A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

The apartment wasn't lavish.
In fact, it was downright Spartan from the room Tempus usually kept. And while the more optimistic side of her was thankful that there was a roof over her head and nothing more was being done to inflate her already bloated criminal record, the dark suited man with the cliché sunglasses in the room was doing all he could to make that violent side they claimed she had to burst fourth and obliterate him from the face of the Earth. The rational part of her knew, however, that this man was just doing his job. He was impassive as he spoke, sounding almost bored as he listed off everything she needed to know about her new 'life' here in New York.
“The Senator will be keeping up on your progress,” he continued on, Tempus barely hearing him as she stared out the window that, surprisingly, had a pretty decent view. “He is being kept appraised of your time at PHS 552 and since you're here under his generosity-”
“Why?” Tempus asked, speaking out loud for the first time since they'd dragged her to her new accommodations. She received no response and so she turned, mismatched eyes locking onto what she assumed was the the man's own orbs. The slight tilt of his head told the dark skinned woman that he didn't seem to understand the question. “I mean why is he keeping up with me? He's the one trumping up all those charges and shit cause I fucked his wife. Figured that sumbitch would wanna toss me in a cell and forget about me.”
There was a pregnant pause before the man continued. “You will need a job, of course, as one will not be provided for you. There are rations here in the kitchen that will last you a short time but nothing more will be brought to you. In regards to your new school...”
Tempus sighed, though she didn't really know what to expect. The whole thing had been a huge fiasco from the start but she knew herself. Tempus loved her a cougar and the Senator's wife was a predator that had no problem luring you into a trap of your own free will. And, in truth, Tempus had made the Senator's accusations all too easy, what with her broken past, criminal record and history of fighting for money. He probably didn't even need to grease more than a few palms to stick her in her new prison. She just couldn't figure out why, when throwing her into a prison would have probably cost less and have been easier to off her on the inside.
It was the sound of the door closing that made Tempus blink a few times before she looked around. The man was gone, thank god, and only the silence remained. She had no television and the phone she had wasn't one of the fancy smart phones everyone seemed to have now-a-days. Still, it was practical and it had been provided for her. Which means, of course, that she'd never use it. She really had no clue if they would ever tap her phone but Tempus wasn't going to find out. She turned it off, took out the SIM card and tossed both in a kitchen drawer before slumping down in a chair in the sparse kitchen. She stared off into the distance for awhile before popping to her feet again and stretching.
“Welp, might as well get to know the route to this school,” she muttered, pursing her lips as she looked down at her ankle and glaring at the small device that was attached to it. “Not like I can go anywhere else.”
Tempus grabbed her hoodie and threw it on before she walked out of the door and into the New York day. It was still early so mayhaps there was a way she could check this place out before she went there, maybe get a tour from a staff member or something. She didn't know much about school in general, having never went, but really...how bad could it be?

Today unlike most days Steven was actually in a rush. He liked to be early to school, and would not let recent event prevent him from doing so. He got up and dressed, which was awkward in his injured state, getting his pant on had been the hardest part due the cast on one leg and the stitched up other leg. However soon enough Steven was up dressed, a walking stick in hand. It had been a long time since he had to use it, however today he did. The walk to school was a trail. However he would still arrive earlier then most. However when he reached the school gates he couldn't go any longer and lent up against the wall for a bit to catch his breath and give his legs a break. By the time Tempus turned up at the gates, she would be greeted with the result of just how bad this school could be. Steven leaning there, his cast and walking stick obvious to the eye and obviously a bad injury at that. Now Steven by no means knew every student who came to school, it would have been impossible to do so. However the school from what he had seen had a extremely large proportion of white and Asian students. This meant, those of darker skin stuck out in his mind a little more, because from his point of view they had been rare. It was because of this that, Steven looked up and would start to watch her. Wondering if she was new, or just someone he hadn't noticed because he was always to busy having his nose buried in a book.

Kenji had a rather eventful morning today. He'd woken up early when he accidentally rolled off of his bed onto the floor, bumping his forehead and his nose. That'd wake up most people. It didn't help that he'd whacked his head on the frame of his bed on his way back to his feet, meaning overall, he was sporting a lovely headache. His usual shower didn't really help, though it soothed his nose a bit.
His breakfast as well was spectacular. Kenji opened his refrigerator to find that he was low on his foodstocks and would need to go shopping, meaning he would need to go out after school and fix that. For now, however, he forced himself to leave early for the donut shop that was on the way to 552, as if he hung around like he usually did, he'd be late for class. He received some good fortune there, because they had some of his favorite golden chocolate donuts, fresh-baked. Content with this, he picked up three and ate one before he got out the door.
By the time Kenji had made it to the gate, he'd polished off his last donut, and was in the process of pulling out a bottle of ibuprofen from his pocket and popping two pills. He pocketed the bottle as he unscrewed and took a swig from his water, then set up shop against the wall, not far from a student holding a cane and looking rather beat up. Wonder what happened to him? Obviously something worse than banging your head twice in a row. Among Kenji's interests was the dark-skinned young lady in a hoodie whom he didn't recognize. He was growing accustomed to the same faces, even if he didn't know most of their names, but this one was new, and rather attractive. Though he certainly took in the sight, he made it a point not to look like he was staring, because that'd be, well... Creepy.

The walk to the school was mercifully short and Tempus' mind was quick to map out and memorize the route she'd take to the place. There was a slight detour taken due to a nearby doughnut shop that had pulled (yanked, really) at her sweet tooth and the cream filled bear claw was devoured with much gusto, much to the delight of the girl behind the counter. After chatting her up for a few minutes to ask about any possible job inquiries in the area, Tempus moved on to the school and stopped outside the opened gate and took it all in.
She'd heard about school from her fellow clan members and it all sounded so...fake. She twitched her lips as she tried to find the words she felt at the moment. Sure, she knew that a school is where people were educated in all sorts of subjects and for once in her life Tempus was happy that her elders had taught her how to read, write and do basic math. She thought the subjects useless but apparently it was a standard practice for any orphaned children The Cat's Paw would take in. At the age of five Tempus would throw the most spectacular of tantrums in being taught anything but, years later, she was happy for it.
Now, however, she felt a churning in her stomach she couldn't quite explain.
Looking around the place seemed quite empty and she was glad for it. She spotted what seemed to be a handicapped fellow with a cane that looked like he lost a fight (maybe two) that was resting against the wall that surrounded the school. She also saw another kid, this one tall who seemed to be simply standing there, waiting and minding her own business. She was closer to the redheaded injured one so Tempus took a few steps towards his direction. She wanted a tour of the facility and if he was a student maybe she could ask if he could give her any information he might have on the place, as well as show her around before class started. Tempus nodded firmly before stopping before him.
“Hey, you look like shit run over twice. You okay?”
Or, you know...that. That works. Yeah.

Steven looking at the dark skinned girl, saw that she was coming over to him. For the sake of being polite, he pushed himself up from the wall and stood as straight as he could, putting the cane to the ground in order to help him stand. He chuckled at the girl words and nodded his head at her.
"Oh I don't know..." Steven started to speak, in that feigned unsure tone people used when considering something, they already had decided or knew the answer too. "What hit me, way worse then getting run over." Steven half joked. In the back of his mind wondering, if Mikey had thrown something the size of a car, if he would be dead rather then just having a broken leg from it.
"I'm fine though, I've taken worse." Steven reassured her, smiling. "Thank for the concern though. So I ain't seen you around before. Are you new, or am I just blind to beauty?" Steven asked, grinning and then blushing. The only thing that normally held back his charming words were the way his body reacted to them.
However before she could answer, Steven looked up and quickly added. "Rosett..my name I mean." He said, forcing the blush from his face and looking to his side, finally noticing the other man nearby.

Kenji absently rubbed his sore head's temple as he continued scanning the grounds while passing the time. Soon enough, he heard a rather blunt question off toward his side, where the dude with the cane was leaning against the wall as well. “Hey, you look like shit run over twice. You okay?” He had to force himself not to laugh. It was a ridiculously rude thing to compare someone to, but from her tone, he could assume that she didn't mean to be rude. It's just how the inquiry came out.
Listening to the two begin to converse, Kenji felt like his day was getting better. He was finding amusement in mundane conversation instead of incurring further head injuries. Now if the ibuprofen would just do its job already...
"Thank for the concern though. So I ain't seen you around before. Are you new, or am I just blind to beauty?" That did it. Kenji let out a mirthful snort, unable to fully contain himself. He in no way was mocking Mr. Cane, but was caught off-guard by the cheesiness of his pickup line, or what he took to be a pickup line. It was rich. Shortly after that, as Kenji managed to regain his composure, he realized that the student - and possibly the new girl - was looking at him. He chuckled and rubbed his temple again. "I apologize, did I disturb you?"

“New here,” Tempus muttered, looking back at the school thoughtfully. She didn't miss the compliment but since she really didn't know what to say about it she only acknowledged it with a slightly raised eyebrow. “And, uh...name's Tempus. Tempus Rose. Nice ta meetcha Rosett.”
The light snort did, however, catch the attention of both of them and Tempus turned her head slightly to see the other, taller boy sort of snerking to himself. The dark skinned woman now raised an eyebrow at this one, though she pretty much knew what he was chuckling at. Rosett did sort of toss out an epic cheese of a pick up line but, in his defense, at least he tried. He couldn't know that she didn't bat for their team.
“Somethin' funny there Chuckles?” Tempus smirked, tilting her head a little to show her amusement. “Or maybeh yer blind ta other things instead of beauty. Say, manners?”

Steven raised a eye brow and ears perked up in amusement when the girl introduced herself, another person with Rose in the surname. He didn't meet many. He had been about to speak up and welcome her to the school. The girl spoke back at the other guy, the one who had snorted at his line. Flipping his line around and using it against Kenji like a sword of words.
"Well anyway welcome to 552 Tempus." Steven said turning to her, before looking at the other guy again. Steven had seen the guy around school before, however he couldn't recall ever really talking to the guy. "Glad to see I ain't the only one who like to turn up early." He commented to the both of them, and then let himself fall back again to lean on the wall.

(( OOC: Kind of a short post, I admit. ))
Kenji found himself questioned by the new student, to which he chuckled, once more out of amusement. She had a certain fire to her personality that he enjoyed seeing out of people. "Of course not, I'm well-acquainted with manners. Unfortunately, not everybody can keep their composure at all times when they hear something they find funny. No offense meant, of course," Kenji ended as he looked toward Steven.
When the cane-sporting student commented about their earliness, Kenji offered him a light smile and shook his head. "It's not that I don't like to be early, but usually, I'm here another ten or so minutes from now. Rough morning, you see..."

Tempus merely nodded at Rosett's welcome and gave a sideways glance at the others comments. She decided that she would call him chuckles even when he decided that giving his name would go along with those manners he claimed he had. She pursed her lips a moment before taking down her hoodie and shaking her head from side to side to get her hair out from underneath it. The two other students were chatting which gave her a second to take a couple steps forward towards the school. It didn't look like a bad place, though one could hardly judge a book by it's cover. A small sigh later and Tempus had turned back to the others with a curious look on her face.
“So,” she began, scrunching her eyebrows as if she was trying to figure out how to form her next words, then jerked a thumb behind her towards the school. “I, uhhh...I've never really been ta school before. Taught by otha folks and all. Heard all sortsa rumors 'bout this place though. How's about you peeps gimmie da tour an' tell me the lowdown on how the place be run?”

Steven raised a eyebrow as Tempus mentioned that she had in the past been home schooled. Wondering what had forced her to finally attend a public school. Damn her luck of a school choice really wasn't good. However at her requested, Steven pushed up from the wall and walked slightly ahead of her slowly, due to his legs and stopped and turned back to her. Starting to speak and give her the low down as he pointed.
"3 story main building, 2 story side building." He started pointing them out. "Simple stuff, different classes depending on the building, as for how the place are run. You've probably heard from rumour then about the pillars. I know a couple of them, Third pillar, Vivi and First pillar Shugo are okay. Avoid trouble and well they won't cause you much hassle. Under them you have the regulators, basically in school police for putting down issues." Steven explained.

Kenji shoved off of the wall about the same time as Steven did, though he remained stationary for the moment. Listening to the young man's explanation, he nodded along in confirmation. At the end, he shoved his hands in his pockets and regarded Tempus with a curious glance. "It's much as he says. You'll generally want to keep your head down, unless you plan to get strong enough to go blow for blow with a big shot. As for the Regulators, they'll leave you alone if you don't stand out as a headcase."
He paused, pondering for a moment. "Incidentally, this school's had some interesting events go on lately. Gangs attacking and trying to break the system and such... I don't know too much about it," Kenji fibbed, though not much. His knowledge of the events were limited to his research and his own personal experience, so by no means was he an expert on the subject. "My name is Kenji, by the way. Miyamoto Kenji. I'm no one special, but if you need help with anything, come find me and I'll do what I can." He nodded with a smile to the new girl, as well as to Steven.

She couldn't quite place her finger on it but Tempus knew there was something just a bit off about this school.
Granted all she knew about “real” school was based on second hand information she got from other students while being trained to be a thief by teachers twenty years her senior. She got varying reports about what went on how how the whole overall thing was structured but one thing remained the same; nothing in the stories she'd heard involved fighting, 'pillars', gangs, school police or any of what Rosett or Kenji (who finally introduced himself) were talking about. It seemed almost combat centric and, really, Tempus didn't know how to feel about that. She quirked her lips from side to side before taking a few steps forward towards the school and stopping.
The layout of any building was an important prospect to know for any aspiring thief, especially if said thief was going to be spending a prolonged period of time in that building. It had become something of an obsession with Tempus, to know the in and outs of any given structure she was placed in. Which was why, of course, her current apartment was going to be fully scouted as soon as she found the time. It was impossible for her to live somewhere and not know just how she could escape should the need arise, and at least three different ways needed to be known before she felt even remotely safe. All these thoughts flashed her mind in an instant before Tempus huffed lightly and took the steps back to the other students and reached out and grabbed bother of their wrists and lightly tugged.
“Show, dun tell. Anyone ever tell ya'll that?” Tempus crinkled her nose as she looked between her two companions. “Now come on you to. I'll be Frodo. Rosett, you be Samwise. Kenji...” she looks the tall man up and down. “Ya look like a fool of a Took. Now show me dis place so we can toss a ring into a mountain, savvy?”

Steven chuckled at Kenji words and lifted the cane as to make a point as he spoke. "I know to much, count yourself lucky." Steven said to Kenji and then listened as Tempus made comment of them showing her around, instead of speaking about stuff. Steven smiled at the lord of the rings references. He had read both the book and watched the movies, and in his mind the movies made those books worth it. The lord of the rings in book form was overly descriptive to the point of being boring, a trilogy of what could have been one book instead.
"Well I guess that make half the student body taking the role of the Balrog." Steven said, it was amusing to him, however he didn't care if they got it really. "Come on then, you wanna see not be told, I bet the kitchen and cafeteria hasn't been fully repaired yet." He said and then turned slowly heading towards the main buildings doors to lead the way. Even if they didn't follow Steven wanted to see it himself.

Kenji chuckled, in part at Steven's suggestion to count himself as lucky, and Tempus using Lord of the Rings references. Today was looking to be a far better day than he had anticipated when he had his rude awakening. "If you don't mind, I might work double duty as a Brandybuck. Those two are more or less inseparable, after all," he quipped with an amused smile. Nonetheless, he nodded in agreement with Steven's closing statement, and made to follow alongside him, matching his pace with the cane-walker's to avoid speeding ahead.
