A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Ruby felt that a gift worth money was far more valuable than the two mere words of "thank you." She didn't want to argue, but she really didn't think that--
She halted in her confused thoughts when he turned to look at her, and she could feel her eyes lock onto his. That is, the one eye that wasn't hidden under her eye patch. She didn't know why he was staring--why was he staring? No, it wasn't like he was being weird, it was just eye contact which was polite. She tried not to get flustered about it, but then he approached her and... hugged her?
She could feel her face heating up when the boy embraced her, and she didn't know what to do, so she sat there, petrified. Should she hug him back?? This was embarrassing--and why was he hugging her? He was saying something to her but she only registered half of it. Something about opening up more so the others would trust her, or something.
When the boy finally let go of her and sat down beside her, Ruby would still be as stiff as a rock, her face bright red--and she didn't know why. A hug was a sign of affection or appreciation, why on earth had he given her a hug?? He didn't like her in that way and there really wasn't anything to thank her for, so why?? She couldn't deny it felt... nice... to be hugged... but...
Ruby would loosen her grip on the bench after realizing that she'd been gripping it with her hands in the first place. She was still stiff as a rock and her face was still as red as a tomato, but she had to say something so it didn't look like she was as completely flustered as she was!
"O-o-o-ok-okay..." She'd manage to choke out, despite herself.
What she'd said "okay" to? Who knows.

Not that you weren't feeling bad earlier or anything but... yeah..." Her being flustered was making him feel awkward, now even his face was starting to go red, well that was awkward. He'd look away to make it not obvious though, he wasn't doing a very good job. Even more Post highlights |

Ruby would nod slightly at what he said. "Yeah, I feel fine, thanks..." She'd say. The girl would take in a deep breath and hold it for a moment, calming her thoughts down a little before exhaling. "Three boys I've hugged now..." She murmured quietly. She assumed it would be four if she counted her brother, but she wasn't sure if she should. "Possibly four," she'd add quietly.
Ruby would look over to Yukine, wondering, "So, you're from Japan, huh? What's it like there?"

I might be a little reluctant, since I have my new "family" to be with and they mean more to me than a simple visit to japan, so yeah." he'd look up at the sky again "So what about you, what was england like? Ruby nodded, taking in his words and descriptions of Japan. She was a little more curious than wanting to hear 'amazing', but she supposed it would have to do for now. She would shrug when Yukine asked her what England was like. She'd only been living there for about a year or so, not too long, but she had to make it look like she knew the place well.
"It was boring," she'd say bluntly. "The people there were alright, but overall... I don't know... it was just... depressing." She frowned a bit, realizing she probably only felt that way because of the fact she'd felt like she'd just lost everything and was trying to start over again, but ultimately, she had been so depressed during that time. She was so dejected, she wondered why she'd even continued on... she'd managed to get a job, and since she had an eye patch people treated her nicer, and some even with respect, but still... she'd felt so heartbroken--no. That wasn't even a fitting word. It was like her heart had been made of glass--already tarnish and scratched, but still together. But then a fire melted it into an ugly shape, and when the glass cooled again, it had been dropped and shattered into a million pieces--never to recover.
She was glad that she had hung on, keeping hold of the little fragments. If she hadn't, she wouldn't have discovered her brother was, in fact, alive. She wouldn't have met Musashi or Dan, or Yukine or any of the others... she wouldn't have found somewhere where... she felt that she belonged.
"This school... it's full of misfits, isn't it?" She wondered aloud. It seemed like she'd met so many different kinds of people, all so unique and odd and definitely not considered normal.

He'd let out a little chuckle then upon hearing what she said next he'd say "Well, misfits is the wrong word. We're all unique in our own ways, sure we aren't exactly behaved or anything but misfits? that's a word the world gives to people it's scared of so that they can lock them away, we're perfectly normal people. I mean sure, some of us committed horrible things but hey... We should love who we are, not what we are." After this he'd turn towards the school "We'll make it a better place, alongside Musashi..." Ruby would listen to what he said. She... she couldn't deny that she slightly liked him now for it, his morals seemed to be better than she thought. "That's what I meant by misfits, I suppose..." she'd say quietly. But he was right. They'd all done things before, and other people might not like them for it and decided to lock them away... but they were still human and they still had worth... at least, most of them were.
She still had a hard time seeing herself as being the same as them.
The girl would slip on the ring Yukine had given her, and she'd take a moment to look at her hands. They looked just like Yukine's... the two of them really weren't all that different. But yet, they also were.
"It's in my blood," she thought to herself. "It's not something you can see... but I'm pretty sure that out of all of the students inside, my life as a demon is far less valuable than theirs..."
She would keep her thoughts to herself, closing her eyes and shrug. "I don't really know. I've never been to a school before, this is my first... and everyone, from what I've seen, is really pretty nice... but I know that it could probably get better, and when Musashi says it's corrupt he probably knows more about it than I do, so I have to trust him..." She would take a moment and give out a small sigh, leaning back a bit on the bench. "I'm not really sure how I feel about it... I have nothing to feel... but you know... Musashi was one of the first people ever to be genuinely nice to me in... well... my entire life..."
Ruby would say the last part quietly, and he words suddenly sounded a lot more timid and meek, unlike how she usually spoke: with confidence.
The white-haired girl would open her eyes and look down at her hands, gently folding them into loose fists. "He's even saved my life before, in his own sort of way. He's very special to me, you know? And I want to always be by his side, no matter what happens, or no matter what his plans are. I trust him, and I know for a fact he's a good person... so no matter what happens, or whatever stands against us, I want to be by his side because that's what it should be like... and then there's Dan, and you and the others as well. You've all been very kind to me in your own ways, and frankly... I want to protect you guys. I failed to protect the most important person in my life once before, and I don't want to fail at that again, you know? If being in this gang can help me grow stronger to protect those dear to me... even if I have to die for it... it wouldn't be so bad..."

Well I'm glad you see him as that important, he could use someone to keep him from doing stubborn things" Yukine would laugh at his comment "But seriously, you'll never have to die protecting us, we'll all protect you our very best, you're a part of Titans and letting a member die isn't what we do, so don't ever worry about dying. I mean it's good you'd set your life out for us, we'd all day the same but you really don't need to worry, remember, as long as you have that Ring, Musashi and Titans, you'll be safe, I promise, I'll be there to protect you when no one else can, so will everyone else but hey..." Yukine would pause, stand up and walk over to her, put his finger on her chin and push her head up a little "Chin up soldier, we need you to be strong, alright?" Yukine would then pat her head and walk towards a tree situated in the middle of the courtyard and he would then mumble something to himself "I know exactly how you feel Ruby... I really do..." Ruby nodded at what he said. All of his words made sense, and she didn't honestly think she'd ever end up liking him quite like she did now. "I see now why Musashi chose you as his right-hand man," she said with a small smile, even after he'd walked away a bit.
She would stand to get feet and follow him to the tree, tapping his shoulder lightly. "But, what do you mean about that? Does Musashi do stubborn things much? I don't think I'd be able to do anything about it, really..."

Yukine would look at Ruby "It was sort of a joke, what I meant was, someone to make sure he doesn't do something really stupid, like try to attack the pillars on his own, though, I HIGHLY doubt he'd even try that but I think you get what I mean, right? If not then it doesn't really matter, since it was just sort of a joke to be honest" Yukine would say as she tapped him on the shoulder.
"Oh by the way, when DID you meet musashi? I'm just slightly curious, since I only ever met you randomly by joining Titans, you don't have to answer, I was just slightly curious." He'd turn his head towards Ruby, noticing a small smile, well hopefully she decided to answer his question since he was honestly curious about how they met.

Ruby nodded, understanding his words. "I see," she said. "Well, then I guess if he did, for whatever reason, try to do something stupid, I would do my best to stop him!" She'd grin a bit, but then stop when he asked the question of when they'd met.
"Oh... I don't remember exactly when, to be honest..." she muttered quietly, frowning a little. She would turn her head back to the school and then point to the roof. "I was on the roof when I met him though, that much I do remember. I was... leaning off the edge of the railing to get a better look..." Her words became slow and quiet, either reminiscent or from loss of memory as she tried to search for the truth of what had really happened.
"I didn't think it was bad or anything... but he pulled me off, afraid I was going to fall and kill myself... he didn't even know me..." She stopped her words, staring up at the roof where she felt she'd been safe, but could easily have fallen without her grappling gear. "And yet... I don't know... he just helped out a random stranger who, for all he knew, could have been a horrible, evil being... but he didn't seem to care." She would shrug a little. "I was really stupid. I wish we'd met in another way, like normal people. Normal people meet up in classrooms or in the halls, or they meet when they become neighbors. But noo, I just had to nearly fall off a roof. I swear..."
She didn't finish her sentence, but it wasn't too hard to guess she was pretty embarrassed about it, and somewhat ashamed she had a hard time being normal.
"And I'd met Dan at this tree, he was climbing it and I was already in it. He'd fallen and thought I was a valkyrie or something..." She'd sigh a bit, thinking, "Why can't I be normal?? Oh well..."

Yukine would look Ruby in the eye as she told him everything and then he'd look away about half way through, still listening though, then when she finished, Yukine let out a loud laugh "That's a pretty awesome way to meet someone y'know? Dangerous, scary and worrying sure but it's still a lot better than just meeting in a classroom and saying Hai, lets be friends, to that's pretty cool." Yukine would look around again, he didn't seem to want to stay still. "I met musashi in japan, like I said, simply just around the streets... We used to get up to all sorts, got into a lot of fights, and other stuff, it was pretty fun, I enjoyed it..." He'd say as he looked down.

Ruby raised an eyebrow. He thought it was interesting how they'd met? "Well, that makes one of us," she said quietly. She would listen to what he said, and she thought it was pretty interesting how he'd met Musashi as well. Just seen him around and ended up getting involved with each other... even getting in fights. She didn't know if he meant they fought with each other, or fought with each other against other people, but she figured there was probably both times. Kind of like how she'd sparred with Musashi, herself...
"So... do you like violence, then?" She asked quietly, looking at him.

Yukine would laugh a little then sigh "See, I don't like violence, sure... I get into fights a lot and it's usually my own fault but violence, is not something I love, it's something I despise and loathe, something I want to see the world rid of, sure that's going to be impossible but... if we can stop it even just a little, then we've done better than most other people have ever done and that in itself is something to be proud of, so while I dislike violence, I am also trying to find a way to make the world less violent, though... I doubt I'll ever manage to make such a big change anytime soon, if at all" he'd say to her, he'd look into her eyes and you'd be able to see the truth pour out his eyes, It wouldn't be hard to know he was telling the complete truth.

Ruby nodded. "Mhm..." She hummed quietly. She was silent for a while, not really knowing what to say. She liked his goal of wanting to stop as much violence as was possible, but she knew it would be hard... "I agree with you. I really, truly hate violence with a passion... but yet, I've been forced to learn how to fight and even kill if I must, and though I hate to hurt people, if I feel that I have to, I will... and if people are fighting, you can't just jump into the fray and stop them with words, sometimes you do have to take action... and I guess that's a part of the reason why I'm here. I want to become stronger so I'm not so easily beaten, so that I can at least do more about things than standing idly by..." She would pause a moment before taking in a deep breath and exhaling.
"That's just the way it is, I guess... and one day, I honestly do hope I'd get to abandon my closest companion. I hope that one day there won't be a need for a sword or weapon," she'd say quietly. To her, her companion was her sword, as she had much history with it and in its own way it was her friend, but that was another story.
