A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Tempus nodded as they both decided to finally come along. The mention of a cafeteria from Rosett made her stomach growl in an almost comically loud manner, though the thief really didn't have the decency to even look embarrassed by it. Mismatched eyes eyes narrowed a bit as she patted her stomach as if trying to placate a growling beast. Sure she just had some doughnuts but Tempus wasn't known for turning down free food...well, she hoped it was free anyways, cause she was pretty sure neither of her new companions wanted to pay for her and she really didn't want to start off their friendship by stealing their wallets.
But if it came to that she would. Cause, you know...hungry.
“School sounds violent,” Tempus started, stuffing her hands into her back pockets as she strolled along with the two boys. “I was kinda thrust into my current...uh, situation, so I'm not all filled in with tha specifics about tha place. And you two've been here awhile, yeah? Fill a sista in about how tha place works. If'n I'm gonna get all situated and shit I need to know the dealio. Rosett, you got an oddly soothing voice. Tell me the first half. Kenji, you're not as annoying as I originally thought you were.” A beat, followed by a smirk at the tall boy. “Tell me the second half.”

Steven smiled to himself, out of view of the others at the compliment giving. The accent at work it seems, it didn't work as well as people may think, but at least it got some notice. Leading the way Steven would indeed tell the first half, occasionally looking over his shoulder as he did.
"Yeah the school is violent indeed. In fact it goes beyond clique culture really, you various of small time gangs and groups of friends, all out for themselves. However you do have you occasional dangerous one. Riot comes to mind, they came into the school and tried taking over are breaking some of the larger groups, and by the most part they pulled it off. However it seems the key members in the school have been taken down for now. Was how I got hurt."

Spunky. That was the term that came to mind when Kenji pondered Tempus further. She was spunky, and a refreshing change from the usual students he met. Bianca still had a lead on her, but given time, you never know what could happen. He decided to keep that to himself, however.
As Steven appeared to finish the aformentioned 'first half,' Kenji picked up with his own viewpoint for the second half. "So far, beyond Riot, there aren't too many dangerous gangs out and about. I have, however, noticed that smaller gangs of wannabe punks have gotten more active of late with Riot's fall from grace." Though this information might be out of reach for Steven, the easterner's firsthand experience with Bianca recently had enlightened him to some previously unknown details regarding the aftermath. "Still, there are some good gangs from what I hear. AURA touts themselves as the diplomatic arm of the school; they were involved with one of the Riot incidents, specifically the throwdown at the docks. I say diplomatic, but if push comes to shove, it seems like they can hold their own." He paused, pondering how well AURA was doing. Kenji wasn't privy to any of their identities, but he imagined with his luck, he might know one or two of them. Perhaps it could pay to have a word about their clique.
"At the end of the day, much like the various kinds of yakuza of my homeland, gangs are still gangs; associating with one will make you both friends and enemies, because you can't please everyone. If you want longevity in this school, my suggestion would either be to join a capable group to rely on and be relied upon in turn, or stay neutral and minimize your possible number of enemies. That's worked out well for me so far, but everybody's different, right?"

The information was...oddly disturbing.
While the reality was that Tempus didn't know much of anything about schools in general, she did read books, much to the surprise of anyone that knew her. She'd read the portrayal of how schools functioned from numerous texts and while she knew right off the bat that what she was reading had no interest to her, this...this was more along her speed. Mixing up learning with fighting and a 'rule amongst yourselves' mentality seemed almost perfect for someone raised as she was. She guessed that there were rules, of course, otherwise anarchy would reign supreme and while that would probably be exciting for awhile Tempus was certain it would get boring real fast. And so she assimilated the information as much as she could, nodding as they reached the cafeteria Rosett had been leading them too.
“Ya know, I gotta say...” the thief began as she followed Rosett to get the promised food. “This place seems like where ya drop off kids who are, shall we say...troublesome. Kids ya don't want ta be bothered with but need ta keep somewhere till they grow old enough to be shunned away on tha streets. Like me; I landed here cause I stole a Senator's, shall we say, precious jewels. Din' like the way they lay on me, I suppose. But you two?”
She eyed Rosett and Kenji up and down a moment before flashing a crooked grin, mismatched eyes dancing with mirth.
“You two look like the exact opposite a trouble. And if dis place is a sanctuary for the discarded souls of tomorrow, what landed your asses here?”

"Look can be deceiving." Steven replied and then laughed. He wasn't really trouble, unless forced that was true. "Basically did something and I was kicked out of my home. Ended up in the city, and my cousin set me up. This was the closest school, and the easiest to get in at short notice. To be honest, it's bad but could be worse." He explained, yeah people could be out to kill him. Steven shook the thought away.
Once Steven was done, speaking he turned to face Kenji, wondering if the other man would answer the girls question.

Kenji listened attentively both to Tempus's bush-beating up until her question to both young men, and to Steven's brief explanation of his reasons for being in this school. Seemed like the cane-walker had a fairly simple reason with vague details behind it. He nodded at the end, just as Steven was turning to look at him, most likely in expectation of the easterner's own answer.
Well, he still lacked enemies here, and he highly doubted this info could be used against him...
Turning toward Tempus while keeping Steven within his line of sight, Kenji offered a small smile as he begun. "Some wannabe yakuza - and I do mean wannabe - perceived me as having done them wrong in the past. They took two of my sisters hostage and threatened death on them if I didn't surrender. I beheaded one of their leaders and mutilated the other. The rest gave up and released my sisters." He nodded once again at the end, curiously showing no signs of remorse, guilt, or regret on his face. In truth, none of the above existed in his heart: he did what he felt was necessary to protect his beloved family, at the risk of doing time here in 552. There was nothing for him to be ashamed of.

Tempus had always enjoyed her food.
She's bee one of the lucky ones, blessed with high metabolism. Of course she was always more physical than her other fellow thieves and eating a plateful of food in a comically short amount of time was the norm for her. Her feeling was that she wasn't trying to impress anyone here and if by some freak accident her future soulmate were to see her with a mouthful of pancakes she would forgive the dark skinned woman and pass that action off as a quirk. It was, to a degree, but Tempus knew that one day she'd have to stop her gorging eating habits for something more...public friendly. Luckily, now was not one of those times. Breakfast was, after all, her favorite mealtime of the day.
So the thief had no problems stacking her plate full of pancakes, eggs, sausages and a couple of glasses of orange juice. She looked at the meal with a satisfied nod. It would suffice.
“Well, I guess everyone here has a story, yeah?” Tempus said in a offhand manner as she watched the other two get their food and sat down at the nearest table. “Though if I was ratin' stories I'd say Kenji wins cause it has the most bloodshed. And, really, who doesn't like a good action flick, yeah? Rosett, yer more of a drama. Good sometimes but I think tha chicks would dig that story more.” A beat. “So...ya'll fight then, right? What styles?”

Steven rolled his eyes when Tempus made comment on there stories, however that wasn't the main thing that had grabbed his attention. No Kenji's story had. Steven felt a little unsettled, with how easily the other guy spoke of killing others. To protect family, Steven could understand why someone would do such a thing. However he personality felt some level of regret should always be present at the idea of being force to take a life. Kenji would be one too keep his eyes on. Anyone who could speak the calmly of death, well it seemed like a good idea.
Even so though, Steven would force those thoughts aside for now. In order to reply to Tempus question. "Something of my own devices, well when no alternative presents itself." He said, he could of gone in to a explanation of however, Steven saw no need to do so.
