Being new to the city and new to being in any sort of highschool environment was bound to make someone nervous. Unfortunately for Mack, she was also newly homeless, and going to a school for delinquents. Because that had gone so well for her in the past. Still the blonde walked like she owned the place as she aimlessly wondered the school grounds. She’d just been to admin to organize herself a room in the dorms. She’d rather not live at the school, it was much nicer to live in the city, but unfortunately since she was cut off from her parents she had to earn her own cash, meaning she was forever broke. Huffing a sigh Mack straightened her back, wheeled her suitcase towards the dorms and walked with what passed for long, confident strides when you were a tiny blonde girl with piggy tails in her hair. ‘Dorm number 204’ The slip of paper she held in her left hand read.
As she walked she began thinking maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to live in a dorm. Things wouldn’t be so boring all the time, and she could learn a lot more about the school from her neighbors. Heck, she might even have a roommate, she’d left it to chance really. Actually she’d told the admin ’surprise me’, when asked. . As she walked, she did not really pay too much attention to where she was going, because she’d begun imagining all the crazy things that might happen in a dorm. Some things are better left un-said.
Reaching a set of stairs, Mack began to climb them in the same thoughtless way. Her suitcase clunked against the stairs as she dragged it by the handle up each step. Of course, it was heavy for her and she found herself struggling to lift it. “Fuck…” She swore pausing to catch her breath. Mentally preparing herself, she took the bag again and continued lugging it up the stairs. What had she packed that was so damn heavy? Actually she’d probably tossed everything she owned in that bag. She’d almost made it..,. the end was in sight and then some kids who were running down the stairs ruined it all. It was a head on collision and Mack’s head smacked against the thick skulled idiot who’d bashed into her. Her hands let go of the case.
It was almost like slow motion watching that thing tumble all the way back down to the first floor. It clattered perilously until it landed open with all of her stuff on the floor, including a collection of rather embarrassing undergarments. Mack didn’t think she’d ever blushed before, at least not to this extent. I have to play this off. She thought, because she knew she would have an audience. Despite the fact that she was rather mortifided that her peers now knew she read a ridiculous amount of Yuri manga, wore a collection of rather… childish looking knickers, and for some reason decided to would be a good idea to pack all her million bags of imported tea, which had mostly all spit open all over everything.
Everyone stared at her waiting for her reaction. So she smiled, laughed loudly and then bowed “Well! This is one way to meet the neighbors!” A lot of people laughed, mostly at her, but since Mack was laughing too, she saved a little bit of her dignity. Swiftly moving downstairs she shoved everything back inside the bag again and stood up “Alright! Show is over! That’ll be 5 bucks!” She called since they were still staring at her. What a nighmare… She thought I sure hope I played it off.

"Moms isn't going to like this not one bit."
He muttered to himself as he got all of his things settled into his new dorm room. Musashi wasn't a big fan of living with new people, but it was something that had to be done. He was the leader of a gang now and he needed to have multiple locations he could go to in case something went down. He hadn't told his mom yet that he was moving in with someone else, but then again he didn't even know who this someone else was going to be. Nonetheless, he would still make sure to come home from time to time to make sure that she didn't get any smart ideas. He would just continue lying about where he was staying at so that she wouldn't get any ideas. "Dorm number 204. I guess this will be location number two for me."
Before he could start doing any rearranging with his new room he would here something extremely loud falling down the stairs followed by a lot of laughter. "Sigh... I wonder who these kids are picking on now." Before Musashi would never step foot into situations like this because of his lack of fighting prowess, but now that he was stronger he didn't mind giving a hand to whoever was the little guy. After all, he was one at one point during his time at 552. Stepping out of his room he would look down the stairs to see that there was a group of kids laughing at some girl. The Hattori would wait to see how she would handle this adversity before stepping in to do anything about the situation. He wanted to give her the chance to see if she could handle the situation on her own.
He didn't want to come as some kind that was trying to baby her after all. He watched closely as she tried to play off the situation by laughing at herself, and for a moment it seemed like it would have worked except everyone just kept looking at her. Musashi shook his head as he begin to start walking down the stairs so that he could help the girl with her stuff. As he got closer to the girl peoples eyes would begin to start focusing on him, and they would slowly start creeping away. "Unless you guys want this 'issue' to escalate any further I suggest you go on about your day." He'd say as they would laugh and would continue to go about there day. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but it was good knowing that he was formidable enough now to the point were no student would dare challenge him.
"You alright Miss, The names Musashi."
He would say sticking out his hands for hers to shake before noticing the paper that was in her left hand that read 'Dorm Room number 204.' A grin would appear on the face of the boy as he realized that she was going to be his new roommate. This was something that he wasn't expected, but after how much he paid to the staff of the school for this room he wasn't surprised. Purhaps this was going to be his chance to finally get over his fear of talking to girls. Being around his friend Ruby helped, and so did talking to his mom. Maybe this was going to be his chance to prove to himself that he could handle any adversity. "Annnd, you are also my new roommate." He'd say smiling to the girl hoping that she accepted his help.
"Sorry about all the idiots we have in this school, I guess no one ever taught them to have any manner... If you'd have me, I wouldn't mind taking all your stuff your room for you so we can avoid future situations like this one mam."

At the sound of the voice Mack looked up. A tough looking guy with spiked hair was walking down the stairs and dispersing the crowd just by telling them to leave. Okay… he must have some sort of formidable reputation… note to self, stay on his good side? Or at least she would try her best to control her tongue around him. After the crowd dispersed, he helped her with the rest of his stuff, and he introduced himself. She looked at him, rather amused “Miss? Cor, aint heard that one for a while.” Actually the last time she’d been called that was back in her parents home in England. “I’m right as rain, Musashi!” She proclaimed enthusiastically shaking his hand firmly and grinning as she stood herself upright again and dusted herself off. “I’m Mackenzie, pleased to meet you Mister” She said while tipping and invisible top hat at him. For a moment she released how cool it would be to actually own a top hat, and then he began speaking again and she was pulled back into the moment
She let go of his hand and followed his eyes down to the slip of paper she was still holding on to, after which his polite smile turned into a grin a little more like hers. This guy was to be her roommate? “Oh? You’d think a school like this would be strict on girl boy dorms huh? No matter! You’re such a gentleman, yeah?” She laughed again and then began bracing to pick up her bag again to pull it up stairs. He offered to take it from her and she considered it for a moment then shrugged. “I supposed since my pride is already in such a state some free manual labor would be fine. Thanks a bunch roomie!” She decided as she handed the bag to him and then stretched “Ah yes, this is much better. Can I also ride on your shoulders from now on?” Slapping him on the back she said “Not really, don’t you dare pick me up! Ever!”
Mack was talking too much already. She couldn’t help it, there were just so many different thoughts in her head and her internal filter couldn’t catch them all. She cleared her throat and devised to ask him a question “So I’m assuming you have some kind of reputation in this school? You aint gonna shank me in my sleep are ya?"

"Yeah, I would have said the same thing years ago back when I first got to this school, but after learning the system you realize anything is possible. Not like it was my plan to room with a girl, but at least I see why i had top pay the Administration so much to get this room. Oh well."
Musashi was liking his soon to be roommate already. In a way she reminded him of himself with her upbeat attitude. His new place could use someone with that kind of attitude, the last thing he wanted was to move in with someone who was like his brother. Not like there was anything with wanting your space all the time, but every now and then it would have been nice to have an actual conversation with him. However, he could already see that this wasn't going to be the case with his new roommate. "No problem Mackenzie." He'd say as he would take her bag and would begin walking up the stairs. Musashi grin at her comment about asking for a piggy back ride.
It was a good thing that she immediately said that she was joking right after because he would have probably taken her up on that offer. That something he had never done before, and now that she had mentioned it he was sure to add it to his bucket list. As they got closer to there room his roommate would ask his a very interesting question. Apart of him wanted to laugh in flattery at what she had just said. He had waited so long to here such a comment, and now that it had finally come he was going to do everything he could not to own up to it. Being arrogant wasn't his type, not to mention he didn't have a reputation. At least not yet. He and his gang for the most part was still in the shadows so not many people know about them.
"Oh, I wouldn't say I have a reputation around here.... Lets just say that I'm a upper classmen so naturally that comes with perks... And no, you wont have to worry about me killing a beautiful woman like yourself in your sleep. I'm not a creeper, plus it would ruin my 'good boy' reputation that I have in most parts around the school."
After a minute or so they would finally arrive at the doorstep to there room. So far most of the place was pretty much empty with the exception of there being some couches in the living room area. Yes a living room area in a dorm. This room use to belong to that of an R.A., but since he bought it off it now belonged to them. In there was two room, a bathroom for each of them, and even a kitchen. "Here we are, I haven't done much to the place since I'm just moving in myself. So help yourself to decorating the area if you want. I have no preference."

“Oh I see. Well, was livin' in 'n apartment before with a few roommates, some of which were boys” She shrugged “Aint a big deal.” Mack saw the grin at her comment about a piggy back and almost got embarrassed. No way, no way would she ever let someone pick her up. Especially since she was so light and small that it’d probably be super easy. She would feel like a little happy dog or something! Well… maybe if she actually had a good friend. And as strange as it seemed since she was confident and good at talking to others, she’d never felt like someone would truly have her back. She didn’t really know how to have that relationship with someone, since her whole life it had just been her, dealing with her problems by herself.
When he responded to her question she found it pretty interesting. “Hmm, truth is, I’ve never even been to a public school before now.” She’d really never been to a school before, most of her life she’d had different tutors teach her at home, one of which she’d stabbed with a kitchen knife. She still wasn’t sure she really got the dynamics of a normal school, let alone this one. It was all a little overwhelming. So people respected their seniors here. In a place like this where everyone here had the potential to be real criminals, I suppose rank might be a big deal. She was thinking so much about all this that she almost didn’t register the rest of his sentence when she did, a smirk immediately crossed her face. “Ooh, he’s smooth!” She exclaimed grinning and folding her arms over her chest “But who’s to say I aint gon to kill you in your sleep! This is a school for delinquents after all! I could be craaazy!”
They walked the rest of the way up to the dorm and Mack looked very surprised “Wow, nice place alright! How’d I luck out getting this room?” She walked inside and buzzed around the dorm looking around “Cool! I’ll probably personalise it over time. Which room is mine?” She asked him “I’d better scavenge through my bag for things that aren’t broken.”

"Yeah, I guess you could be crazy, but if you were crazy then you probably would have attacked those people who were laughing at you. Which you didn't so I'm thinking your more on the safer side. Plus I don't killing me would be in your best interest, no?"
He would say to the girl with a grin on his face. So far he was enjoying the company of the girl. Mostly because she was easy to talk to, and talking to girls was never easy for Musashi. Maybe all the advice he had been getting from his mom was finally starting to pay off. Plus this whole taking responsibility thing was starting to make him a little more laid back and confident. "Your room would be over there to the right." If she walked in that direction, down the small hall she would find a room over to her left that was almost the size of a master bedroom. In there would be a full sized bathroom as well with a toiler and shower. "So feel free to put your stuff up as you please."
"Also, the reason why you were lucky enough to have this room is because I paid most of its rooming and board price. So for the most part your monthly payments are going to be extremely low. And depending on how I feel I might just go ahead and pay everything off for the remainder of the school year." He'd say to the girl before walking over to the living room and sitting on the couch. He couldn't deny the major feeling of living in his own place. The only thing he was sure to miss was the amazing food that his mom cooked on the daily bases. It was one of the few reasons why he was able to remain so strong and fit.
"So What brings a lady like yourself to a scum place like this. We don't get too many attractive woman around here... So what's your story." After asking his question he'd rest head against the back of the couch with his head facing toward the sealing. This was truly going to be an amazing day. Mostly because he just found out that his roommate was a freaking girl. There wasn't ever going to be a better chance to learn about woman than right now.

“Well most crazy people don’t go around wearing their crazy on their sleeve! But you’re right, there would definitely be no benefit. Plus I’m not a psychopath, lucky for you!” She nodded and dragged her bag into her room. It was simple at the moment. All she had to decorate it with now was her alarm clock, her laptop, which was still in working order Thank god. She didn’t know how she was supposed to live a school life without it. She had a bunch of Manga to decorate the little desk with. Her clothes she decided to pack away later, right now she had to get to know the dude she’d be living with. That was rather important.
She ducked back out of the room again, caring a couple of tea bags that hadn’t split open and placed them in the kitchen “Do you like tea? I’m making tea, if you’d like some! English Breakfast” She offered. He began to tell her about the reason why she’d got a room like this so cheap and she felt a little bad “Man, I thought the payments were low.. No, no. I’m happy to pay myself.” Mack said as she put the kettle on ready. She liked earl grey better than english breakfast tea, but all she had was her english breakfast and a whole number of herbal tea’s she didn’t feel like. She already felt a little bit homesick already here in america. Not that she missed the situation she was in back home. Here she was actually safe… well safer.
The water began to boil and she poured some into her favourite mug, if he said yes to the tea, into another one. Her’s was perfect, something a friend back home had bought her, and it had been well used at all her parents dinner parties. It was a simple white mug with the words ‘It’s Motherfucking tea time’ scrolled across it in fancy cursive. She wondered how to answer his question “Oh, hum, you’re really laying on the charm.” Mack said with a chuckle “Short version of a rather lengthy tale is, I was in a wealthy family back home in London, I went off the rails, I got in over my head, then they researched this place, sent me here, then told me never to contact them again.” She shrugged “But ya know, life goes on.” She looked over at him as she came back with hot drink in hand “How about you, ‘nice guy’"

"Tea would be fine mam."
Musashi wasn't a big fan of tea at all. In fact he couldn't stand it. To him it tasted like a bad combination of lake water and sugar. The only thing he liked to drink was water and anything that was one hundred percent juice. However, he would no doubt make an exception to this situation because his new roommate was offering, and she was a girl. He'd tell her sometime in the future that he didn't like tea, but for now he would drink it so he could enjoy the company of the girl he hoped to be a friend in the near future. Rather sooner than later.
"Wow, I would have never guessed you came from such a home... The most important thing is that you are here and safe. And with some luck 'hopefully' you will stay out of trouble as well."
He'd say leaning his head off the couch so that she could see the grin on his face from teasing her. After she told her 'short' story of how she got there she would of course return with the same exact question. Something that Musashi no doubt hadn't planned for at all, but should have expected to hear to begin with. He had to make sure that he gave her the run around on his background. He couldn't have her knowing anything about his history with his family. After all he had just met her today, but that didn't mean he was going to lie to her either. He was going to do as she had just done and not tell the whole truth.
"Well I am from the city of Tokyo. I moved back here with my mom who was from the states after my dad died from.... Something I still don't understand." Musashi paused for a moment thinking about what life would have been like if his dad was around. He and his brother would probably still be home schooled by his mom, while training everyday with their dad to prepare to join the 'family' business. "Me and my older brother, who you might meet someday spent most of our lives being home schooled until we moved here and decided to go to public school... Can't say it was the best choice, but you cant be sheltered forever you know. Plus I get to meet people like you."
Musashi wondered if flirting with her was in his best interest, but it was something that he could not help. He was a 'growing' boy after all and couldn't help his desire to please certain woman by putting smiles on there face. Especially since he was now living with one. "Do you have any friends down here, or am I your first? Well hopefully I am, or would be at least."

"you really gotta cut it with this mam stuff, yo.” She said shaking her head as she poured a second tea “You want sugar?” She asked him as she set the tea down on the table with a couple of biscuits> She broke open a sugar packet for herself and mixed it in with her spine, then she dunked her bisquite in the coffee with extreme concentration. It was important to get enough flavour but at the same time, important not to let the cookie get too soggy and dissolve in the tea. She was well practiced at this by now though. She bit into the plain cookie and smiled contently. She had skipped around pretty much all of her story, and told him the basics, but she didn’t really need to tell him her life story right off the bat. It would totally ruin the mood. Besides, she was ashamed of most of it, and none of it put her in a particularly good light. “Haha! No promises there Bruv!” She laughed “Oh yeah you wouldn’t guess, I don’t talk posh anymore”
Musashi went on to talk about himself in the same round about way. Neither of them really wanted to explain anything too in depth it seemed. Besides, deep conversation scared Mack, because it wasn’t her forte, where as joking around definitely was. He said something vague about his fathers death. She didn’t really think he’d want a comment from her about that, and stuff like ‘I’m sorry’ was a pretty pointless nicety more than anything else. “Homeschooling, huh, like me. Except I went through a number of tutors, all who got sick of me. Annnnd I didn’t pay attention as much as I should have.”
Musashi finished off his story with yet another flirt. Makenzie sipped on her tea, then placed it down so that she could look at him. She wondered where he was trying to get outta this. Mack definitely wasn’t ‘committed relationship’ material. Still, she met his comment with a cool smirk “Oh ho ho. Careful, too much flattery might make me suspicious of you” Mack leant back against the couch casually, enjoying her tea. Nothing made her happier. She was a true brit to her core really. “Oh yeah, you’re the first. What a privilege it must be for you! Sure, you can be my friend. It is beneficially to befriend your roommate, don’t ‘cha think.” What did ‘friend’ actually mean to her, she wondered. If this was all it was, then she’d had plenty of ‘friends’. Mack absentmindedly tapped her thumb on her mug as her train of thought took her away for a little while. “So, anything I gotta know to survive this place?"

"Yeah sorry about that... I guess its just a habit, and sugar would be fine Mackenzie?"
Calling people he had just met by their face name was a pretty difficult task for Musashi, but it was even harder knowing that this person was a girl, and was going to be his roommate. However, he knew that if he wanted things to work out between them as friend he would have to learn to call her by her name. He could already tell that she was one of those extremely straight forward people so she would let him know how she was probably feeling at all times. Musashi chuckled at her comment about being home schooled as well. The thought of knowing that they turned out so different made Musashi want to laugh. He could tell that she was probably a handful to deal with, and that it was probably the reason why she ended up here.
Perhaps if they got close enough he could learn some more things about her, and maybe she would even learn some more things about him. Although, it did seem like that would be such an impossible task judging by how distant she was personally. He couldn't quite put his finger on it yet, but there was definitely more to her than what she gave off. Not to say that she wasn't being herself, but it was like this straight forward person was covering up for someone that lingered deep inside herself. He wondered if that person was kinder, or possibly even more straight forward than the person she was being now.
"Oh no! I wouldn't want you to start being suspicious."
Musashi grinned at his sarcastic comment back to his new roommate Mackenzie. She was very interested indeed, but now that he thought about it, maybe it wasn't a good idea to be so friendly to someone he had just met. She was a girl after all, 'and' they were also roommates. A lot of negative thoughts could stimulate from that. The last thing he wanted was for her to become so uncomfortable with him that she started avoiding him. "The privilege huh? You must be a pretty amazing person talking like that." A smirk would appear on the face of the Hattori as he took a sip of his tea before standing up and walking over to the wall to lean against. "The only thing you need to do to survive here is know what your up against.... Simple things which I'm sure you would be familiar with. Like don't go around challenging and start things with people you know you could never ammount enough strength to beat."
"Also you have to make the right friends around here. Having guy like me around could make a big difference." He'd say with a grin before looking away from the girl completely. As arrogant as that might have sounded he was making a good point. He was now one of those people that most people in the school feared because of his physical prowess. "All jokes aside, as long as your my roommate, 'and' friend, I promise to never let anything happen to you. I'm a man of my word." He'd say pointing to his chest with a smile on his face as he turned back to look at his mysterious, yet beautiful roommate. Oh what a day this was turning out to be.

“Oh no I get it.” She said dismissively when he apologized for calling her ‘mam’ “From my upbringing I ‘ad ‘n ‘abbit of sticking up my pinky finger when drinking tea or coffee, and I’ve got perfect manners down pat as well. Your family raise you that way then? ‘Fraid I don’t know much about Japanese culture.” She babbled on a little as his habit of addressing her as mam had made her think a lot about her own upbringing. She was a little sad, she supposed, that she was now basically an orphan. Only a little. Or at least, that was all she was willing to admit to herself. She wondered about Musashi. He seemed to like her; moreover, he seemed to want to get to know her. They were to live with each other for the foreseeable future. He was very cute, and they were sort of teasing one another a lot. But Mack was simply not prepared to thinking about ‘dating’ anyone. It was a foreign concept to her. She’d had her flings with people, no strings attached.
Still, she could not help in the witty, flirty banter between them. This was her favorite type of interaction, after all. “Oh amazing I am! At least, you seem to think so.” She said with a wink. Hatori began to answer her question about the school. Don’t challenge people who are obviously more skilled than her. Musashi was definitely one of those people she was glad was currently on her side. It was obvious he was strong, and she got the vibe that he was well trained as well.
His advise she probably could have used in the past. Every time she thought about fighting she was reminded of how it felt to be so outmatched that it was no longer a fight. There were scars all over her torso evidence of all her mistakes, and the consequences they wrought on her. And having the right friends. Back home she went it alone, didn’t stick her neck out for anyone, yet she had been surprised when no one wanted to help her. And as much of an idiot as it made her seem, she still wasn’t overly comfortable with having that kind of relationship with someone.
Still, there was no real choice. Denying Hatori’s offer of protection would be ludicrous. It would be like inviting trouble. She had to think about how to respond. She wanted to say ‘Do what you want, but don’t expect anything from me.’ But she knew that would turn him away from her. She also knew it would seem cowardly, or aloof depending on how he decided to take it.
Sucking in a breath, Mack looked up from her mug and decided that she was going to think of it like a business association, like a smart choice without any emotional obligation beside what was necessary for survival, and that made it easier on her. “Looking at me, you’d probably laugh if I offered my protection in return.” She paused and shrugged, her face rather serious for probably the first time durin their conversation. “But I’ll offer it anyway. You never know what might save you in the future, and I’m actually not as weak as I look, but shh, that’s a secret” She grinned at that last bit, pressing a finger to her lips. She didn’t care that people saw a rather weak little teenager when they looked at her. It helped, more often than not, to be underestimated. And one day she’d be stronger than all of them, because she was damn sure that she had the willpower of 1000 men within her to achieve any goal she wished to.

It wasn't like Musashi t have his mind wondering like this, but something about the girl just seem to stimulate his mind. It was as if she was challenging his mind by the way she carried herself. In most situations he felt like this kind of personality would be annoying to him, but instead it was giving him this feeling of life. Maybe this was what it was like talking to girls, or maybe this was what it was like to talk to a person like herself. Everything about this Mackenzie was a mystery, but maybe just this once this wasn't a mystery he wouldn't mind solving. A grin would appear on the face of the Hattori as she made another smart, but yet interesting comment.
Yeah, so far he did see her as an amazing individual, but he wasn't going to let her know that. This was only just the first day. He had to be the stubborn man as his mom would say, and prolong what would be eventually seen as the inevitable. After making his comment in regard to how she could survive in the school there would be a deep pause between the two of them. He wondered if he had came off as too arrogant, and if it bothered her. His focused remained in the opposite direction of her face so she couldn't try to get any read on him. He had already said what he said and there was no taking it back. I mean it wasn't like he was wrong or anything, but perhaps he was trying to hard to get on her good side.
However, he would find that he was safe after hearing the statement she would make in regard to his answer to her question. A grin would appeared on the face of the Hattori as he faced back toward his new roommate who actually looked serious for once, but of course that would be short lived. He hadn't been around her for more than a day and he could already tell that being overly serious wasn't her type. Plus that would kinda go against what she said earlier in regard to her background in her good home. "Hmmmm... Who knows, maybe you could save me from something. But let me guess, that something will be a secret as well?" He'd say to her also putting a finger to his lips as he just took the time to look at her for a moment.
What was going to happen with this? Was this going to be a meeting that would turn into an unexpected journey, or would she just be another person he said hi and bye to everyday. The thought of this made him smile because he knew deep down that it wasn't going to be a simple friendship. She was way to complex and exciting for all that. He could tell by the way she made her tea. Yes, her tea. He couldn't wait to get to know her more, and hopefully he would get that very chance to do just that. He wanted the next thing he said to be extremely interesting, something that would even get a girl like herself sitting on the edge of her seat.
He didn't know why, but for some reason he felt the need to go out of his way to impress her. Perhaps it was because she was worthy of that kind of that attention, but of course he wasn't going to let her know that. As his mom told him throughout his life. Giving a woman too much power could be dangerous. He loved the even playing field they continued to battle on as they traded sarcastic comments, flirty remarks, and even shared little things about themselves so they could imagine what the other one was like. "So now that you are here... What now?" He'd ask staring at her with a grin on his face. He was extremely curious on what was going to come of the rest of there day together. Would she just leave, or would they stay and actually get to know one another.
She didn't seem like the type to open up to anyone, which was probably why she was down here in the first place, but he wanted to try challenging that. It was something about opening someones eyes to new possibilities that always got Musashi going. Sure there was probably a low percentage of success, I mean she left a great home just to come here in this slum bag, but he was sure that she'd enjoy the fight he put up just to get to know the real her. For her, with nothing more expected in return.

(OOC: Just wondering, do you know if you can you get DEX stats from anything that isn’t strictly a fight? Like a free running competition?) “You never know! I have a few secrets, but I’ll bet you have plenty of your own” She said before putting down her finished teacup on the coffee table. She stood up from the couch after that, she had been sitting down for far too long already and it was beginning to drive her nuts even though she was talking to someone interesting. And she did find him interesting. She found herself wanting to get to know him. She also did admittedly think he was attractive, but something like that was best kept to herself, considering he was making advances. This whole time, she had been herself around him, like she would usually, but she was also incredibly guarded. She was sure he was picking up on it, and she was also pretty sure that he was going to try his darndest to pick her apart overtime. Usually she was very confident that her guard would hold up, but this time, she felt a little twinge of doubt within her.
Still, there was nothing to panic about yet afterall. Mack walked restlessly around the apartment looking at the plain furniture and imagining how she might change it. Her room back home was like her own customized little den. It had to be afterall, it was the only place she could be herself away from all the dresses and dinner parties and old people pinching her cheeks. She was bored now and she wanted to do something else. If he wanted to come along and entertain her she’d be happy enough with that. She wondered what he liked to do. She also wondered how long it would take for him to tire of her endless energy. He seemed to read her mind as he asked her what now. She looked back over at him and decided to take advantage of the fact that she could dictate what they did now. She had a few ideas at once but she decided to mull over them for a moment.
She wanted to do something physical, since now that she had been sitting and talking for a short while she was bursting with restless energy. “Have you ever tried free running or gymnastics?” She asked him with a grin, and her hands on her hips “Because I bet your all tough and strong, but I recon you couldn’t catch me if we went for a run.” Looking down at her lower half she almost forgot she was wearing a skirt “Oh my! Wouldn’t want to give you too much incentive though! where are my bike shorts.. hmm” She disappeared into her room and clothes flying across past the open door was all that was visible till she found what she was looking for and threw them on underneath her shorts. Looking back at the mess she made she decided to clean it later “C’mon, C’mon, I gotta do something. Oooh, this city probably has plenty of things to climb doesn’t it? Don’t worry, I’m totally not going to get myself killed!” She said.
She was not willing to accept a no right now and she was already half out the door and stretching as she walked. Getting fired up at things like this was unavoidable. People usually called it ‘cute’, but Mack was convinced she was cool.

"And I'll bet that you would like to know what they are."
He would say teasing the girl with his comment. It was funny because he knew secretly that they were both getting more and more curious about one another. The Hattori boys eyes followed the girl as she put down her teacup and finally stood up. A grin would appear on the face of Musashi as he begin to wonder if whether or not she was going to be leaving him or not. If she decided to leave he would feel as if all they had talked about was for nothing. Not to say that all was lost for the both of them, but he would just have to assume that he wasn't being as interesting as he thought. There was nothing more humiliating then thinking you have caught someones eyes, and then finding out you were wrong.
Especially in this case because he was currently the only friend she had made so far. Not to say that she was incapable of making more, but to lose the advantage of being her first 'friend' would be pretty sad. However, all the girl would do was look around the apartment room probably just imagining what she wanted the place to look like. The boys heart raced as he watched her walk about the apartment, just wondering what she was thinking about now that she wasn't in a home that could give her everything she wanted. He would use how she decided to decorate the place as a reflection of who she was. It was his only option since he knew that it was going to be awhile before he got anything genuine out of her.
But in all honesty, he preferred for it to be that way. Anything that came too easy in life definitely wasn't worth it. Even when you were probably being fed a spoon of gold like the girl in front of him. Finally after roaming the room for long enough the girl would finally begin to speak to him as she asked him if he ever free ran or did gymnastics. A smile would appear on the face of the Hattori as he begin contemplating how he was going to answer her. As one of his favorite movies said; "Shock and awe." He wanted to keep her constantly at the edge, always wondering what to expect next. "Nope.. Never been into that gymnastics stuff, I don't think wearing nothing but tights is my thing." He'd say grinning at the girl before he answered the second portion of her question.
"But Free Running is something me and my older brother definitely grew up doing in the streets of Tokyo Japan.. It was actually apart of my training growing up."
And of course her question would follow up with a sarcastic remark, but it was something about her that made him like it. It kind of gave her this strange glow that made her more and more attractive every time she spoke. "Yeah your right, because that would mean I'd have to be running faster than 2 miles per hour." He's say jokingly to her as he watched her begin to look at her wardrobe. His face beginning to turn red as he begin staring at her physical features for the first time. "Yeah.... I mean that would be a terrible.... Terrible idea to go running in that... Uh huh." He'd say as his face remained in awe before she went in her room looking for her biking shorts.
"Yeah, I guess I can go with you. But you better not get hurt. I don't feel like having to look for a new roommate." He'd say opening the door for her so they could leave and head out to the big city to do some running. He couldn't wait to see what the prissy girl gone bad had to offer.

(ENTRANCE POST)
She nodded “Where would we be without google?” She grinned and laughed as he bowed and let her in. She was thinking about food now so it was easy for her to overcome her muscle ache a little as she had climbed the stairs fairly quickly, considering. They got to the door and Musashi had began to unlock it. Without turning towards her, he refused her offer to pay “Oh you don’t have to be a ‘gentleman all the time’ Fine, fine, I will get the next one, maybe by then I’ll figure out what your favorite food it!” She blurted without thinking Ugh where is this going, where is my head today?. Still not looking at her, Musashi opened the door and before walking inside he spoke again.
‘I think I’m going to like being your roommate’
Mack’s first defence was to make a joke, but she felt this was some kind of test. She was sure he must have figured out by now just how guarded she was. And somehow, she didn’t want to just blow the possibility of of the water “Yeah, You’re alright, I suppose. We’ll have good times together,” She said giving him tiny smile and she left it at that. With a bow, he let her into the building and she obliged.
“Go ahead and have a shower first, I’ll have a look at our options, and you’ll probably be a little quicker than me!” She told him “This hair takes a little bit of battling with” She said before undoing it from it’s binds and letting it spill over her shoulders in golden lengths. It looked very messed up and her bangs were matted a little with sweat. She tried running her fingers through it and they got stuck half way. Giving up on that she walked into her room to get her phone and opened a web browser. Phone in hand Mack threw herself down on the couch and physically sighed with relief “Ahh! I don’t think I can move from this spot again!” She exclaimed stretching out her limbs and sighing happily before moving her phone in front of her face.
She looked around on her phone, but man was her heart racing. This dinner seemed a bit like the final stage to them both figuring out weather they were going to enjoy being roommates with one another. Maybe… she should just relax… and go with the flow. This was her new life afterall. She should try to make it better… and Musashi was certainly just that… better. Better than her, better than anyone from her old life.
She shopped around on her phone and tried to deside what she wanted. Chinese food was always great and there were plenty around who delivered. There were also some curry places who delivered, and then, she could always just go with good old dominos pizza. She read all of the menus, and her stomatch began to actually audibly complain that it was empty and had been empty all day long. It was getting to be late afternoon to early evening and all she’s had was a cup of tea. “Special fried rice… Butter chicken… hn… Oh I don’t care at all! Anything is fine!.”
