"I remember back when I use to come up here all the time Freshman year."
This was Musashis favorite spot to come after school was over. Back when he first got here he use to get picked on all the time. It wasn't that he couldn't defend himself in the process, he was just a very passive person and didnt like violence. A behavior that he had gotten from his mother. But at time went by of course Musashi knew things had to change and that he couldnt keep running to the roof of the school to solve his problems. So he promised himself that he wouldn't come back here until he had gotten stronger. However, today he decided he was going to break that rule. He had just encountered his brother in the school and they both needed to talk to one another.
It had been well over a couple of weeks since they had last talk, which was something that was very uncommon for people that had known each others there whole life. He always had some sort of resentment for his brother, but that never meant he didn't love him. Today was going to be the day that they squashed all of that, and hopefully would come to a understand of what there future here needed to be like. They were completely different people, but something told him that they wanted the same thing. Just in a different way. Musashi wanted to understand, see what his brother saw, and maybe come to a common ground on things. Divided, they were weak as individuals, but together they could become something more.

TITANS FALL But they always got back up. Titans is what their father often referred to their family as. Titans. Believing they had a right to success, to rule. Believing they had a right to topple everything that stood in their way. Titans, the only thing that could truly bring down a god. They always believed them to be down for the count, but they always got back up and conquered. Tyashi referred to his sons Ty and Musashi sometimes as 'Little Titans', constantly toppling over their obstacles in life. It was his own way of saying he was proud of them. Those were rare moments, but moments that the eldest Hattori took to heart, and could never forget. The entrance to the rooftop swung open as the crimson haired devil stood there. His eyes were hollowed and bathed in its usual ferocity. He stared at his little brother, the Sasquatch.
"Little boy."
That was ironic. The eldest Hattori took a step, his black desert boots crackling the pavement underneath them. He was calm as he addressed his brother, approaching him slowly. A breeze rushed past his face, causing his red locks to sway to his cheek slightly. His expression remained stone cold. The truth of the matter, was that he was extremely happy to be reunited with his brother. He was happy to see the blonde haired idiot in great health. He was happy to see that he had managed the most violent high school in America relatively well. He was absolutely elated to see that his little brother had indeed become his 'own man'. Bittersweet that he technically no longer needed his older brother's protection. But quite frankly, that wasn't something that Musashi got to decide on. No. Ty would always protect the only thing he had left in this world. And in order to protect that thing, he had to harden it so it was unbreakable. Instead of being a regular brother, he'd scold his little brother as though nothing had changed.
"It was your idea to come to this pathetic excuse for a school. One would at least be led to believe you'd be half way to conquering it by now... But no. Imbeciles rule the hallways. It makes me question your ambition. Your abilities. Or... Perhaps it's your plan for our mother to rot in this god forsaken neighborhood? Perhaps it is your plan to die with the sluts you chase day in and day out. You're a pathetic... Little... Boy. I pity you. I pity the wasted potential. You're nothing to me. You were nothing to Tyashi. And you are nothing to mother."
The red haired devil would emit a taunting and sadistic laugh. It rang through the atmosphere between them. He had stopped only step away from his brother. Really it was all a feign to rile him up and start another fight with him. You see, Ty didn't truly believe those things. Sure, Musashi was on the 'occupied' side more times than not, but he knew very well what the kid was capable of.
"Defend yourself, Sasquatch."
The words came quickly, stinging like a bee. But simultaneously, Ty lifted his right arm unexpectedly with ripping speed, it came hurling towards his brother's face. However it would be a feign. He halted the blow before it could gain any true momentum, allowing it to only serve as a decoy; a distraction from the real attack. Covered by the smoke screen of his right handed feign attack, Ty lifted a left jab speeding towards his little brother's chest. Simply testing the waters, but he would not hold back. His words were empty, but his desire to truly test his brother's might was fuller than ever. He needed to know if he could lean on his little brother now as Musashi had leaned on Ty all of their lives.
Those Hattori boys were at it again.

"You just think your so much better than me huh!? Always thinking that the world revolves around you and your stupid feelings. Don't try to throw me into the bullshit that you and pops had between you. I'm going to get mom out of this forsaken place, and into a real home. AND it will be all thanks to ME! I heard about what happened at your other school... NINE!---"
"Defend yourself, Sasquatch."
Before Musashi could continue saying anything else his brother would proceed to throw a right hand strike to his face. Musashi would try to react to the punch by attempting to counter it by using his left hand to knock it off course. However, it was a trap and Musashi knew he had fell right for it. His brother stopped his right fist before it had the chance to even land on Musashi and instead would follow up with a left punch to his chest. Shit he has always been the smart fighter between the two of us. I thought I had gotten better, but I guess not. The punch would land onto Musashis chest as he lacked the complete wisdom to completely get out of the way or stop it completely. So before the complete impact of the force could be applied to his chest he would knock his left arm downward with a strike using his right hand while back peddling like a Cornerback playing football.
This would give him time to regain his balance and to establish some kind of distance between the two at least five feet. This didn't mean that he escaped the complete impact of the punch of course, but he was able to cut off at least 25% of the impact. This would leave some pain no doubt, but Musashi knew he was strong enough to fight through it. He was sure that his brother wouldn't stop fighting and would probably follow up with something else. However, between the two Musashi had always been the fastest and he wanted to try to use that against his brother. If he sat around too long his brother would clean him up quickly. His Jeet Kune Do fighting style was based on complete perfection at close range with the kind of speed and flexibility it brought. He didn't know the style himself, but when his brother decided to take that on over there fathers Ninjutsu based styles he took it upon himself to learn about it. This was the only way he was ever to finally beat his brother.
However, he knew this time was different and that there was a lot of time in between there last fight so things were sure to be different. Immediately after backing up from the impact of the punch Musashi would dash in to close the short distance between the and would throw a left low kick at Ty. This would be aimed toward the lower level of Tys right shin. He was sure his genius brother was definitely going to move out of the way unless he was stupid. 'IF' his brother attempted to move his leg out the way he would quickly follow up with a right kick to his stomach area. He knew this was a risky move and that he and his brother thrived off those kind of attacks, but that was why this time was different. He had a plan, but he knew his brother would have one too. This would no doubt be a fight to remember.

TITAN'S FALL "You just think your so much better than me huh!? Always thinking that the world revolves around you and your stupid feelings. There was that name once again. It danced through his ears like a swan on a lake. It hit him as a half-surprise, half-expected hit. Some part of him expected his brother to do some type of research on his endeavors at #122, but at the same time he didn't think he cared that much. Interesting. Sasquatch never ceased to amaze. A gust of wind seemed to encircle the brothers as Musashi made his attempt to evade the crimsoned haired boy's feign and left strike. He watched his brother back up to gain some distance, and simultaneously the eldest Hattori would seamlessly slide back into his usual stance. His right foot was forward, with his left backwards, knees bent. His right arm was extended slight, and his left hanging at chest level.
"You are a fool who knows nothing, little brother. Let me educate you!"
A quick response he spout out as he slid back into his stance at the same time his brother regaining his footing and making a quick dash forward. So the gargantuan boy still had his speed. That was good to know. So Ty would have to anticipate and read his movements just like before. His training in ninjutsu had payed off well of course, but he telegraphed his movements often, and that was perhaps his major dramatic flaw. The boy attempted a low kick at his shin. Providing Ty a huge window to set up for his attack, the Hattori devil could see it coming a mile away, and thus prepared himself. As the kick came flying in, the boy simply lifted his leg up high, thus causing Musashi's leg to completely miss its mark. But that was merely feign. That attack from his brother was too quick and lacked torque to actually hope to hit. There was clearly something else around the corner.
And that something came quickly. Rapidly setting his foot back down to brace himself, he watched the speedy Sasquatch shift his foot and launch another kick. This time with the left, this time with much more purpose. Ty had the means to make an evasion and move in closer, but that was probably what was expected with his fighting style. He could decimate many opponents with his style that adapted like water. And thus it's what he would do. This was the moment he needed to be like a tsunami and beat down aggressively. As the kick flew in, Ty moved his hands to intercept the blow. Unable to completely catch it, he absorbed some of the damage to his gut, but nonetheless his hands were able to cut the damage in half, but nonetheless his stomach would have an ache in it. His brother was stronger, but by shifting his weight and putting every single one of his pounds in it, he'd be able to slow the blow down and make a decisive grapple.
Upon impact, the red haired devil's hazel irises hollowed as his left arm wrapped firmly around his brother's ankle and lower part of his shin. The boy had simultaneously shifted his weight inward. With his brother's leg caught momentarily, his knee was wide open. Ty would swiftly attempt to bring down a strong strike on Musashi's knee. He was not strong enough to actually cause a clean break, but the damage from a clean strike could easily cut Musashi's speed and even the playing field. Quite frankly, it'd be difficult to pull the leg away quick enough with Ty providing his own resistance and with his brother now balancing on one leg with little support to pull, it provided yet another tricky situation. With an extended leg, it was of course natural that no ones arms were long enough to make a last minute block.
Whether a hit or miss, Ty would follow up by pushing his brother's leg backwards in a weak attempt to throw him off balance. But it's simply be an attempt to gain some distance. With a hurt leg, there was no longer a speed advantage. It'd be interesting to see his brother climb out of a sticky situation...

Man brother has gotten so much better over the past year. This fight is definitely going to be a tough fight indeed.
Musashi wasn't surprised to see that his brother had manage to find a way to get around his attack, but of course without taking some kind of damage which he would gladly accept. He knew that it definitely wasn't going to take his brother out for the count, but it would have some lasting impact just like the pain that was beginning to grow in his chest. If the fight lasted long enough it would probably just cause some soreness in his abdominal area making it a tad bit harder to breath.. His brother wouldn't waste any time making his next move which would no doubt be critical in there fight with each other. After his brother would manage to slow down his kick he would grab onto the upper part of his ankle. This was a move that Musashi would no doubt expect from his brother as that was his intention to begin with.
It was a great move on his brothers part, but Musashi would waste no time in trying to make a counter of his own. His brother had a tight grip on that part of his upper ankle which was a good thing as it would be inessential for him so he could make his counter. However, Musashi did know that he wouldn't be escaping this attack that Ty was going to put on him without having to take some kind of damage at all, but the kind of damage was he was going to take was going to make the difference. Immediately after his brother would grab his ankle Musashi would use all of his strength to pull his right leg back. He knew that regardless of what he did that his brothers grip wouldn't loosen, at least not yet, but that was apart of the plan. By doing this would change the direction of his strike from his knee to his shin area. This would do one of many things for Musashi. By bringing his right leg back with Tys body weight pulling against it, it would stabilize his balance on his left leg which would give him enough balance to perform his counter.
Upon pulling his right leg back musashi would feel a strong and sharp pain to his shin. The hit would no doubt hurt, but he wouldn't feel the real impact of that punch until he planted his right leg again. So he knew that this counter was going to be important to make sure his brother didn't have the upper hang. His shin being damage would definitely cut his speed down in half, but not as much as a damage knee would have done to him. Immediately after pulling his right leg back he would use the pulling force Ty would have from grip on his ankle to send a left kick to Tys stomach area again as he would be punching his shin area. During the kick Musashi would twist his waist slightly to the right so his feet could turn to a horizontal direction so that he could kick not only Tys stomach, but his right rib cage area as well. Because Ty would have both of his arms occupied it was going to be damn near impossible for Ty to block his speeding left leg which had not been damage yet. Not to mention he had already gone through with the strike, and the pulling of his right leg would only bring Ty closer in making a dodge or block even more impossible. It would also increase the power of the kick.
Lets see if you can get through this Harry Houdini!
Whether or not the kick landed or not the grip that his brother had on his leg would be let go ( According to your post ) and he would push it back so that there would be distance between the two. The amount of distance they would have would all depend on whether or not Musashis kick landed. Because if it did they would be a greater amount of distance away. At least ten to fifteen feet to be exact. Also Musashis back would be laid against the ground regardless of what happened as he would be off balanced from the kick with his other leg being in the air technically. The impact of landing on the ground would also decrease his stamina as landing on his back would take some of the wind out him, along with the punch to the chest from earlier. This fight was sure to be over for him if his counter didn't give him an edge.

[ooc: *invades* ]
The door creaked as Vivi pushed it open stepping out onto the rooftop with a pad of paper tucked under her arm, and a pencil behind her ear. Her hair was a little disheveled, but combed out of her face which was unusual. She was sporting a black eye, a bandage on her cheek, some bloody knuckles, and a piece of bloody gauze wrapped around her thigh. After the past few days Vivi had been immensely frustrated with PHS 552 and the surrounding city. It was like she couldn’t do anything without pissing someone off. It had been her intention to step out onto the roof to let out some steam by drawing. The place had become some what of a reassurance to her. Her mind seemed to correlate positive feelings with the place after her conversation with Ty, so being up there made her feel stronger, you could say. She raised her eye brows, recognizing Musashi, the blonde haired boy she’d met in the courtyard, and Ty, the red haired boy she’d met in this very place. Believe it or not, they were fighting. Go figure, this was PHS 552, wasn’t it? Her first instinct was to butt in and find some way to make them stop, but she’d been trying to set aside her nosey ways as of late. Vivi moved to back out of the door, but didn’t realized it had already closed, and banged her head on it, causing the metal to ring. “Lord, give me patience or an untraceable hand gun,” she grumbled, turning and reaching for the door knob.

TITAN'S FALL Musashi was bold in his attacks, which wasn't necessarily a terrible thing. He was willing to put it all on the line to gain the upper hand, sacrificing his body and all. He was brave. Perhaps even more brave than his older brother. No, there was no doubt that the younger brother surpassed the elder in courage. However, the crimsoned haired Hattori still possessed the sharp advantage in wisdom and experience. The distance for Musashi's kick was much larger in length than Ty's very short ranged shot that would meet a decent mark on his brother's shin. As a trained fighter, it is common knowledge to never let you arms linger after an attack, so naturally only delivering the one shot to the shin, his right arm was already once again free. Musashi's attack was the obvious choice to make and with his entire body twisting in that singular motion, it was easily telegraphed to the eldest Hattori. However, his brother's speed remained a factor, thus making his window of reaction very small. But nonetheless, it enough.
Due to its very short distance, Ty's strike to his brother's shin would connect first, the catching glimpse of the speeding leg. As previously stated, the boy would immediately follow up by releasing his grip and pushing backwards to gain distance, thus the crimsoned haired Hattori had already been in motion making his steps backwards, and with great positioning, he'd be able to make that split-second reaction in time for the evasion. But then, the not so impossible, but unfortunate would occur. In his peripherals, the red haired devil would catch glimpse of the impossible-to-miss violet colored haired making an entrance to the rooftop. With the movements seemingly flowing in slow motion. It seemed almost instantaneous that his focus shifted from the skirmish at hand, and the name Vivi danced swam around in his dome. A costly distraction as Ty neglected to shift his torso too late and his brother's kick connected full force. His eyes widened as the pain shot through his stomach. It wasn't a blow that could send him off of his feet, but nonetheless the eldest Hattori clutched at his stomach, stumbling backwards from the attack.
"Ugh..."
He groaned slightly in pain. The consequences of allowing oneself to be distracted during the battle. It would seem the lesson learned here would be his to claim. With the distance that came in between the two brothers, there was a halt in the action. Ty's face hazel hues shot sharply over to Vivi, his eyes blanketed by annoyance and their usual harshness.
"Vivi..."
He softly said her name. His eyes staring, almost glaring. But his voice, if you listened closely just enough, it almost sounded as though he were happy to see her again... No. No that couldn't be it. He quickly recovered, the sternness and icy coldness returning to his voice box.
"You're a lousy assistant."
He shot at her before she had the opportunity to leave the rooftop. He was quick to place blame. But the more obvious thing to observe here, that had the potential to fly over Vivi and Musashi's heads, was the fact that Ty Hattori became distracted from a fight. How in the hell did that happen? It was obvious, wasn't it? That unknown feeling from before, when he first met the girl on this very rooftop; it had returned in that split-second during the battle. Vivi helped him in a very peculiar and profound way. Something she probably had no knowledge of due to the complexity of the crimsoned haired Hattori boy. But.. Strangely.. At this moment.. His mind was not on his family. It'd been a while since he's seen her... And here chance would have it that she'd show up here, interrupting his family reunion. O, cruel fate. Was this your attack?

I did it!
Musashis counter has gone just how he wanted it to, he didn't know how the results of the fight would end up, but he was sure that despite whatever it was that he had increased his chances of winning. After landing on the ground Musashi would try using everything in his power to get back up, but before he could ever get his upper body off the ground he would spot a familiar figure. What is she doing here? Musashi had met the girl awhile back in the courtyard one day after testing along with a few other people. He didn't get to know her as well as he would have liked, but nonetheless they still exchanged a few words with one another.
"Vivian?"
The words would escape his mouth silently, but noticeably at the same time his brother called the girls name out as well. Was it possible that his brother had knew the girl as well. They did go to the same school after all, but it was still hard to believe his brother had actually socialized with someone. Especially a girl. Then it hit Musashi. His body falling recklessly back to the ground in thought of what had just happened just now. Until now Musashi thought that he had earned the upper hand in the fight, but now that he had time to think through the situation everything would become more clear. Musashi knew his brother couldn't get hit with a move that easily.
Even if he expected it to hit, his brother didn't make any real attempt at trying to stop it. This probably meant that he had spotted her way before he did. Never mind, I guess I didn't get him... Laying against the ground is disappointment he would merely eavesdrop on the words that were coming out of the mouth of his brother. 'Assistant.' It was one of the words that he managed to here his brother speak. Assistant? Did the girl work for his brother? That was something that Musashi couldn't possibly believe, but obviously they had more going on between them than he did with her. Slowly getting up from off the ground he would finally make his presence known to the both of them.
"Sooo, you work for my brother Vivian?"

Vivi found herself watching the fight for a few more seconds before preparing to dash down the stairs. Apparently it was a mistake, that or coming up in the first place was. Ty Spotted her as Musashi aimed a kick at him, and in the brief moment of distraction, the blow connected. The red haired boy staggered back a few steps, clutching his stomach in pain. After that though, Musashi didn’t attack again. It occurred to her they must’ve been sparring seeing as the fight had come to a complete halt. So maybe the two were friends?
Ty’s gaze shot over to Vivi and she immediately stiffened, brushing the hair back over her black eye, as if it could conceal her startled expressions from the world. He was pissed, she could tell that much. Then he said her name. It was strange, his face conveyed anger and annoyance, but his voice didn’t.
“Um… hi?” Vivi wiggled a few fingers.
“You’re a lousy assistant,” Ty said, his voice had lost any traces of softness it had held before.
Yup, he’s pissed… she sighed inwardly. It seemed showing up at precisely the wrong time was her forte.
“Well excuse me, princess,” Vivi sighed, “I was just leaving.”
~~~
Musashi seemed to be pleased with his success in striking Ty at first, but a moment later he looked severely disappointed, even to the point where he just flat out lied on the ground. A moment later though, when Ty brought up the ‘assistant’ thing again, he stood up.
“Sooo, you work for my brother Vivian?” he asked
Two things stuck out to her when he spoke. First off was the fact that he called her Vivian, something she had’t been called since she left her old gang. And second was his ridiculous notion. She pushed the former aside and seemed to struggle to think of a reply. “As if...” Vivi replied “We just-- wait, that’s your brother?”
She glanced between the two of them. There was absolutely no resemblance whatsoever, at least from what she could tell. It occurred to her that Musashi might be part of this ‘they’ Ty mentioned. Part of his something to protect, as it were.
THE TITANS “Well excuse me, princess. I was just leaving.”
Then leave! Was what seemed to crash through his brain. It was what he almost wanted to scream, but would it really hold any weight and truth? It didn't matter. The boy gathered himself and stood straight up, still clutching his stomach in pain. It was throbbing, but he was sure it settle and soothe itself soon. The hazel hues seemed to hollow at her snap back. The eldest Hattori merely remained silent, his eyes possessing a nasty hint of annoyance and coldness. He just simply watched the shorter violet haired girl. "Hm." Was all he could muster up. The god to honest truth, and it didn't show in his body language or face at all, was that Ty found himself just a touch flustered at this moment. Her presence and little witty comebacks. Who did she think she was? Barging in here, causing a distraction and then standing there like she owned the place? Ty was just being a baby in his mind. But his silence was golden.
“Sooo, you work for my brother Vivian?”
A soft sigh escaped the elder brother's lips at his brother's question. Idiot. So suddenly Ty Hattori had enough money to hire on an assistant. Even if he didn't fully understand it, surely years of training in perception and analysis would allow his little brother to see that his remark was some form of figure of speech, right? No. That was too much to ask from the spacey Musashi. He'd always been that way, completely... Detached from reality. Always daydreaming, rarely actually wanting to take things seriously. It was absolutely infuriating, and was obviously part of the reason Ty continuously chastised his little brother. Believing his constant air headed-ness would get him in something so deep that it'd be impossible to climb out of it really unscathed. And yet, he often found a way to pull out a miracle. Ty would be lying if he said he didn't find his brother amusing, even funny sometimes. He'd never admit that of course. While his personality could be a deep rooted nuisance, in all honesty, if given the opportunity to change his brother, Ty probably wouldn't even take it. Somethings just are meant to be. And Musashi constantly being the annoying go-lucky little brother was one of those things. Interesting.
“As if...”
.... What the hell was that supposed to mean? Ty's irises immediately swam from his brother back to Vivi. His cold glare attempting to burn a hole into her soul.
“We just-- wait, that’s your brother?”
.. We just what? What was she going to say? He so desperately wanted to know, but maintained his silence. Ty shifted his weight onto his left foot. This was going to be a long day, apparently. The pain in his stomach had already began to subside. Training allowed him to endure it and relax damage with relative ease. The boy shoved his hands into his jacket pocket. A gently breeze brushed against his face. The breeze was perhaps his favorite thing about the rooftop.
"Yes. He's my worthless little brother."
His voice possessed it's usual coldness as the hazel pupils shot back over to Musashi on the ground.
"And he has a lesson to learn."
Because, Ty was the only person who could teach it. His methods were very questionable, but it was all he knew quite frankly. Didn't the boy always seem so sure of himself? Once more his eyes shot back over to the violet haired girl on his left.
"So if you're going to leave, then leave."
His voice was soft, but its stern, coldness traveled to the girl with ease. There he was, always the cold one, even to the people he cared most about. Why couldn't he simply say what he meant? Because the deep rooted secret was that he was happy to her again, and didn't want her to leave. In fact, he'd been itching for a week for another talk with her. But he allowed his annoyance of taking a full blown strike to his stomach completely blanket that fact. That, and the stubbornness he naturally displayed... At all times. The worst part was that the eldest Hattori knew exactly what he was doing.
Is this really happening right now?
"Well excuse me, princess, I was just leaving."
Musashi couldn't help but feel like there was something going on between the girl and his brother. What exactly where these two? This was the question that constantly rang through the mind of Musashi. He definitely wasn't the best when it came to the feelings of a girl, but he did had have the advice of his mother to always lean on.
According to his mom this could be a sign of some kind of feelings. Whether it went beyond the title of a friend was definitely up for question, but knowing his brother he knew that couldn't be possible. The same had to be for the girl as they gave off the same kind of vibe. And now that he had time to think about it, she did kind of remind him a bit of his brother. Just a more feminine version of course. He didn't get to talk to her too much that day in the courtyard, but he could tell a little about her from her body language.
"As if...We just-- wait, that’s your brother?"
"Yes. He's my worthless little brother. And he has a lesson to learn."
A sigh would escape from the mouth of Musashi at the response from his brother. He was always treating him like he was some useless toddler who had no sense of wrong or right. There were times of course were it was a little more tolerable than usual, but it was in front of someone he knew so it was a little embarrassing. He would of course never admit it out loud, but that was only because he didn't want to give his brother the satisfaction of feeling like he was the alpha male out the two.
There was always room for a challenge if need be, but that was more of a personal brother to brother thing. Musashi would not respond to the insult and would instead listen as his brother continued to talk to Vivian. Musashi could tell there was something different about his brother by the way he looked at her. He couldn't tell what it was, and maybe he never was. His brother was always hard to figure out. The only way he could ever know something was different about his brother is if he acted out in a way he hadn't seen before.
"So if you're going to leave, then leave."
Whoa. Did brother just really get offended.
A grin would appear on the face of Musashi. Ty wasn't the one to respond in such a way to insults. It was almost as if he actually cared about what she just said to him. He would continue to stay put quietly as the two would without a doubt continue to conversation with one another. Musashi knew he was going to be in show a show, and a good one at that. Look at my brother Ty, getting all 'human' over a girl. Hahaha!!
“Yes. He's my worthless little brother, Ty shot a glare at Musashi, “And he has a lesson to learn.”
A tight frown began to form on the violet haired girl’s face. She didn’t like Ty’s attitude, and putting it in simple terms, he was being a prick. On top of it, his apparent resentment toward his brother sent a twinge of anger to her heart.
“You’re lucky you have any family to speak of,” she scowled.
It was his next comment that lit her fuse. She normally didn't blow up over little things like this, but all her stress was starting to build up. It was ‘the straw that broke the camel’s back’, as Kaya had always put it.
”So if you're going to leave, then leave."
All the anger that had been welling up inside from the last few days seemed to mix around in her head a cloud her vision. Granted, she wasn’t thinking clearly, and on top of that, she was being selfish. Ty obviously had his reasons, and he had every right to be angry with her right now, but she didn’t see why he had to address his brother like that. Vivi turned on her heels and reached for the door knob. For a moment, it almost seemed like she was going to leave. But instead, she reached up and took the pencil from behind her ear, slipped it into the wire spine of her notebook and threw it on the ground. Then, turning around she balled her fists and walked across the rooftop toward Ty, stopping a few feet away from him.
“Who peed in your cheerios?” she growled, jamming her finger into his sternum, “‘You mad 'cause I messed up your fight and you got hit? Poor baby. Why don't you just give your brother a break and hit me instead? Maybe it'll cheer you up and relieve your petty stress.”
There she went again. When her anger built up, it was like her thoughtful nature just shut down. She’d say everything that popped into her mind, and do everything on impulse. The truth was, she more scolding herself than Ty. She was the one wallowing in her stress in frustrations. Fist’s still clenched, her violet eyes looked directly into Ty’s hazel ones, her gaze unwavering.
