drama, and move in when things really got started.
Problem was, he was getting impatient.
He glanced back at Kazuya, slightly suspicious. He'd said they could all start, right? Or was there some trick to this Jack didn't know about yet? Ira at least had started building up some kind of defense, but she wasn't making any moves. When were they going to get freaking started?
He huffed out a long breath. Whatever. Tensions could only build for so long. If someone didn't kick things off in a few more moments, he'd do it himself. He was particularly looking forwards to taking down Ira- she was the main event, after all -but without Qi, he didn't have the firepower to get away with engaging her directly and attracting everyone's attention. Those surrounding her, on the other hand... each of them was a viable target.
It felt good, to think in terms of tactics. Add this to the nice warm day, with a few clouds on the horizon and a slight breeze ruffling his hair like the touch of a gentle hand... it was almost a shame that this scene would dissolve into chaos mere moments later.
But it had to happen.
Rolling his shoulders and gripping his tonfa tightly in his right hand, Jack started walking forwards, heading in Ira's general direction. In his head, the countdown began. Five... four... three...

Kazuya watched.
Kazuya glanced over at Aldritch, so resurrection from the dead WAS possible.
Kazuya wondered what was for lunch.
He also wondered just who else was going to show up to this soiree. Some guy who apparently knew Ira, guy who killed the first door to the Pillar Office (Kevin), Jesus Hexell, Siobhan, and now blond guy from that strange event involving a timer.
Kazuya would remain at the wall, his arms casually folded across his chest, because he didn't feel like ending up six feet under in a coffin.

He knows it's suicide to take on her challenge as he knows how strong this little lady is. She won't hold back, she was furious at the albino, these are for sure. All of her frustrations would end up being violently thrown at him. Looking back, he'd speak to Gino and Kevin. "I'd suggest to stand back, she's way outta your leagues." Yup, he's suicidal. He had already lost everything, might as well do anything to at least gain something, he has nothing to loose anyway.
"I'll regret this... No matter what the outcome may be..."
The albino's whole body began to glow a bright orange hue, sweat attempted to counter his body heat only to be turned into steam that would raise from his body. He won't be fucking around this time.
Without a word, Aldritch then began to charge towards Ira with both hands at his back, ignoring anyone else besides her. Once he's close enough, both fists would be sent straight to her face.

Well, things got too fucking lit in too little time.
Ira was drawing swords out of nowhere, people were shuffling in and Kevin started to wonder if he should have just stayed and finished up his homework. Kevin didn't know much of Aldritch yet, but the fact that Ira seemed to recognize him (combined with his looks) probably had good enough chances and could seriously stand up against whatever got Ira into the Pillar position to begin with. Next came another girl who seemed to be here as an ally to the 1st Pillar. Wouldn't have thought somebody would come to back 'er up. Somewhere in him, he could appreciate it---the idea of the Pillars being these four lonesome sentinels spoke of their power but not who they were...whether Ira wanted the help or not, it said something in Kevin's mind for Siobhan to step up like she did.
Kevin's attention turned to Gino, explaining how if hands were thrown at each other, it was nothing personal---Kevin's eyeball took exception to such. In all seriousness, however, Kevin was beginning to dislike even showing up. He originally came to try and get a lesson or two out of Ira, not even comsidering how many people actually arrived with the real intent to fight for her position. This could devolve into a rumble at any second...and as much as Kevin didn't enjoy fighting, he knew this was the last thing he needed to be doing. His mind was already playing a loop of his mother's tirades about how fighting would get Kevin thrown behind bars again or worse...but it seemed at this point, he was going to throw hands with someone here. Kevin frowned a little and nodded at Gino to show his understanding of such.
So why not have the boy be the first?
A sudden spark of intensity in Kevin's eyes served as a cue for Gino to prepare himself. Right after, Kevin dashed in Gino's direction, planting his left foot mid-run before lining up a swift right uppercut. It was telegraphed and Gino would have little issue avoiding it. Kevin just wanted to test the water before he dove in.
