A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

{ "Knuckles" } { words ### } { spectators welcome. lg/aw fight }
After the challenge LG issued against the Titans, Macht figured the timing for the challenge he wanted to issue would be appropriate. After speaking with Knuckles, the two came to the conclusion that they weren't just going to sit back and let LG have what they wanted, anymore. No, now they were going to fight to take it. Each of the two had a personal stake in this and the time to sit around and let it go ignored had long since passed.
Macht had called for a challenge to all of LG, to take place behind The Underground. He stepped outside of his club, fully expecting these people to show, simply for the fact that many of them were too hot-headed not to. On top of that, the terms couldn't have been anything Leon would pass up too lightly. After all, if Apex lost, they'd have to join LG's ranks.
The German paced the back alley, keeping a pathway cleared for what he assumed would be a large fight, if only given the sheer numbers to be present for it. Behind him, 30 men stood with chains, forming a wall of sorts to prevent any attacks from behind.
//FURTHER NOTES: Spectators ARE welcomed. However, getting involved in the fight is advised against. Any spectators who do choose to get involved will fall under the same terms as LG: Losing will have your character forced into Apex's ranks.
Details of the challenge will be made in my next post.

"Apex and LG..."
Valo sat on the edge of a nearby rooftop, getting a clear view of the alleyway. The bottom half of his face was covered with a mask while dressed in the rest of his Hyperion gear, and he kept a close watch on the happenings below. Red eyes would keep track of every single individual to enter the alleyway, but right now, he would keep them trained on Macht. Why was he making such a bold move like this? What was he planning? Was he going to become a threat, or was he doing something for the greater good?
He would keep a directional microphone aimed at the alleyway so he could catch what was said once everyone started showing up. He needed to know why this was happening, and where Apex stood in the balance of things. He didn't want Macht to be an enemy down the road.

Cedric navigated through the crowd of allies making sure to show them his patch so they didn't get twitchy and jump him thinking he was from the LG. as he walked towards his pacing Leader he felt his pulse quickening, with the amount of people here this was going to be a major battle and the thought excited him, after all while he certainly wasn't the strongest among Apex he doubted anyone actually enjoyed the fighting as much as he did. But for now Cedric was going to have to wait impatiently taking up position just in front of the 30 guys with chains keeping an eye out for the LG.

Post by Felix Booker on Oct 23, 2015 2:09:28 GMT -5
Felix was making himself a bowl of cereal when he got the message. LG was being called out by Apex? He felt his pulse quicken; they were being called out. He grinned, throwing on a white shirt, his usual yellow bomber jacket, and a pair of breathable joggers. Of course he grabbed his pair of vintage J's, "Never leave home without em." He would say, as he ritualistically brushed off the logo of Michael Jordan, the dunk master, for his blessing.
He put them on and headed out the door, his mom was sleeping from a double shift at work; not wanting to worry her, he quietly shut the door behind him. Felix stepped out onto the street checking his phone for the location. He sighed as he gauged the distance from where he was to the club. "I'm in for a bit of a run." He said to no one, a couple walked by giving him a queer look as he talked to himself. "What're you looking at? Stop checking out my ass. YEAH YOU!" He antagonized them a bit a devilish grin on his face as he began the 'long' run.
He ran slower than normal, not wanting to waste all his energy before the battle even started. Despite his slower pace and the distance, he was there in fifteen minutes, striding confidently into the alleyway his head held high.
Surprisingly he was the first one there, the thought that he was alone with a rival gang made him extremely nervous, but he wouldn't let it show. He had to represent LG proudly . . . even if he was only a fifteen year old that felt he was up against the world. He would walk up to Macht, standing a mere foot apart. Felix found himself having to look up at the red head. A crooked smile was plastered on his face as usual, and also as usual before he could stop himself he was already rambling.
"You guys order a Felix with an extra side of asswhooping?" He eyeballed Macht before realizing the guy only had one eye! He shuddered thinking of what he'd probably been through to earn that one. "So you're the School Captain?" he'd ask nonchalantly trying to hide the fact that he was just coming to regret his decision of rushing over.
He noted that the older boy had a full foot on him. Though it wasn't the size difference that intimidated Felix, it was the way he carries himself like he owned the damn place. Felix smiled wider, "So what's up, you call me over cus' you want the secrets to my haircut?" He'd lean to the side to see past Macht, looking at what seemed to be the main force of Apex.
He also noted with a fair bit of surprise Cedric was there too. Turning back to Macht he'd ask, "This the 'I love my school captain fan club'? Because I'd love to join. I've had my eyes on y- . . ." Felix would pause looking mildly distressed as he continued cautiously. "Oh is that a sensitive topic . . . Y'know . . . The fact that you're a pirate." He paused again feeling the conversation had taken an awkward turn. He said the first thing that game to his mind. "ARRR you ready to fight matey?" Perfect.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | "Do I have to take a right?..." Al thought out loud as he peeked at both ways. "Yeah, it was right.... But what if it's left?" Fuck it, he turned right anyway. It was bad enough that he missed the last gang fight, so he made sure he'll go on this one, hopefully, he ain't late yet. "Ah! Hi there, finally found you guys. Fancy meeting ya'll here. The cab broke and I had to walk a fair bit...." He said scratching his head, why was he even telling this to them? Looking at the side, it seems like Felix was already busy talking to the Cyborg School Captain. Clearing his throat, he spoke once again. "Uhh... So, do we fight or something? I need to catch up on my telenovela at seven."

Allen stepped around the corner, his sword sticking up over his right shoulder. His hands were in his pockets, and he was ready for some shit. In all honesty, he hadn't expected this move despite the argument that some saw it as inevitable. See, Apex wasn't....exactly a force that stuck their nose in other peoples business. They didn't act like an open-ended gang that just wanted to bring others down. Not to mention, Allen actually got along with Macht well enough, and considered Knuckles a friend. So this move interested him. He would grin and slap Felix on the back before giving Hex a nod.
"Cheer up, fellas. This'll be a piece of cake."
He looked to those gathered. Behind him, fifteen men of LG followed, pipes and chains in their own hands. Leon would follow soon enough with the rest. He could hear the rumble of Aaron's car in the distance, indicating he and Phoebe would be here. Macht, of course, stood at the forefront. Allen, Captain of LG, would stroll right up to him unafraid, grinning as he stared up at the monster. His men around him would intimidate some....but Allen was either too stupid or too brave to care. Likely both.
"So. How you want this to go down big guy?"

Allen was correct! Leon did show up with the rest of the LG standing army. Leon was also not as surprised as some that this went down. He knew his challenge issued to Titans would be taken this way, and it would start some shit between the gangs. Though it was a little off, that it came from Apex. There had been a usual understanding between the two major groups ever since their dealings with RIOT, Leon also trusted Knuckles enough to openly talk with the guy. Though since the Titan challenge, he wondered if this had something to do with Ira...
Looking around so far, the number of LG outnumbered Apex a bit, but not everyone was present. As well Leon saw some new faces among Apex. No telling how big Apex was, not to mention the larger threat being School Captain Macht... Leon would wave for the fifteen that were with him to join up with the other half, as he walked up to the front, though watching Allen from a tad bit away. Allen apparently already asking the important questions.
Macht had it right though, this opportunity would be difficult to pass up. However, he didn't know if anyone in LG was prepared to fight on this scale. The smaller insignificant gangs sure, that was supposed to be the testing grounds. Apex and Hyperion weren't even on the list of gangs that were unneeded. Though Leon was unsure as to the level of leadership Macht was capable of. So far his pillars didn't even like him and that didn't bode well, besides Macht's stance on loyalty to RIOT. Leon would fold his arms and wait.

[OoC: Spectating for now, may get drawn in. Posting so that I can get updates on the thread. hehe]
First Titans, then Apex. Lightning Gang sure had its hands full with conflict. Jude received the mass alert on his burner phone as usual. Unlike the challenge against Titans, this one was not instigated by LG, and the opposing party had several heavy hitters. Intriguing, to say the least. All Jude knew about Apex was that the School Captain himself was a leader. Jude berated himself for not having done more research on the gangs of 552. It was silly to assume that just because he didn't want to get involved with them, he didn't need to have intel. Although, he supposed that now might as well be the time to catch up on that knowledge.
I can't believe I'm spending a good $10 on this BS...Jude set his mind to work while he rode in a taxi towards The Underground. He knew two things for sure: 1. The audacious rascals of LG (read: the majority of them) weren't going to turn down this tussle, and 2. On the contrary, he himself was not keen on taking a punch to the face, especially not one from a certain mechanical fist. The best course of action for now would be to observe from a safe vantage point.
After arriving, Jude scanned the vicinity. Apex and LG had personnel at the ready. The fight looked like it would take place in a single alley behind the club, where the gangs had blocked off the ends. Jude briefly considered watching from an adjacent building, but decided that a closer angle would be better. He displayed his temporary tattoo and pushed his way through the 30 odd LG members until he reached a mostly obscured spot that still had a clear view of the alley. Jude hoped that his attempt to blend in was decent enough. All Asians look alike, right?
From his position, Jude recognized several familiar faces: Leon, Allen, Felix, Aldritch, Cedric, and someone that had to be Macht. Jude focused his senses and waited for the conversation to begin. This group of people formed a volatile concoction, and Jude was fully ready to abandon the figurative lab if things went south.

The roar of motorcycle could be heard as the young outlaw approached The Underground. To be honest, Knuckles wasn't even sure what he was doing right now. He was being pulled in two different directions. But he had obligations. He was suppose to stand strong with his brotherhood. Despite not really wanting to harm the Hollows family, Austin would have to fight this day.
Parking his motorcycle near the backside of the club, Knuckles would stroll up toward the growing crowd, casually slipping through the line of brutish Apex Warriors as he moved to stand near Macht, though set off to his right. His right hand would reside near the front of his belt, thumb tucked in. His left hand lifting to brush his thumb across the front of his nose twice before casting a glance toward Allen, followed by a small nod. As if to say 'Sorry, buddy'.
He also chose to remain silent. Those hazel hues also shifting to Leon. He didn't hate the guy. Hell, kinda liked him. But this was just the game they chose to play. They weren't on the same team. And now these two trains were coming to a head. And this collision was bound to be brutal. Leon would recieve a similar nod to that of Allen.
We need to win this.. My father's legacy is at stake. I can't let them take the last of him away!

Aaron killed the engine of his car as he rolled around the corner, noticing the back of the mass of human flesh that piled in the Allen. He had a second LG tat on his wrist, making it easier to show he was one of them than showing the massive Tree made of lightning tattooed on his back. He got out with Phoebe, closing and locking the door as he headed toward the back of LG. Making his way to the front with Phoebe in toe, he would put a hand on Leon's shoulder.
"Perhaps you should step into the negotiations, Leon. Allen is a little hot blooded for this."
He was too stubborn and headstrong...Leon was far more civilized. Still, his eyes would lock on Knuckles and stare unblinkingly as though to say....
'I told you what would happen if you hurt my family. I will burn your world to the ground.'
Hot blood must run in the family.

Bee had been nervously fidgeting on the way over. Probably best she had travelled in the car, else she would have burned off too much energy by foot, as she would have been trying to shed the feeling by physical movement. Her gaze twitched. Ever since she'd heard the challenge issued...she'd felt a tangle of emotions. She hadn't thought Austin would be so quick to this...
Hadn't thought this heading would come for a long time. Actually, she'd hoped never. Naïve? Probably. She practically jumped out of the passenger seat after twisting out of the belt, and would anxiously keep pace with Aaron, coming up to the front of the group. Her tattoo was hidden beneath her coat, but she was one of the more familiar figureheads in LG. She'd stepped down from her position as Captain to let Allen have it, because he needed to grow and to gain a sense of responsibility.
Bee drew to a stop and brushed at her bangs, her hair swept back. Worried, wary, and questioning...she stared at Austin, emerald eyes flickering. Why..? She could see he was...she wasn't sure. But he wasn't entirely comfortable. It...she didn't like this! What was going on and why had he agreed?!

Post by Ira Defaire on Oct 23, 2015 20:10:29 GMT -5
Rain had fallen most days of autumn, the city trees appeared swollen, their crests enlarged. They were reflecting her anxiety; agitated purely through the playful winds of war.
When she looked, Bordeaux at high tides was also swollen, and a darkened brown, sullen and rebellious as it rose against the piers of a bridges, determined to revolt against the streets. This was New York City, the heart of America, but both were similar; equal in beauty and destruction.
Even then, she pushed on, bitter, resolute, and utterly drenched. She was too hasty then; staring incomprehensibly at the text that her phone registered, before leaping to her feet in the middle of the chateau, screaming a few explicit words that caused quite a lot of startled looks.
Right now, it was darker, droplets bouncing icily against her legs; crowds hurried by, reticent and self-adsorbed. Everyone was evidently within their own world, and she wasn't an exception; she never was.
Pushing harshly now, she arrived the The Underground, and swallowed the lump of terror that was engulfing her, choking her, entrapping her breaths into little containers of pain. She stayed hidden then, among the murmuring crowds--their mutters rising and falling gently like the leaves of autumn softly touching the floor.
Many were present, and she caught a sight of Jude Liang, her suspicious heightened by his presence. He was with Leon, and she hadn't question it, but doubts clouded her mind now, each possibility darker than the next.
Blending in with the crowd, she smiled at anyone that was standing next to her, frantically trying to wipe off the water residing on her clothes, skin and hair.
She didn't want to offer them help, none of this particularly concerned her, aside from their promise of fun.
Like how the last one was hijacked cruelly by a sappy love story. She scowled.
Sitting back, she gleefully whipped out her binoculars, mentally patting herself on the back in triumph, as the lenses swept the place. Macht, Phoebe, Leon, Allen, Aaro- That teacher. Aldritch and Felix- she suppressed a grin, and the lenses finally ended on Knuckles and Cedric, both intimidating even as they pleasantly nodded.
Ridding herself of guilt, she realized, with a jolt that her teeth was chattering, and her fingernails were scrapping the back of her hand once more, leaving scarlet marks of burning and nervousness.
They were the enigma, wrapped firmly around a packet of mystery that was raising a clawed hand to her being, enticing and luring her wthin.

TLDR; It's raining. Ira is nervous. She hides. Everyone is very big so they will ow-ow the hell out of each other, and she will watch.

{ "Knuckles" } { words ### } { spectators welcome. lg/aw fight }
Macht watched as the lot approached, nodding his head in respect to each and every one of them. He ignored the questions of the first two men of LG - who looked like Yin and Yang when standing next to one another - simply extending a hand for the two to take, if they so chose. This was a challenge, of course, but there was no bad blood. At least, none that would be apparent. While Macht thought the majority of LG incompetent, he didn't show that outright.
"Hollows," he extended a hand toward Allen upon arrival as well. This question would not be answered, yet, either. He was going to wait until all of the known faces of LG arrived, simply so he would not have to repeat himself. Thankfully, it didn't take too long, as they would begin to pour into the alleyway, one after the other. At last, the redhead's eye settled on Sudeki and the elder Hollows, and Macht beckoned them to approach.
"I see the looks you're casting Knuckles, and before you continue to make your judgments you should be made aware: this has nothing to do with him. I called this forth. The brothers and sisters of Apex simply stand together on all issues." His eye flickered over to Knuckles, and he nodded in apology. "Now, I would like to make the terms of this challenge very clear. I don't give a damn about what the lot of you do as a whole. I hardly care about the challenges you've been making so long as you don't turn into RIOT 2.0. So, in that regard, you're free to continue to do as you wish. However, you have something I- no, we- need."
It didn't take much effort to spot Phoebe, and his optic implant scanned through the eye-patch and the sea of LG faces to search for Ira. It would be hard to find her, but he was sure she was present. At least, he hoped she was.
Wiping his hair from his face and flicking some of the rain at the floor in a redundant fashion, he continued. "Ira Defaire, and Phoebe Hollows." He didn't expect a good reaction, especially not from the Hollows siblings. However, he wouldn't give them the time they needed to make a fuss about it. "You're free to inquire as to why after this is all said and done. Though, to prove my resolve, I am making an open challenge, here and now: I will single-handedly go up against the entirety of the Lightning Gang for this. Should I win, I request that they join our ranks. Should I lose, I, and any member of the Apex Warriors who will agree to the terms - set by either myself or you - will join the Lightning Gang. On top of this, you will obtain any and all assets of the Apex Warriors that are under my name, including the base of operations beside you."
And with that, he waited, eye trained on Leon, arms folded across his chest. He did expect someone from either side to speak out. For starters, he demanded LG members join the ranks of Apex. And on top of this, he never spoke his intentions of fighting solo to Knuckles. To most, it probably seemed like an unnecessary risk, especially with the scale tipped so unevenly. What Macht asked for in comparison to what he put on the table was staggering, to say the least.

Leon would step forward and accept the handshake Macht offered. It was earnest and Leon appreciated that at least. Then the words and request, he knew the response that was possible from Allen, so he would grab Allen's shoulder and firmly hold, just to let the guy know Leon could handle this. As well in case that wasn't enough Leon would be able to react to stop Allen should he lose his shit. However, Leon would look back at Macht, his eyes narrowed a bit.
"LG become RIOT 2.0? With your connections how am I supposed to agree when it's likely you would hand them over to RIOT. I know what they do with the girls they get."
Leon would spit on the ground.
"I'd rather fight you one on one to the death than damn them to such a fate. However as I trust Knuckles for that not to happen, this is about Ira and Phoebe. Your terms are up to them to agree or disagree."
Leon would turn towards LG and keep a hand on Allen.
"So, Ira and Phoebe need to make this choice."
Not to say assimilating Apex wasn't VERY appetizing in the long run, the terms felt too personal, and never would Leon agree to fighting one person in such numbers on an honorable battle field. Phoebe had a lot of pull with LG being the Lieutenant, Ira was a new-ish member, but active and promising, but every member of LG had a voice, and when asked by name... That was not on Leon to decide for them.

Aaron would cock an eyebrow. He was asking for them all to fight him? Man...the Captain was a cocky little shit. Aaron was tempted to step forward and challenge this little boy alone, not for anything, but simply to put him in his place. Instead, his left hand in his pocket, he would take a deep breath.
"While I agree that it must be on Phoebe and Ira to decide- those present should note that where Phoebe goes, I go.. I will not leave her to you and the allies you surround yourselves with. Along with that, I do not see the point to confrontation. If all you want is Ira and Phoebe, why go through the trouble of fighting? Why not simply ask that they join you. A gang war seems unreasonable to me. Regardless, I will be going with her wherever she decides to stay."
Aaron would put a hand on Phoebe's shoulder giving a little smile.
