A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

cool & calm Sarah sat in the courtyard of the school after the assembly regarding the choice to add a force to the pillars formed of students who wanted to apply. She considered whether or not she would be interested in it but the same thing stuck out in her mind, it was unnecessary attention. At least with the idea of getting a Dragon title she would have the luxury of a reputation to go with it. Pillars were a bit further down from her understanding, and she could easily deal with having a Dragon title every day at school but the idea of the responsibilities that came with being a pillar? It attracted far too much attention.
She sat cross legged, meditating with Buster resting against a nearby tree as she thought it over. Her eyes both shut tightly, the left thanks to sigil but the right was so that she could focus. The meditation was to clear her minds so that she could get an understanding of what it was about this that put her on edge. She wasn't sure exactly if it was the new headmaster or if it was the students reaction.

It seemed someone liked to nap just as much as he did, considering his spot was no longer open; and instead he found a red head lying there in wait. With a raised brow, the teenager padded his way over to the seemingly sleeping individual to find out that she was awake...and in fact a familiar face. She'd probably heard him approach but that didn't make his greeting any less subtle, simply crouching down in front of her with a slightly tilted head; almost on the verge of saying something but refraining himself a moment. The first question that came to mind was why exactly she was sitting here, the second thing he wanted to know was just how he was going to greet her at this point. Contemplation certainly arose and finally Danny smirked, setting palms against his knees. "I thought napping during school was my thing? Guess I was wrong huh, Louise?"
At that, he left the joke hanging there; backside meeting the grass. Being shortly followed by his back, the sun casting a rather bright haze over his eyes; both lids coming down in hopes of blocking out the infernal rays. This was why he preferred a tree...but looking past the sun...or more so away from it...a few oddly shaped clouds were visible. They provided a moment of entertainment, still awaiting the girl's response quietly. Come to think of it, was this his tree? He'd slept under most all of them and they looked considerably the same. No doubt he'd find the tree sooner or later, maybe he could scratch a small mark into it. Whatever worked. Though he knew Sarah was sitting under this one.

cool & calm "Holy shit you go here?!?!" She asked as her eye shot open so hard it nearly opened her left eye with the force behind it. She knew someone had sat in front of her but she was so focused on thinking that the thought of it being her employer hadn't occurred to her. "God damnit there's a lot of rich kids here..." She scratched the back of her head as she thought about what he had asked her. She recalled he had been sleeping on that building and she wasn't sure if he was a serial napper but he made it sound that way for certain.
"Sorry I was meditating. Something I've been trying to do more, part of my religious practices and all. I mean, spiritual might be more accurate. Witchy stuff. Anywho, just hoping my brain could figure out what doesn't sit well with the assembly that just happened. Were you awake for that?" She asked, not really sure what his opinion was on the matter but knowing that hers was torn. At the end of the day she didn't like the pillar system but she didn't like what was going on with this either, it felt like it would stir up a lot of students and further distract from studies. Wasn't the school supposed to focus on education? How would this further test scores and student involvement in the classroom?
More importantly. Did Sarah even care?

She'd picked up well on one of his more prevalent hobbies, but the sense of surprise interested him more so. It was amusing to think that they'd been going to the same school all this time and it'd hardly been noticed. He wasn't upset of course considering he barely moved too often unless it was to go to class...probably the only thing he took seriously. School was for education after all...and the occasional assembly such as the one he'd also attended. Out of the whole introduction he found several things suspicious but the one that drew the most reaction was his mention of students not wearing uniforms. He wore his most every day and to be called out for something like that was a bit ridiculous, though he knew the problems lied with the system the headmaster hoped to put in place.
There were supporters and dissenters but that was to be expected out of every argument. In fact, he hadn't thought much on which side he was on; vying for power wasn't particularly his thing...and as long as it didn't affect his classes it would have been fine. Perhaps when he developed sizable strengths he'd consider having some fun with it...but it'd never be for the power; unless of course there was something wrong with the school system. Which he hadn't been able to examine quite yet considering his relative new appearance at the school. "I think change is always unsettling for most, plenty of doubts ya know? All new things have their problems of course, I just don't know the headmaster well enough to trust him is all." That was about as far as Danny could summarize his opinion, at least without going into it further. It was true, a man making promises like that couldn't always be trusted; especially when he conveyed that he was doing good....

cool & calm "I think that's my main worry," She explained as she thought about it over and over. "The students probably aren't going to trust this guy and so they are probably going to be extremely defensive toward the change. When you think about it, it could be good. With Riot, Orochi, Fear, all that. Having more hands on deck that aren't focused on beating each other up to assert dominance? That sounds like a great idea."
She relaxed her legs out in front of her and pulled some grass out of the ground absentmindedly, letting her right foot wake up by resting on her left hip more than her right, working on her circulation a bit more in doing so. "So if enough decide to get all anti-establishment... that could really turn us against ourselves and weaken us to attack. The thing is, I don't care enough to take measures against it you know? I'm content just keeping myself and those close to me safe."

He understood exactly where she was coming from, he himself feeling a similar way. As long as he got his education and his friends weren't harmed there was little need for him to get involved. Of course, if he were in the middle of it...that would be a different story. Leave people to die...no, but go out of his way to ensure their safety? No. He could leave that much to the heroes, the people who thought they could handle any situation with a flick of the wrist. At the thought he rolled his own, joints cracking slightly as he flexed his fingers. "I feel the same, though I've less people to care for than most. So...in a way...I feel like they are more important to me. You for example...." His eyes wandered the courtyard as he spoke, almost trying to distract himself from the serious nature of his words. He'd hit the nail on the head when addressing his own situation...but he tried his best not to acknowledge it too much.
Focus laid with Sarah's ideas, not his own problems. "I feel with time...if people want change such as this...it will come about by itself. Can't force people to have feelings they don't have after all...." Danny gave a brisk nod, finally looking over to her as hands settled behind him. Fingers sliding through the grass as he examined her expression, his own softening slightly. It seemed like the time she was sleeping beside him on that rooftop, it was...surprisingly peaceful...at least in his opinion. In fact, that same look brought a smile to his features; giving no explanation before simply letting it die out. A rather curious gaze coming over him as he opened his mouth once again. "What's your opinion on me?" Another random question, of course that was what the teen was good at. More or less he found there were a few things he wanted to know, and this was likely the best question to ask in order to find out.

cool & calm Danny had a point, in that you really couldn't force people to feel a certain way. Even if she came out and explained her side of it they would probably either agree with her like they would have before, or write her off as someone who was trying to get in this guy's good graces. The truth was she didn't care for this school, she didn't care for the people in it. She didn't feel compelled to fight, but she also wouldn't just stand by if there was something she knew she could do. Not entirely, anyway. She thought of Aegis, and how that had been a mistake. It was an unknown she went into, and she lost because of it. She lost an arm and had to pull out every trick she had just to keep up with him in a one on one fight.
When Danny had mentioned Sarah being an example of someone she cared about her eyes narrowed slightly, she didn't like the idea that she was someone that somebody cared about. She didn't want to be someone's reason for getting into trouble or anything like that. Not again. Of course, when it came time that he asked his question she took a deep breath in through her nose, her eyes both shut as she considered it for a moment. He had been there in a vulnerable time, so she didn't consider her feelings from that day to be completely helpful to her, but she felt like she could trust him and he seemed reasonable so far. He obviously valued life if nothing else, and he hadn't fought her.
That was a big lean in the direction of her liking him as a person. "You are sensible, nice even. You have a strange sense of humor, but you are lowkey down to party on a small scale. You seem to at least value others lives, and you don't seem to punch at your problems. You're the kind of person worth protecting. You're someone who I'd get the hell out of here for safety reasons if we were attacked, in short." She opened her eye and looked over to him, "Your turn."

It had happened again...a random question now turned against him. In honesty he should have foreseen such a thing, but he never really put much thought into asking in the first place...he just did it subconsciously. Why he'd wanted to know the answer to such a question was slightly out of reach...but there was something there that he could voice, at least at the moment. "I care about you. More so than others, but besides the cheese and shit I just said...I value your ideals, you hold a certain charm to me...hell if I know what it is, and I'm simply glad to have you around me. The rooftop 'incident' definitely portrayed a soft side I know you have, despite the usual joking and what not. I don't have many other friends so to speak, as I said...but you're enough I suppose. Not to mention I can relate, but yeah...that's all I got right now." At that, he gave her one last glance before his back met the grass once again; gaze set up between the tree leaves.
He'd obviously said way more than he should have, but 'rambling' was something that Danny had found that he was rather good at. None of it was ramble...but it still felt as though a lot had been said. He wasn't used to having company after all...and this company had given him the warmth he'd thought about that night. Betrayal was a fear of his, as it always was...but he didn't feel it would be a problem with this girl. She cared for her friends, just as he did. That was all he needed to know. "Main point is, you're worth protecting...even though you don't need it from me." His eyes closed, shimmying slightly as he better acquainted himself with his position on the ground.

cool & calm She nodded along to his answer, understanding what he had meant by it and definitely feeling like it was a shared sentiment. There was a connection, didn't know what it was but it was a relating sort of connection with her rooftop behavior. He was someone she could chill back and smoke with, and someone who was nice enough to give her some work to do that would help her meet ends more regularly. Besides, his place was kind of nice to be in sometimes.
"That's fair," She said as she sprinkled torn up grass over her leg. She was mostly trying to find a way to be comfortable and play around at the same time, her skirt draping over her knees as she chuckled, "Yeah, I really don't need protecting. I mean, from myself maybe but I've since fallen off of a building as high as the other one." She raised her arm up to show a small bruise on her elbow, "That was all it did. I guess I'm... a little more durable than I imagined. So I mean thanks but you guessed it, I might be okay. Who knows though, I might not be. There might be something you can protect me from yet, Mr. Money Bags."

The teen grinned ecstatically, eyes still wandering the tree limbs as a hand slid over his chest. Fingers curling slowly by gently gripping his suit; inciting a small crease in the otherwise immaculate fabric. "You only want me for my money? How dastardly of you my dear~" He mocked, smile subsiding as he came back up into a sitting position, more so forming into a contented, slightly curious expression. She at the very least felt he was worth something, that much was valuable enough as it laid. Not really deserving such treatment himself, he gave her a slow, subtle nod. "In any case, I'm sure I could talk some sense into you if you're ever feeling out of sorts. Just have to come see me, which I would also enjoy." He chimed, never denying the opportunity to have such company over at the apartment. It was considerably easier to entertain her than it was most other guests. At this point there was a sense of familiarity, a sensation uncommon to the otherwise desolate teen.
Daniel let out a small hum, stretching arms above his head as eyes gave way to the grass that peppered her leg. "So that makes me emotional support and financial support, I can dig it. As long as you can provide something in return I'm all for it actually. What you do now is just fine to pay me back." He clarified, not wanting her to think there were any contingencies to his help. In fact, continued relations seemed to be the only thing he wanted from her; cleaning was just a means of helping her out but he wouldn't have done it anyway. So it was beneficial to have someone help him around the apartment. Danny ran a palm over his stubble, rolling his neck slightly with another easy sigh. The truth was, he was actually just asking her to be good to him and he would be in return. Mutual benefit was always the best one after all.

cool & calm "Well of course, what you think you're interesting or something?" She was joking of course but messing with him was kind of fun for her. As for her going to him for help it seemed a little bit like he was suggesting hanging out in a non work capacity but between her three jobs and school that time would be limited. Though talking to him while cleaning his place was always an option, that much was for sure. "Yeah, totally. I mean it'll be on the clock while I clean inevitably cus time is an issue for me but otherwise that's an option for me."
She chuckled, "I provide a clean place to live for the financial part. That's a fair trade Mr. Money Bags, as for the emotional support that's on you if you offer it. But I suppose I can return the favor from time to time, or beat someone up for you. Just tell me who, where, when, that sort of thing and I'd gladly knock some sense into someone." It was true, she was pretty strong and had no reserves about beating someone up. Sometimes she was better at that than talking.

The teenager perked a brow, obviously amused with her chiding and the occasional nickname. More or less though it seemed "Mr. Moneybags" was going to be a recurring theme, not that he minded for the most part but he couldn't help but think of whose money it was. Shaking his head slowly he let a smirk reach the beginning of his cheeks, quietly glancing up to her as a hand settled along one side of his lower jaw; head tilting with the motion. "I consider myself interesting, so much so that you have taken the time out of such a busy schedule in order to talk to me." He raised a brow, eyes glinting slightly as a few desolate rays passed through the trees before glancing off his irises. Almost vying for an appealing visage, in hopes to further advance his playful (mischievous) intentions. "Don't you agree?" Laughter threatened to break the facade he had created, slowly falling apart internally; on the exterior never faulting in his display. He felt ridiculous but perhaps there was some value to be gained; mainly in the way of getting her to laugh even somewhat. More than likely he'd get another snarky quip with "Money bags" somewhere in there. Inevitably though his expression wouldn't hold up forever, considering his own building anticipation and amusement. Of course at this point they'd strayed from the topic they'd originally planned on talking about but he figured that was the way conversations went. Most were very spontaneous and didn't require direction to get somewhere new. This felt very similar if not exact to that logic of thinking. Eventually he rose back up, hand sliding from his cheek to the back of his neck. "I'm stupid I know, just forget that even happened." That was the best he could do in way of apology but he still seemed rather ecstatic, smiling as he had apologized. Despite napping he put on the appearance of someone who was rather active...it was a shame past trauma inhibited him so, but there was little chance of him seeking help. If he was going to pass it, he knew it would be without professionals. It wasn't any psychological shit or medicine that they would prescribe, for now it was sleeping...or talking as it was now. Sarah Crestwell. (Couldn't resist)
