A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[OoC: Lock your stats in your first post. The stats you begin the tournament with are the stats you will end the tournament with. No items of any kind, and no Qi allowed. Participants must post within 24 hours of each other. Failure to do so leads to disqualification. If there is no clear winner within five days of the fight being posted, it will be decided by Staff through a grading rubric. This is a no holds barred fight, so if you feel the need to break some limbs, you go ahead and break some limbs. Post your entrance in the first round, and go ahead and start fighting as soon as you like. Let's get crackin'.] Jude Liang & Ian Morei-Moody would both be led down separate hallways by women in white coats. It was requested that they be barefoot for this fight. The halls were dark, barely illuminated by the light bulbs that flickered from the ceiling. Not a word would be uttered from their guides throughout the duration of the walk, but the further they went, the more the crowd's roaring outside became audible. Both contestants would be led to doors at the end of their respective hallways, and once opened, they would see their arena... a spherical room made entirely of ice, with steps from the doors that led down to three-and-a-half feet of water. There were cameras hidden everywhere to give the spectators a good show, but the only things the two contestants would see would be ice, water, and one another. "Aaaaaaaaaand from doooor number one! The man who impressed us all in the first round, but had no opponent in the second, let's give it up for a guy we can't form a full opinion on, JUUUUUUDE LIAAAAAAANG!" Jude was received with a horrendous mixture of cheers and boos, due to the fact that his last opponent did not show. Half the crowd seemed to like him, but he was going to need to make up for conditions he had no effect over if he wanted to win their appeal back over. "But wait! From doooor number twoooo! The trailer trash we've all seen beat his opponents into submission, from David to Goliath, SAY HELLO TO IAAAAAN MOOOREEEEI-MOOOOODYYYY!" Unlike Jude, Ian was met with entirely cheerful responses. Perhaps due to the fact that his two fights were both messy, incredibly violent, and had the potential to end with grievous injury. "Alright you bastards, this ain't over until one of you just can't get back up! Give us the show of your lives! Can we end with the best fight we've ever seen?! That's for you two to decide! IT'S TIIIIIME FOR THE BAAAAAREKNUCKLE BEATDOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!"

"MotherFUCKER." Ian shouted as he saw the arena, seeing just how crazy these guys intended to get. This wasn't just a fancy old swimming pool, it was the very arena of all that was hypothermia. He cursed as his big toe touched the water and his natural reaction was to flinch away. "MOTHERFUCKER."
This wasn't going to be fun.
Deep breaths, Ian. Deep breaths.
Huffing and puffing, the young Morei-Moody finally managed to sink his foot into the arena, though he cringed as he did so. Inch by inch, he made his way into the water, though he was just about to cry as he felt his family jewels hover just above the ice trap. After much deliberation, he finally allowed them to pass in with incredible grace, poise, and ---
"MOTHERFUCKER."
Aggravated as shit, the guy tried to move his body as much as possible to start building up that body heat. Once his opponent was in there he was just going to start swinging.

By now, Jude was used to this whole affair: silent woman in lab coat, poorly lit hallway, overzealous emcee, and the pièce de résistance--a completely unpleasant place to fight in. Jude was ready this time when the door opened to reveal an icy water world. The emcee's humor failed to move him, and the dangerously low temperature didn't cause Jude to falter. Last round, he had smothered himself in a greasy mud mixture for absolutely no reason in the end. Suffice it to say that nothing was going to bother him much any more, for today at least.
Jude immediately began stretching and moving on the spot to warm his muscles up. No regular person could last long in this wintry environment, especially not dressed in only combat shorts. Jude reckoned that he'd probably enter the water eventually, whether by choice or against his will. Ideally, it would be by choice. The shock of the water and the effect of freezing temperatures was going to be tough enough to overcome. The vehemently cursing boy in front of him would be even tougher.
Based on Ian's past rounds, Jude knew that the blonde boy was straightforward in his fighting style, and brutally so. This was the type of person that Jude liked to steer clear of. Now he had no choice but to enter the bear's cave and stay there. Success would only come at a price. In other words, Jude would have to poke that bear to create an opening. The hard part would be to stay alive in the process.
Jude would keep an eye on the approaching Ian while continuing his warm up exercises. Sure, Jude wanted to get out of this winter wasteland ASAP, but he wasn't going to be reckless and end up leaving on a stretcher.

"Hey, fuckhead!" Ian shouted as he saw his opponent simply limbering up on the other staircase. The dude was being a total pusillanimous assbag by waiting over there, and Ian wasn't having any of it. So he started uncomfortably wading through the water toward the guy, trying to remain on his tip toes so at least his jewels would be above the water line. If he got close to the guy and he was still limbering up, Ian was going to splash the water at him, preferably his little judes. And if that wasn't enough, he'd grab the dude by the legs and launch him into the water on Ian's terms. //20/10/10/12/10

This young man's metabolism seemed to run on unleaded rage fuel. Still spouting profanities, he approached Jude through the water-filled room. Ian was walking awkwardly...that water had to be frigid. Jude didn't envy him in the least, as the guy was visibly affected by the low temperature. That was all the more reason for Jude to postpone his little swim.
Jude would still be warming up when he saw a wave of water fly towards his pants, courtesy of Mr. Morei-Moody. Jude stepped back reflexively, but some of the cold liquid still made it onto his little judes. "НO0ОଠOOOOOОଠଠOoooᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒ that is COLD! Damn!" Jude exclaimed. He swore he felt his jewels shrivel up and die on the spot. Gritting his teeth, he refocused himself on the fight. The gauntlet had been thrown down.
Jude would face the small stairs and kick at the ends of Ian's reaching hands (or his head if he tried to climb up the steps), intent on keeping Ian away from the little judes and their relatively elevated location. These kicks would be quick and light. It wasn't worth it to try and land a big hit and get pulled into the icy shallows instead.

When Jude kicked out, Ian tried to punch the bottoms of his feet, or his insteps, to keep the guy scurrying further and further back. If he was going to stay out of the water, Ian was going to get out of it as well. Consider this now a battle for King of the Hill.
It wouldn't bee too difficult to read Jude's light kicks, and Ian responded with jabs in kind as each one got thrown, taking care to only make a step forward between motions, not as the kicks actually came. If the kicks continued until they would be roughly chest-level for Ian, the guy would try and snap out to take a firm hold of Jude's ankles, at which point he would twist to the outside of whichever leg he grabbed. //20/10/10/12/10

Jude exhaled in frustration. There was clearly only enough space for one person to be completely out of the water. Ian wanted to get out of that water and into Jude's face, where the two could fight without environmental interference. But Jude wasn't sure that he could fight evenly with the bigger boy. Even his jabs hurt at minimal contact. As Ian met Jude's light, low kicks with those jabs of his own, Jude retreated to avoid injury, yet still maintained the attacks until he had a sense of the current rhythm.
At this point, Ian was at about the same height as Jude, since the stairs compensated for the height difference. With less and less space to back up into, Jude had to change the dynamic quickly. He would end the series of low kicks with a last one from his left leg, and then proceeded immediately into his follow up. This would be a syncopated right straight feint during the upbeat that Ian had been taking small steps on. Jude figured that a typical off-rhythm punch would be enough for most opponents, but he didn't want to underestimate this one. Hence the extra layer of deception. Hopefully Ian would flinch or at least react with some sort of pause.
Jude would then throw a tight lead(left) hook in the wake of the feint. This attack was built on the assumption that Ian would still try to move forward after the straight feint. It was a decent guess, based on what Jude knew about him. If the hook whiffed, Jude would pull his arm back and halt the offensive in favor of reacting to Ian's next move.

The feint caused Ian to flinch backward, as it came when he started to move forward. He halted his progression, and as the left hook came, he responded with a pair of hooks of his own, to slam into Jude's ribs. He would continue to press forward, whether or not his own hooks connected, so that he could use this moment to wrap his arms around the guy's torso. If successful, he would lock his fingers and squeeze tightly. Then, pushing backward from the stairs, he would rotate midair so that Jude was face-up, and he would slam the both of them into the water. And if that worked, he would try and hold him down there as long as he could.

As Ian kept on pushing in, Jude became progressively more edgy. He pulled his punching arm back towards him, while taking a step back. His back was dangerously close to the arena wall now. Jude's hook would barely miss, and Ian's first hook would graze Jude's side. Jude winced in reaction to the punch, which hurt more than he expected it to. Fortunately it wouldn't stop him from blocking the second hook, forearm to forearm, so that the impact was softened. Then, Jude recognized his opening: it was quite literally Ian opening his guard and reaching with both arms. Jude remembered what had happened to that Daichi kid in the last round. A rough and watery demise awaited Jude if he were to get caught in the same trap. Jude would rush the center line towards Ian. Essentially, Jude was trading his escape options for an opportunity to dissuade his opponent, so to speak. Jude would attempt to use the heel of his right palm to strike upwards at Ian's jaw. Ian would be able to get his arms around Jude in this time, but Jude was counting on the palm strike to help avoid a fate like Daichi's. After the palm strike, Jude would try to get his hands on Ian's shoulders and trip him with a well placed left leg between Ian's thighs (think kouchi gari). This would only be plausible if Ian was stunned by the previous attack. If that wasn't the case, then Jude would attempt to hook out Ian's pivoting foot from under him in order to foil the ol' twist 'n slam. Both boys would still fall, likely into the water, in this second scenario. //STR: 10 | DEX: 10 | CON: 9 | WIS: 15 | INT: 25
