A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Alioth just finished her first half or her first day at school and was just starting her lunch, carrying her violin in it's case. As she looked into the crowd of people heading in the same cycle every day, Alioth tried to find any of the faces she had met in class. There were a handful of faces seen, but none of them were particularly familiar to her. Taking out her lunch, two biscuits with a jar of jam and a canister of tea, she continued to look at the groups, clusters, and cliches coming in. She met a lot of people in the first few hours of the day, but most of them seemed bitter and cold. She hummed to herself quietly as she spread the jam out

Lunch time had arrived, and for Kyou it was just a small break in the day that would give him a chance to study or do something of the sort. Spending time away from the other students certainly had it's advantages. After all, Kyou wasn't very... liked among most of his peers. And sure, there was a thousand reasons as to why. Kyou didn't question it, but still... He was walking through the cafeteria when he noticed a student--probably a new arrival--spreading out jam and biscuits. Huh.
There didn't seem to be anyone in particular sitting nearby, and she seemed like she wasn't the type that would punch him in the face merely for existing, so she seemed safe enough for him to ask... Kyou approached the girl and gestured to the seat next to her, asking, "Do you mind if I sit here?"

Alioth looked up to see a smart looking boy right by her. She stared at him for a few seconds, then looked down, reminding herself that staring is rude. Looking back up, Alioth was surprised to see how young he was. She nodded politely and moved her things to the other side so the boy would have some room and continued to stare at the ground. Maybe she was wrong about this school. Maybe there were nice people.
"...er....um...There you go." She said quietly and somewhat awkwardly with a sincere smile, and had a small wonder about why someone so young would be doing here in a school for delinquents.

Kyou would give a small smile and say, "Thanks." He'd take his seat and then get out a small juice box, take off the straw and puncture the opening. Sipping on the juice, he'd pretty much just stare on ahead, not wanting to creep her out. But still... he knew she was watching him. She seemed nice enough, but also quite awkward... then again, most shy people were upon coming to this school. He wondered what caused her to attend this school. Then again, he'd learned not to judge. You can never judge someone based on their appearance, after all...
He would glance over to the girl and quietly say, "Uh... yeah, I know I'm small. You don't need to stare--it's not that strange." Then again, perhaps it was. It was odd that he was so young, and that he seemed so nice and was attending this school... After all, if someone were really so smart as to skip grades--why would they be at a school for delinquents?? But Kyou was so used to being made fun of for being small that he'd almost stopped seeing it as being a strange thing. Then again, she probably was just new--and he knew nothing about her. Maybe being so small was strange, especially considering the circumstances. Kyou stopped, realizing what he'd said and he gave a small chuckle. "Actually... maybe it is. My name's Kyou, what's yours?" He'd ask.

Alioth's face flushed red when kyou pointed out that she didn't need to stare and saying that it wasn't that strange. "Sorry..s-sorry.." She would say, embarrassed. She looked up slowly and nodded. 'Kyou...so maybe he had Japanese heritage..?' She thought to herself, still feeling a bit awkward and embarrassed. 'What would father do in this situation. No...he would say just be polite and smile' she thought. Taking a deep breath, she straightened up and gave smiled sincerely.
"I think that's a wonderful name Kyou. My name is Alioth, Alioth Algol, it's ver nice to meet you." She said, spreading the jam all the while

Kyou blinked. A wonderful name...? He bit down on the straw to his juice box, stifling a laugh. She must not be familiar with things related to Japan. After all, "Kyou" was a girl's name. "Thanks," he'd simply say. "It's nice to meet you too... and, uh, sorry about the 'short' thing. You seemed to be staring a bit, and my height is usually the first thing pointed out... I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable by getting so defensive. I shouldn't have." He'd adjust his glasses, somewhat curious why she liked jam so much... most people didn't seem to. At least, so far as he'd seen, anyway. Probably just some type of comfort food for her--nothing to get curious about. That's what he guessed.

Alioth continued to smile. Jam. She loved that stuff. Some of the happier memories came with making those tasty fruit preservatives wih her father. She had a minor blankout where she absentmindedly continued to spread the jam, then blink a few times looking confused, then continued to smile like nothing happened.
"No, it's my fault really Kyou, I forgot that staring is rude, I'm in the wrong here.." She said, smiling and was embarrassed at her mistake.
"Do you have any hobbies or want some jam?" She asked, trying to make up and lighten the mood.

Kyou would shake his head. "Oh, no... Staring's not all that rude," he'd say quietly. "After all, you can't help but to have your eyes wander--it doesn't harm anyone if something happens to catch your fancy and you observe it intently. I, myself, happen to stare quite a bit..." Kyou shrugged. "There's nothing rude about it, but maybe that's just my opinion..." When Alioth would offer some jam to him, he'd give a light smile and shake his head. "No thanks, I wouldn't want to take your jam from you. You seem quite fond of it," he gave a small chuckle.

Alioth listened intently at Kyou's opinion. A wandering was natural, and staring wouldn't normally hurt someone. Maybe a person may get upset about it occasionally, but Alioth would still keep her eyes to herself for the next few days. She nodded her head slightly, agreeing to his opinion. Kyou was pretty smart about things, and Alioth felt that he was honest with his opinions too.
When the jam was mentioned. Alioth's face lit up and smiled, but she put her down her head and looked down, letting her hair fall down, remembering the good memories with her father.
"Yeah.... Jam... I used to make it with my father. And toys..." She said nostalgicly, her smile still on her face.

Kyou would give a small nod. "I see," he said quietly. "That would make sense, then..." After all, it was only natural. People often grew attached to things that reminded them of fond memories. That's the way it was. Just like how people tried to avoid things that brought up bad memories. Her voice was so quiet, and gave off a feel of nostalgia that Kyou wondered if her father was even around anymore. Maybe he wasn't, and jam reminded her of him. If that were the case, Kyou could surely understand. After all, he liked to consider himself heartless, but it was undeniable that he did have some sense of empathy in him. "So... you're a toymaker, then? What kids of toys did you use to make?" He asked, curious. He'd never really met a toymaker before--at least, not that he knew of. Toys weren't something he was too familiar with, unless it was the basic mechanics that were used to create a wind-up mouse that would race around. But that was because he liked mechanisms and seeing how things worked.
In fact, Kyou could hardly remember many things about toys. He never really played with them much when he was a child. He was always reading, learning the violin, or following his father around. Sometimes he'd play with his friends, or goof off with the President of Japan's son. Looking back now, Kyou thought it was all so childish and stupid of him. He shouldn't have even done those things. He should have always been studying--or doing something more productive than playing. But... at the same time, it made Kyou feel somewhat nostalgic too. And a small fragment of him wished he could go back to those times... to the days he spent as a child before he truly started to grow up...

Alioth brushed back the hair behind her ear and looked up, but still didn't have eye contact with Kyou for the moment. She smoothed the jam out and remembered all the times she showed her father the carvings and products she made, and his proud face. Those were the good times, before she was sent here.
"We made all sorts of toys Kyou. Wind up toys, dolls, stuffed animals, puppets, any kind of toy. I just liked to see the younger kids smile." She said, with a bright look on her eye. "I'm sorry, that sounded impractical and stupid..." She added, a little embarrassed about why she liked to make toys so much. The only other time she told people about her job was a bunch of older kids, but they laughed at her and called it stupid. Alioth liked to see all the gears move and tick.

"Impractical and stupid, hm?" He repeated quietly. He shrugged. "There's nothing wrong with it," he said. "It's just what you're interested in, correct? I'm in no place to act judgemental just because you like to work with toys and bring smiles onto childrens' faces..." He gave a small sigh and then said, "In fact, I think it's quite admirable..."

Alioth's eyes looked up from he biscut she was staring at while she was explaining. Admirable? Alioth looked a bit confused, but then gave the same sincere smile. Maybe it was just a compliment, but it was pretty much the first nice thing she had seen at the hell school.
"You really think it's an admirable thing? That's really sweet of you. Thank you" she said, then a thought bubbled up in her head. Gathering up her confidence she decided to try and ask Kyou something for a change.
"Er...um.....uh.... You seem like a pretty nice person Kyou. How did you end up in a place like this? I'm sorry if I'm prying at anything you're sensitive about" she said, saying the last part a bit faster then the first part and looked down at her biscuit.

Kyou tapped his cheek. "Me? Sensitive? I'd like to think not..." He said. Truth was, he was pretty touchy about some things, but people rarely ever questioned why he attended this school... Well, truth was, people rarely ever talked to him quite so casually anyway. But, he decided to answer her question, even if she didn't quite like how he replied to it... "Well, you see... it's a very long story." He smiled lightly. "And quite boring, too. To put simply..." He thought about it, trying to put it into simple words. He wasn't supposed to talk about it, but if he was vague he didn't see the harm in it. So he bluntly said, "I got into some trouble that was bad enough to be exiled from my own home and country." He smiled rather innocently. "Does that answer your question? And why I decided to attend this school particularly? Well... I wanted to."

Alioth listened about the short summary of Kyou's story. ' Exiled...?' Alioth thought. 'Why would someone banish and exile someone, for anything..?' She wondered. And he was here by choice? In a way Alioth was the same, choosing to be here. Perhaps Kyou had his own personal agenda here. She wouldn't ask why though, Alioth felt that she had already pried enough into his life.
"You came here by choice...? Sounds really brave to me. Kind of like a knight I guess.?" She said, trailing off into her own line of thought. The endless cycle which they live by until their bodies will expire and go to wherever their afterlife was. She took a bit of her biscut and continued to stare off into space, thinking.
