Plans for... um... who knows? (Musashi)

"Stronger.. Got to be stronger."

He repeated to himself as he continued to run tirelessly around the track shirtless in his gym shorts trying to get some cardio workouts in. His goal was to catch up to everyone he felt like was a threat in the school, and then once he got to there level surpass them so that he could be someone that could be viewed as a threat to them. "Just a few more laps to go." He repeated to himself once more as he continued running around the track. Today had been a long day, and as much as he enjoyed getting stronger he couldn't wait to do something he considered to be fun or interesting.

"Hiya Musashi!"

Musashis eyes widen at the sound of a familiar voice that he had not heard in awhile. He immediately would stop running and would turn around to see that the girl that called out to him was none other than Ruby. "Oh no." He muttered to himself quietly realizing that he was sweaty. He wasn't worried about the fact that his shirt was off because of how fit he was, but then again he was still sweaty. "Hey! Its been awhile hasn't it?" The truth was he had been dying to see her again since there last encounter.

He had spent all week talking to his mom about her and how amazing she was. She was nice, funny, and she always had something to talk about. Not to mention she was beautiful at that. His mom made the general assumption that he liked her. Which he probably did, but there was no way that he was going to admit that his mother. Mostly because she already knew. She was a mom after all, been there done that as most parents would say. His main focus was to build there friendship because that was the most important thing. However, that didn't mean that the man lurking inside of him didn't hope for something to follow through in the future.

"Its good to finally see you again... Sorry that I look like... Ya know, ummmm, this."

"Yea, I didn't want to make you uncomfortable or anything."

He wasn't use to looking this way around girls and he didn't want to leave a bad impression on her even if he had a reason for being this way. He wanted to always look his best, especially around Ruby. However, judging by the way she was acting it didn't seem like she had a problem with him being that way at all. She even embraced the idea of running around the track with him, or better yet chasing him. Musashi liked the idea of having a girl chase him around the track while his shirt was off.

It wasn't a fantasy or anything, but there was something about it that got him pumped up inside. Maybe it was the feeling of having a girl chase after him even if it wasn't for the reason it would perceive to be. But of course he would never let these thought out aloud. "Well if your willing to get as nasty as me then come on!" Musashi took off on the track going half speed so that she wouldn't get left too far behind. "So what brings you out here Ruby?" He asked just loud enough for her to here from afar.

"Well I'm glad you decided to wonder around here. I.... Kinda miss you ya know."

Musashi really enjoyed the encounters that he had with her. She was a really sweet girl and he always had so much to talk about when he was with her. There was so much to her that he wanted to understand. It was like he was falling in love with reading all over again. He hated doing that because of all the time he had spent doing that when he was younger, but when it came to reading people it was much more fun. Especially when it was someone like her. He still had to meet her brother Jet, and he was sure that there was a lot more to her past than she had let on.

However, he knew that if he was ever going to have a chance at hearing that, then he was going to have to open up himself. Which was going to be extremely difficult because of the back ground he came from, but he was sure that was something he didn't have to worry about for the time being. Right now he was just going to continue with the basics. "Do you have any plans for the rest of the day? After this lap I'll be free to do whatever and I would rather spend that time hanging with you than going home and doing nothing."

( Sorry that I hae been MIA, I have had a real busy past couple of days. The first few caused me to lose my muse and I didn't want this thread to go to crap because of it, and the weekend was just flat out busy. But I is back now

He wondered exact what that meant in her mind. He was sure that there was no way that she was probably thinking about him in the same kind of since. I mean she was a girl after all. There was no way she could have the same silly mindset as a guy. She was probably thinking more in terms of entertainment or something. Musashi definitely wanted to believe that somewhere deep down inside that it was more, but he had to take the advice that was given by his mom. When he was around her there was no time for day dreaming about stuff.

He would take his advice and remain focus on Ruby and not all the mumbo jumbo that was in his head from some of the stuff she was saying. The most important thing right now was there friendship. Other than the one he had with Yukine this definitely a friendship that he valued. "Ummm, together?!" He responded excitedly before taking a few deep breaths in so that he could calm down and relax. He had to act like he had some sense, he was the guy after all right? "Oh really? Well as long as I'm with you I'm sure it would be fantastic." Musashi would finish the remainder of his laps with Ruby before saying anthing else.

"Alright, I'm about to go back into the locker room for a sec the change into... My normal cloths and then I guess we can head out?" If she agreed then he would hurry into the locker room so that he could shower up and get prettied up for another outing.

This was probably going to end up being a dramatic moment for Musashi. Well at least that was the way he was making it seem like as he stood alone in the shower as his head begin to fill with thoughts of positive and negativity. He wondered constantly what was going to become of this day and what was going to happen between he and Ruby. He felt stupid for thinking about it so much, but this was the first time he had hung out with a girl this much. Not to mention she was going to be treating him out to another date.

He didn't care about where it was going to be, or how cheap it might be as long it was with her. He wondered why he felt the way he did for her. Was it because she was the first girl to truly talk to him? Or was it something else. Its not like he was in love or anything. More like being in like with her, but today was definitely the perfect time to answer all of those questions. He also wondered what was going through her mind and what she thought of him. Sure she thought he was a nice guy and all, but was there more to it than just that. The last thing he wanted was to be 'in like' by himself.

After his shower was over he would go over to his navy blue Nike bag and would take out a fresh set of cloths. His attire consisting of a navy blue tank top, khaki colored straight legged pants, and Navy blue SB dunks from Nike. Musashi quickly headed back down to the track so that h could meet back up with Ruby so they could finally start there day. "Sorry it took me so long, I wanted to look as best as I could... Can't have you going out with someone who doesn't take care of themselves. Plus I gotta make sure to look as pretty as you do.... So where are we off to captain?"

I always look fine.

The eyes of the Hattori boy would widen, his faces shifting down toward the ground so that she didn't see his face turn red. His heart begin to start racing as if he was in a big sports game and the game winning shot was in his hands. He was beginning to believe that somewhere down the road that he might actually have a chance to-- Well he didn't want to get to far in over his head so he would take a deep breath and would face back up to his friend ruby.

"I think so... I've never really known the difference to be honest."

From here on out he wanted to remain more confidence about everything that was happening right now. It was okay to get excited, but he didn't want to be the kind of excited like a kid on Christmas day. He wanted to be taken completely serious. Although there was nothing wrong with his positive personality, he wanted to be seen more as a strong guy. Not to say that she didn't think he was. Perhaps it was this notion of masculinity that was getting to him. "Yeah... I like Handsome." Honestly he didn't care what words she used as long as they all remained complements.

"Alright, sounds perfect to me." After responding to what the girl had to say she would grab his wrist and begin taking him into the direction of the city so that they could do whatever it was that she had planned. This was definitely a new experience for him and so far he was enjoying everything moment of it. He couldn't wait to here all the things that she wanted to ask him.

Musashi thought that it was cool to see that she would be interested in what kind of fighting style he liked to use. Not to mention it was a extremely important question to him since his fighting style was the last of what he had left of his father who trained he and his brother day and night when they were kids. "Well my fighting style is Ninjutsu... Which in itself isn't just one style, but many different styles all into one. However, I only focused on learning a few since I always felt that I would truly never need them all.. My fighting style revolves more around countering with powerful kicks inspired by the Dux Ryu Ninjutsu that I learned under my father as well."

Musashi curiously wondered if she ever planned on fighting against at some point any time soon, and if that was the reason why she wanted to know. Either way it didn't matter, he would gladly show her how strong he was if it meant he got to impress her. Even if it was only just a little. "Also my favorite color would probably be Red... Like a Ruby..." His face blushing after making his last comment. Before it got to weird he would begin asking the same questions to her. "So what does your fighting style consist of? AND what is your favorite color as well?"
