Shes... Shes blushing? Wow.
He was happy to see that she got what he was saying. He knew that he could be a bit corny at times, but being a hopeless romantic was who he was, and those kind of comments always worked in the movies. "Yep, Reds always been my favorite color. Its the hair color of my mother and brother. It kind of shows our Irish heritage even thought I don't have that hair color." He would let out a chuckle as he continued to watch the priceless expression on her face.
"Black and Blue huh, thats a pretty good combinations." Whenever Musashi thought about colors he always associated them with how well they looked with other colors. He himself like the color black when combined with the color Red. It reminded him of his favorite sports team, but none of the was relevant right now. "So.. I have a random question. Have you ever had a.... Boyfriend before? Not that I am... Umm, trying to be yours, but... I dont know just something to talk about I guess." His eyes would close in disbelief after asking the question. He couldn't believe he would ask such a thing, but his curiosity got the best of him.

Ruby gave a nod when he clarified he'd always liked the color. She thought it was interesting that he had Irish heritage, she would never have guessed that... then he asked about a boyfriend. "Um..." She said. The word was unfamiliar to her in the English language. She was pretty good with most words and phrases, and she tried to use the context to figure out what that meant... After all, English wasn't her first language. "Um... that's like... that'd be the equivalent to 'my little friend', wouldn't it?" She asked. A boy friend obviously was a friend that was a boy, but the way he said it made her feel like there was more to it. In French, there were boyfriends and girlfriends, but they were referred to as 'ma petite ami' or whatever gender the partner was. The translation was pretty much, "My little friend", but it meant the same thing. "Um... or it's something like that, right? I'm fluent in English, but I suppose there's a few modern phrases I don't quite understand..." She explained.

Musashi could tell that there was a chance that things could probably take an awkward turn for the worst. It was already bad enough that he made a bold call by asking her that. Now she didn't even understand what it meant so now he had to explain to her in details. How embarrassing he thought. "Ummm....I don't know what that means, but if it means guy liking a girl... And them going on dates and doing 'couple' stuff then that's what I mean." He would turn his head away until she responded to what he had just said to her.
Hopefully she understood what he meant so he wouldn't have to make a fool of himself by going into more detail. He wouldn't be surprised if she was the type to never worry about stuff like that. She had been through way to much and he could only imagine the last time she had probably ever opened up to anyone about the things that she went through. Musashi could only hope that he could be that guy that she let in. He liked being around her, and he would like it even more if she stuck around.

"Ahuh..." Ruby said, understanding his explanation. "So it is basically like that," she thought. She shook her head. "No... nothing like that," she said. "I've never really had a need for a... uh... boyfriend. And... well, I know you might not like to believe it, but most people never liked me," she told him. The truth was, they despised her. They seemed to hate her with a passion for one sin and one sin only--being born. But she didn't want to tell that to him... After all, he seemed to like her a lot. He was kind and gentle towards her, and she really liked that... she didn't want him to know anything about what she was like, because then he'd probably treat her differently... and she liked the way things were as they were now. "And I don't really need one. I feel like a 'couple' would probably be really close," she said quietly.

"Well I guess that's just there lost. I think you are a pretty amazing person."
He looked towards the sky as he said that to her as she continued to respond to what he said to her. Like expected, she didn't really have any of those experiences because she didn't have the time for that. "Yea, I guess none of us really do need someone to be with huh?" That was definitely going to be the end of that conversation. He didn't want to extend that any further. He would just take the situation for what it was and enjoy it all any chance he had with her. "Sooooo what exactly do you have planned for me?" He asked curiously hoping that she would tell him without thinking about it. He had never been taken out before so it was only natural that he was curious.

She smiled at his curiosity and shook her head. "Not telling," she said. "It's a surprise," she'd add. "But don't worry, we're almost there..." She lead him further down the shops and buildings, until she finally came to a halt. "Alright... before we continue, you have to close your eyes, okay?" She really just didn't want him to see until they were actually inside the building and were all set...

"Alright I will patiently wait..."
He sighed as they continued to walk toward their destination. After this day was over he was going to invite her to meet him at the school tomorrow. He was going to be holding a private meeting for all the people he had recruited into his gang and he wanted them all to be there so they could get to know each other. Ruby never said officially that she would be joining his gang, but he was hoping that maybe she would be still down for his cause. He wanted her by his side no matter what.
He felt there was a lot that they could learn from one another. Plus there was so much more he wanted to know about her. He wanted someone he could open up to about his past, and he felt like she was one of the few people in the school that might actually understand his past. Musashi shook his head letting all those thoughts temporarily roll off his mind as she asked him to close his eyes before he got to there destination. "Alright alright.. I'm just ready for this amazing surprise." He couldn't wait to see what it was.

"Alright," Ruby said with a smile. She truly couldn't think of anything that would be fun to do, and he seemed to talk so much about fighting that she assumed it was something he really enjoyed... so when she lead him to the special place and told him to open his eyes, he'd find himself in a building for people sparring--particularly, in a training room. "Here, take this," she said, handing him a small clamors sword that's blade was dull and used for sparring/practicing purposes only. "...I didn't really know what kind of things you liked, but we both seem to like fighting, and I've got to teach you how to fight with a sword one day, so I thought, 'why don't I take him out on the next time we meet to a sparring place?'" She was kind of embarrassed. It wasn't some nice restaurant, and it wasn't anywhere romantic or fun like a park or something to that extent... it was just... sparring. Something he probably did a lot anyway... "And... um... I know that you're probably really tired from your training earlier, so I promise I'll go easy on you and only teach you the basics so you don't get worn out... if that's okay...?"

"Wow.. Didn't expect this."
Musashi would have a surprised look on his face. This was the last place he definitely expected himself to be. A grin would appear on the face of the Hattori as she handed him a clamors sword that was used for sparring. He seen his father using these with a couple of his students back when he was growing up. "Well I would have to say that your a genius! This is awesome." Musashi was excited to see that Ruby would go out of her way to give him such an experience. She was truly a special friend indeed. He had to make sure that by the end of the day that he let her in on what he had planned for the following day at school.
"Awww, you don't have to take it easy on me... Well in the physical since that is. I'm pretty sure you sword skills are vastly superior to mine." He wanted to let her know that he was still in good form, but at the same time letting her know to take it easy on him with the sword. That was one style he was not very familiar with and knew that this particular situation wasn't something his athleticism could get him out of. "So whenever your ready you can let me know how you want this all to go... Senpai?" Musashi chuckled at his last statement now having said that since he was a boy. It was a weird feeling, but in this situation she was definitely going to be the one taking the lead.

((ooc: lol I almost died from laughter at the senpai part XD XD))
Ruby would grin and nod. "Alright, then! I won't go super easy on you, but I'm sure your strength will definitely help make up for your lack of experience," she'd say. She was glad that he was so positive about the whole idea. She really wasn't sure if it'd be the right thing to do... but, it worked out after all! Ruby's practice sword was quite a bit smaller than Musashi's, and it was a one-handed weapon whilst a claymore requited two hands from the more dominant need of force and strength to use it. However, Ruby knew that every sword had it's pros and cons, and she had luckily gotten to the point in her life where she'd been able to make it seem like she had no faults in her sword choice. Ruby's sword wasn't too big, but it wasn't too small, either. It could be used for deflecting attacks, shielding, as well as dealing powerful blows and since it was smaller than a claymore, it made it easier for her to avoid attacks too. However, a claymore, due to it's superior size, dealt out critical damage a lot more often, and the attacks were often more powerful. Not to mention that the width of the blade was also a bit larger, which meant it was better at shielding the user from attacks, as well. "First off, though, before I give you any tips, I want to see how you use your weapon. I'm pretty sure I chose the right blade for you, but I want to make sure of it before I get serious," she'd say. She smiled lightly and said, "So go on, give me your best shot."

"Well lets hope your right. I would hate to get beat up."
Musashi said to the girl jokingly as he awaited further instructions from her. This was definitely a position that he was not familiar with. He had been practicing the same fighting style just about his entire life and now he was getting ready to learn another one. As much as he didn't enjoy the feeling of being newbie at something he knew that it was good to push himself to do the things that he felt he would never be capable of doing. Ruby looked like she would be a great teacher, and he loved the amount of passion that she had for sword fighting.
She may have not said anything about it since the last time they saw one another, but he could tell from her body language that she was pumped. He loved seeing her happy like this, and he knew that if he ever needed added motivation to learning how to sword fight then he could just think about how happy it made her. "Okaaaaay.... Umm, Alright, here I come?" He said nervously shaking his head. Before he would make any sudden movements he would close his eyes and take a deep breath. He made sure that both hands were on the handle of the sword and that his grip was firm but not to tight. The Hattori boy would then open his eyes and would rush toward the girl with the sword being held to his right.
Once he got withing range he would swing toward the girls ribs area as if he was swinging a baseball bat. He was sure that with her experience that he wouldn't be able to hurt her. More than likely this first move was all about seeing what kind of form he had. He was almost certain that he looked really stupid, but this was what this training was supposed to be all about anyways.

Ruby would grin and get in a stance, preparing for anything he threw at her. She blocked his attack with her sword, but due to his much more apparent force and strength, the blade still smacked into her with a bit of force. However, due to the way she'd positioned the sword, the flat part of the blade had hit her rather than the edges, so if it had even been a real sword, she would have been unscathed. Now wanting to see what he'd do as a counter or block (whatever he chose to do), Ruby ducked her head and dashed forward, a firm grasp on the grip of her sword. She'd duck somewhat below his shoulder length onto his left--where he was vulnerable and not shielded by a sword. As she ran forward, she'd twist around in a spinning motion so that her sword would hit him in the lower part of his ribcage. However, she would use very little force so as to not harm him...

Despite the fact that he was currently sparring with his friend Ruby, he couldn't help but think back to a question that she asked earlier on the way to place they were at now. No wonder she asked what kind of fighter I was. It was her way of getting some kind of personal intel on his fighting abilities, and it was definitely going to payoff for her. Despite the fact that he knew that he was physically and possibly mentally better than the girl, she had all the experience and he had none. And judging from the way she was able to reduced the impact of his swing showed how much prowess she had when it came to sword fighting.
After she managed to somehow do that she would duck under him and would attempt a spinning swing that would be aimed for his rib cage. Her timing was practically perfect, and in the case of pure sword fighting he was defenseless. His only option consisted of letting the handle of his sword go so that he could catch her swing with his hand, but that would defeat the purpose of fighting with swords in the first place. He had seen people use there hands and other things countless times in movies during there weapons fights, however, that would only handicap him away from learning how to use his sword. Musashi would simply just close his eyes and the sword would hit him in the lower area of his rib cage.
He would tell by the force of the impact that she was still holding back, and he was definitely grateful for that. After the hit landed he would take a couple of steps back so that he could get some distance between them before speaking out to her. "You are truly an amazing sword fighter. I know I'm not good and all, but when you have the sword you move like me.. Without a sword, not to sound arrogant or anything." A grin appear on his face as he let his left hand slide off the handle of the sword and would place the sword over his right shoulder. "Alright, lets try this again, accept you go first. I Think I may have an idea."

Ruby would take a step back and stand upright, inspecting Musashi. She was interested in what this idea of his was, and a part of her wanted to lower her guard to let him land a hit on her, so that at least he could gain some experience. But she wondered, what would be best? To go easy on him? After all, it couldn't really hurt, as most people didn't use swords anyway, so even if she did go easy on him, he would still learn things and be able to fight well if he had a sword... But then, she was so used to defending herself flawlessly that a part of her wanted to continue to fight him without going so easy on him as to let herself get hit. Sure, she wasn't as fast as he was, she wasn't as smart as he was, she wasn't as flexible and mobile as he probably was, but it wasn't entirely about that... after all, if even she could master her sword to a point where she was nearly untouchable, and she was no one special to begin with, he had so much more potential than she did... so she decided that she'd give a basic attack to him as he requested, and she would leave herself open for failure. The thought being decided, Ruby gave a nod and said, "Very well." She took off her cloak and let it fall to the floor before pointing the tip of her blade toward Musashi. She didn't need the slight friction against the air that her cloak made when fighting Musashi. She knew she'd have to be more agile and her cloak--as dear as a possession it was to her--did slow her down (even if only in the slightest). Ruby wasn't used to giving the first attack to an opponent, there was so many things said opponent could do to counter or block the attack--both of which were lethal to avoid during combat. Because of this, she liked to make sure she was the reactor, she made sure that she would dodge and/or counter the blow directed toward her... so already she felt somewhat out of place. However, there was something she knew that Musashi didn't. So as she charged at the older boy, striking to stab him in the chest, he would be completely unaware to the fact that she was in fact not planning on stabbing him at all, but rather, to swiftly move her blade to lock with his and then whip it upward to fling the sword out of his hand, disabling him. He would be left with little choice as to what to do, for if he let Ruby hit him, he'd get hit in the chest and if it'd been a real-life situation, he would have likely been impaled and killed instantly. But if he chose to block, he'd just fall into her trap. What to do, what to do... Then again, there was always the filler of the blade that could potentially be used to block a straightforward attack and not only avoid being disarmed, but also obtain the upper hand to the situation. It would be near impossible to have a T block with Ruby's oncoming attack, as the chances of the tip of her sword directly hitting a part of his blade where it would lock and not slip to either side of the blade (as both of their swords were double-edged, even if the edges were dull and as harmless as plastic). He'd have to have great precision for that to work and, at that, be able to even take into consideration that the slight indent of the filler of the sword would potentially be enough to lock Ruby's sword into a position where she would be unable to counter.
((ooc: I'm sorry if that was a bit long and didn't make much sense, I could explain further in a PM if you wish. I tried to make it as clear as I could but I suck at explaining things most of the time tbh DX))

Musashi watched closely as she took off her cloak. He knew from this point on that things were going to be a lot more serious and that he was going to need to pay close attention to everything she did from now on. She had already proven that she was indeed some kind of master when it came to sword fighting so he knew he couldn't afford to make any mistakes. Before the girl made her next move there would be a slight pause between the two of them. He could tell that she was probably preparing for a genius level attack plan. He was no sword fighter so he knew he was going to have to get a little dirty in order to try to learn something from this.
And by getting dirty he meant having to take some damage. He was against using anything other than just the sword she gave him to use. He didn't want to have any advantages in this sparring session that he knew he wasn't supposed to have. He lacked the experience of sword fighting and therefore in order for him to improve it needed to show so that he could learn from what she was going to be teaching him. After a few seconds broke between the two of them the girl would finally charge at him. Usually in situations like this he would have the upper hand, but this time it was different. It was like going from playing with fist, to playing with fire. He was playing an entirely different ball game so he needed to be on his game.
For the most part it looked as if she was going in for a reckless charge. But he knew that such a move shouldn't be that easy to predict from someone he would consider to be a master of swords. This made him feel a little uneasy as she got closer in closer. Reading her movements wouldn't be the issue for Musashi, it was what she was going to do with them. Once she got within reach he would bring his sword down to in front of him with both hands on the swords. As she got in it would seem like she simply was going in for a reckless charge. However, he would find himself to be extremely wrong as her blade grinded against his for a bit, and then would be flung upward into the air.
His eyes widen as her blade begin to get closer to his body. This sparring session was heating up quickly and he knew he needed to act fast. He had to make sure that he took advantage of the qualities he had over her. Like his speed. Before her sword could reach him in time to do any damage he would spin around the sword and the body of the girl so that he could get around her charging move. With the amount of momentum she had coming forward she wouldn't be able to just stop. So that would leave her to slowly slide past him as he went around her. Once he got behind Ruby he would catch the sword before it hit the ground. From here he would get both hands on the sword and would attempt a strike to her back at less that half power so he wouldn't hurt her.
( Hope this move makes sense. Pm me if it doesn't or if its God modding and I missed something lol )
