A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | As the orbs would glow, Aldritch would crawl back out and sit back on his spot on the floor. "I really don't see the point in all of this." He'd say staring at the glowing orbs before resting his back at the wall, yawning with the utter lack of entertainment aside from these unexciting light shows he had been seeing lately with these orbs. "At least give us television while waiting, damn."
Not sooner, two more unfamiliar faces came walking in. "Great, more people." He'd say with a totally uninterested tone.
"So, while waiting, lets have a chat for a bit shall we? How did ya'll get here? Me? I got shot in the head." He'd say with a calm demeanor, looking at those around him. "And I'm quite serious about this."

Protége, mon Dieu les M A L H E U R E U X Ruby looked around at the faces of the other people as her orb would glow a bit. She would sit back and continue waiting, seeming to be much more patient than another certain albino, but she'd raise an eyebrow when he suggested telling everyone how it was that they had gotten there. "No wonder he thinks we're dead. He'd gotten shot in the head..." Ruby shrugged. "Perhaps it was actually a miracle that you came here instead, and perhaps you didn't actually get shot. After all, I'm sure I'm not dead. I was walking through a mall to get to a friend's house... But then everything changed and I guess I ended up here." She shrugged. Ruby was blunt, not giving descriptive details as she was unfamiliar with these people and didn't feel obligated to be comfortable. But she held strong to her belief that she wasn't dead. At least... She thought so. She was confident she wasn't. And as for the people here she was with? She still didn't know why they were here or what was going on, but she did know she would just continue to be patient. And as such, she would lean against one wall and cross her arms without another word. Tous les misérable sont enfants de D I E U? ULLA

When Hemera entered the room, she was greeted by several others. Some she had seen before, others she hadn't. None of the others people's names were known, however. She closed the door softly and leaned back against it, looking at the floor. Should she say something? Nyka would want her to. Clearing her throat, she brushed back a lock of snowy hair and said, "Kazuya, I certainly didn't expect to see you here. Other than you, I don't know anyone in here. I figure I should say hello. I'm Hemera."

Though nothing terrible happened when each of them placed their orb into its respective slot, nothing exciting happened either. One eye barely visible beneath the shadows hiding the top half of his face, he would stare over at Aldritch as the albino complained of lack of entertainment while they waited, Kazuya had a feeling whoever or whatever brought them all here, wasn't about to give them television to watch, no matter how loudly they complained. His eyes visibly shifting over as they were joined by another person, this time a familiar face, he would bow his head slightly to Hemera.
"I could say the same to you, Hemera. I don't think any of us expected to end up here."
His eye shifting back over to Aldritch as he asked how everyone ended up here, Kazuya would stay silent. His story was nothing special or fearful as being shot through the head.

OOC: Sorry guys. Brain is refusing to work right now and celebrating an anniversary today.
Blinking slowly, Tobias kept quiet as he listened to everyone speak. He wasn't one to speak before learning of the situation. Leaning against his cane as he scanned the room, a few faces were known to him. As people shared their knowledge, Tobias would wait to be addressed personally before he spoke. There is a lot one can learn from just listening to what is said and left unspoken. Not only that, the body language of those in this room did help to convey the gravity of the situation.
What have I wandered into?

Hemera/Nyka: After Hemera entered into the large room and spoke to Kazuya, introducing herself to the others after, she would notice a glow emanate from the large slot in the middle of the room, as a small, orange orb appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. Once she walked over and picked it up, just like the other four before her, one of the slots would begin to glow, almost as if beckoning for her to place the orb in the slot. Tobias: As Tobias stayed silent after entering into the large room and joining the others, he would notice a glow emanate from the large slot in the middle of the room, as a small, orange orb appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. Once he got up and walked over and picked it up, just like Hemera, one of the slots would begin to glow, almost as if beckoning for him to place the orb in the slot. Aldritch/Ruby/Ira/Kazuya: Nothing of note would happen, unless they considered only one slot left to be filled important. Felix: Having taken too long to decide on his answer, Felix would find the floor in front of him crumbling quickly, and with no exit in sight, he had no way of escaping. With nowhere to go, soon, the floor beneath Musashi would give way, and he would end up falling down towards a dark abyss... and wake up safe and sound on the very subway platform he had been sitting on before, as his train would pull in. Was it real... or just a dream...? (OOC: Felix has been removed from the event. If anyone wishes to join this event, PM this account as soon as possible, letting me know. Aldritch Hexell, Ruby, Ira Defaire and Kazuya Hikari do not need to post this round, as nothing note worthy happened to them.)

As the shining object presented itself to her, Hemera couldn't help but giggle and grab it, caressing it's smooth and warm exterior. It was perfectly spherical, no imperfections marring it's surface. It was things like this she loved. She had also noticed the glowing slot that had come to light at the same time as the orb. Hmm...so she had to play the game of 'What Fits Where,' huh? She brought the orb to the slot and carefully put it in place, backing away from the device. She moved to sit down and place her back against the wall again. "Well, that's done." She smiled and looked around at everyone, waiting for an indicator of what was to come.

Fuck trains.
Life was insane. Jack had a walled-off district, roaming gangs, violence, superpowers, and just a whole lot of general bullshit to deal with. He did NOT random teleportation into a fucking subway station for a bunch of stupid riddles for literally no apparent bloody reason!
Muttering many more magical words under his breath, Jack had gotten on the purple train, because screw logic, he was pissed right now. Thankfully, this did not lead to any sort of doom for him. Instead, it took him on a wild and bumpy ride through some deep and unlit tunnels, before finally opening its doors to deposit him in a circular room filled with orange orbs and people. Some of them, he recognized. Others, he did not.
He shrugged, turning from one to the other, taking in the odd grouping. "Um... hey. Are we on drugs right now?" He stretched, yawning. "Whatever this shit is, I really need to get off it... shoulda listened to the damn teachers, but noooo, I just had to go and try it."

Hemera/Nyka: As Hemera placed her orb into its respective slot, she would see the orb light up and glow white, but nothing else would happen. For now, she could relax with the others.
Tobias: As Tobias continued to remain silent, unnoticed by the others, he would find his vision would gradually begin to blur, as darkness threatened to swarm him. Soon enough, he would find himself swallowed up by darkness... only to awaken in the very hallway he had been walking down, safe and sound... relatively speaking.
Jack: After Jack entered into the large room and spoke to the others, he would notice a glow emanate from the large slot in the middle of the room, as a small, orange orb appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. Once he walked over and picked it up, just like the others before him, one of the slots would begin to glow, almost as if beckoning for him to place the orb in the slot.

"Well," began Hemera, "what do we do now?" She stood from her spot and began to examine the walls. The doors seemed to open only one way, no doorknobs on this side of the room she'd been in. There was no tangible exit to be seen from her point of view. "There has to be a reason we were all brought here. Just what is it?" Her foot began to tap softly on the ground as she began to think. There has to be an exit, but where? There was one orb that hadn't been placed in the slot yet. Maybe once that was done, an exit would open?

"What do we do now? Seems pretty obvious: we put the balls in the holes, and hope shit doesn't get any crazier."
As he said this, Jack was walking towards the final orb, and leaned down to pick it up with both hands. "I mean, yeah, it's a bit annoying having to play along with something so obviously set up, but what else are we supposed to do, eat them? If it's a dream, we may as well see where this leads us... and if it's not, we're provably fucked anyways." His voice was utterly calm and steady. Real and physical disruptions could cause him to panic, but this situation was just too strange to provoke a normal response. He was still having a hard time wrapping his head around the whole trains thing.
"So," he continued, as he slotted his orange sphere neatly into its larger slot, "how did you lot get here?"

I had just sat down with MY PI to gather more information on the case. He said he had found out who it was that had planned everything and was also planning on sending more people here to take me out once and for all. I had just taken the package from his hand when suddenly, POOF! Well, shit. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* My uncle stood before me, smiling peacefully. I was back home. I could hear my parents talking in the other room. They were discussing whether I should be able to take Muay Thai or not. My father was winning the argument, but my mother was by no means beaten. She held up her end of why I shouldn't be allowed. It wasn't right for a man of my stature to learn such a demeaning and primitive skill. My father, of course, argued that I was a young man and needed to be able to hold my own. I would not always have my sword at the ready to fight with it. Uncle Montie, as i called him, Leaned forward and whispered to me: "You need those courses. No matter what your parents decide, I'll make sure you get the training."I grinned at him and thanked him. I was only 8, but I knew it was what i had wanted to learn as soon as I had seen it. I looked around the room, there was a man there I remembered, but I hadn't met him at that point in my life. My Muay Thai teacher, Juturungkart. I walked over to him and looked up. He was taller than I remembered. "How did I get here?""You are here to learn something.""Alright. Do I need to guess or are you just going to tell me?""You know.""Yeah I figured. Well, lets go then."I took a simple stance and we tussled. After a few minutes, He, naturally came out on top. "You haven't learned much.""I have had a lot going on.""Never let the things around you dictate who you are.""If that's all you have to tell me, then you are wasting my time.""You still aren't learning."I sighed. I knew he was right, of course. I just didn't want to hear it. "Then help me. Teach me like you did before.""The only way you will learn, is my listening to who you are. Follow your heart."He moved from his position, letting me free. Pointing towards a door, he would give me a small smile. "Do you remember the first thing you told me?""I remember. 'I will show you I can fight. No one else can see it, but I can.'""Yes. Use it. Keep it. Remember it. Remember yourself. Remember your parents. Remember who you are."
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* I walked through the door into a room filled with people. A few he knew. He nodded at them. His clothes were what they always were: A snazzy blue and white Suit. "Greetings. May I ask what is happening?" My accent was thick as usual. What did they expect form a French Gentleman?

Jack: As Jack placed his orb into its respective slot, he would see the orb light up and glow white, but nothing else would happen. Only one empty slot remained. Gerard: After Gerard entered into the large room and spoke to the others, he would notice a glow emanate from the large slot in the middle of the room, as a small, orange orb appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. Once he walked over and picked it up, the last remaining slot would begin to glow, almost as if beckoning for him to place the orb in the slot. Hemera/Aldritch/Ruby/Gerard/Jack/Kazuya/Ira: Once Gerard placed his orb into the slot, as the seventh and final orb lit up, a pulse would emit from it, spreading outwards, as all seven orbs would converge into one in the middle of the room. A series of random images flashing through the minds of everyone, once the images stopped, at the convergent point of the orbs, they would see a giant mechanism on the floor, located right in the center of their circle. Soon after, section by section, the lights would go out, enveloping the room in darkness. The only source of light a faint white circle beneath the mechanism, all that would be visible to anyone is the dial, and the others, nothing else. Now the next question, what is this mechanism? It would appear familiar to Jack, as flashbacks of the days he spent running back at his previous school on the track field ran through his mind. It was a timer.

With solemn grace, Jack's arm swung through the air, a pendulum carrying the heavy weight of destiny upon it. Within its palm rested the ball that held the key to all their fates, the simple orange sphere that would decide whether or not those still here ever made it out of this madness and back to the slightly-less-mad madness of District 552. With a steady push, and sense of great finality, Jack put his ball in its hole, and stepped back, waiting for judgement to arrive.
Nothing happened.
"Well shit. Did I do something wrong?"
A few moments later, some French kid walked in and stole the spotlight, placing the actual final orb into its spot and asking them what the hell was going on. Jack looked at him and shrugged. "Beats me. Did you get here on a train as well?"
Finally, something was happening, several strange pictures flashing through Jack's mind at a breakneck pace. He spun around, laughing giddily. Taking drugs had never been something that particularly interested him, but now that he was clearly tripping, he might as well enjoy it!
And then everything was gone, except a timer.
Jack paused. "Well look at that... a timer."
Was there anything else to say? Probably not. In the absence of all logic, one could only take whatever options were available to oneself at the time, whether said options made sense or not. It was time to break the bridges, burn most of the situation, make the horse some water and then make it drink, all while the seconds ticked away on the timer that may or may not even be functional or corporeal, possibly counting down to a return to reality and/or the next stage of this journey into oddity-
"You know what, screw it. Let's see what happens if we break that thing."
Having said that, Jack would rush forwards, and stomp hard on the mechanism, testing its resilience.

I would see the orb glowing, almost begging me to pick it up. I made my way to it and lifted into my hands. Light, weightless. I moved to the slot glowing. The others were filled with their respective colors. His was the last. He moved slowly to place his orb in the last remaining slot. Only wincing slightly.
After I placed the orb in the slot, it glowed and lifted to join the other orbs in the center of the room. They all came together and glowed brightly. Then, images flashed through my mind, I was unable to tell what they were from All i knew was, this was probably the single strangest thing i had witnessed in a long time.
Something appeared where the orbs were. The light went out and it was dark, too dark to see, save for a dim circle beneath the.... thing. It looked almost like the Mayan calendar. This was odd. What was it, where did it come from, what was it doing here, and what would happen next? I looked around and my eyes finally rested on a boy claiming it was a timer. Great. Timing to what, I was sure i did not know and was even more sure i did not want to find out. The boy rushed the timer and proceeded to attempt to destroy it. I shook my head. Normally things like this needed to be handled carefully. Timers tended to speed up when shook or messed with. Damn.
"I am no expert here, but I believe that may not be the best idea."
