A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

Zoe leaned back as she sat in the library, staring up at the ceiling in silence. There was a old fan on the ceiling, spinning lazily above her, nearly entrancing the girl. Zoe let out a deep breath as she leaned forward, looking down to the book in front of her. She had to finish studying. Just because she was at one of the worst schools in the state didn't mean she had to let her grades slip. After all, this was just temporary, right? Right... Her being at this school was only temporary.
She rubbed her forehead as she stared down at the book, frowning silently. She knew all this. These were covered last year in her middle school classes. Why was this high school barely getting to them. Looking off to the side, she let out another frustrated breath. However, her eyes caught sight of something rather pleasant. The table had a chess board build into it. Looking at it, she cleared her books from the table, admiring the chess board painted onto the table. It was a shame that this school didn't have too many. Looking over to the librarian's desk, Zoe smiled weakly.
A few minutes later, she had a set up chess set in front of her. There wasn't anyone to really play with, but maybe she'd just play by herself. In her usual outfit, she looked like the type of nerd to do that. Sitting at the side of the black pieces, she reached out to move one of the pieces up.

Steven would be passing through the library buried in book of his own, when he heard the click of a chess pieces clicking down into place as the girl set up the board. Lowering his book Steven would slide into one of the seat opposite her. Raising a eyebrow as she move one of the black pieces. "White normally go first, but that's always seemed racist to me to be honest."
Steven own hand reached out and moved one of the white pieces instead and he would then lean back in his chair. His other hand would come up to his face and stroke his chin. "Thought I don't think I've ever seen these tables used in here."
Steven pointed out, putting his book closed down next to the chess board section of the table. Page 237 wouldn't be hard for him to remember, he looked up at the other player. "I hope I'm not intruding."
He finally said, he had been pulled to the game, he hadn't played in awhile, not really having met anyone else that did so. He gave him the best charming smile he could, hoping to befriend someone with obviously some good taste in games. (sorry i have no idea how to do spoiler tags.)

She blinked softly as the other student appeared. She glanced up, eyes wide through her thick glasses. Her face turned red as he spoke, correcting her about which color went first. Zoe would rub the back of her head, her cheeks turning red in embarrassment. “Er, sorry... I thought I'd be playing by myself...” she spoke softly, her eyes shifting to the side nervously.
Zoe shook her heard silently as he sat down and spoke. ”No... um I'm glad to have someone to play with!” she spoke, smiling weakly as she moved her own chess piece. The girl tilting her head before giving a soft polite small bow. ”My name is Zoe, er... I just transferred here.”

"Steven Rosett please call me Rosett." Steven would reply moving his next piece. The queen a bold move so early in the game.

She furrowed his brow as he moved the chess piece. ”It's nice to meet you,” she spoke softly. Why would he move his queen so early? Silently, she'd move her own piece.

"Nice to meet you too." Steven tipped his head and gave a wave almost like he was tipping a hat to her with his right hand, before leading into the motion of his next move. Very aggressive play would come from his moves. Recent changes in his life and anger bleeding through into his game.

Zoe was the textbook example of a defensive player. She moved her own pieces in response to his, trying her best to keep important pieces stalled and protected. While he was hyper aggressive, she was much calmer in her moves. ”It's really nice to have someone to play with... I thought no one would even know how to play chess at this school,” she spoke as she moved another pawn.

"I'm charmed to the core as well I assure you." Steven would place a steeple left hand over his chest and smile. "A cute girl in the library, and a game of chess. What is there not to be enthralled by." Steven eye would catch her, and in much subtler manner then he had done prior made his next move. A plan of attack made.

She smiled weakly as he spoke, shifting her gaze to the side as her cheeks turned a soft shade of red. ”Ah... er... you're too kind..” she muttered, lowering her eyes to the board as she moved her next piece. Her cheeks were still somewhat blush as she adjusted her glasses. ”You have a much more, um, advanced vocabulary than most of the students I've seen...”

Steven would see her blush, and be glad at the fact. There was a double meaning to his words and actions. He was flirting, not really having met any with similar pursuits, but it was also an distraction. "My gratitude to my mother for her stellar upbringing and multitudes of written works. It has brushed of on me." He slid his piece forward once more. "And too kind infers that there is something undeserving, kind is just honest in my mind."

Zoe kept her eyes on the chess board, avoiding eye contact as he moved is piece and spoke. Her cheeks remained red as he spoke. She had been here for a couple of days, but no one had been this nice to her yet. ”Ah... your mom sounds wonderful..” she replied softly, sliding her own piece forward. ”You're not from the states right? Mind if I ask where you're from?” she asked softly.

Steven chuckled at the mention of her mother being nice, but when she brought light to him not being from the states it brought stuff back to him. "Yes I moved here young, well up slightly north from here. I picked up my parents way with words growing up. I like it after a fashion." Steven said. "How about yourself, you just transferred here? Where from?" Steven would purposely avoid asking why though, he didn't want to risk conversation leading towards his own reason for being in such a bad school.

She smiled weakly as he spoke. ”Ah... I'm the first generation to be raised in the states as well.” Her words were soft as she watched him eat a pawn with his knight. She'd slide her pawn over silently, taking his knight for her own side of the board. ”Oh...” she looked down, frowning as he asked where she was from. It was embarrassing to tell others how far she had fallen. ”Saint Brown's Private Academy for Talented Youth,” she spoke softly as her eyes shifted off to the side. ”What about you?”

Private academy, talented youths. Steven looked her over and then the board, well it did explain a few things. Why she was here it did not in anyway shape or form. Steven still would not ask why as he answered. "Well England if the voice didn't make it obvious, however if you meant school well I was in one in Connecticut a while back but not for a while. I managed to avoid private schools." Steven said as he would slide a bishop to the opening his knight's sacrifice had made. "Check."

She nodded softly as he spoke. ”I did...” she spoke softly as she watched him, her eyes shifting between him and board. ”Why would you try to avoid private schools..?” she asked curiously. Managed seemed to hint that he had actively avoided enrollment. As he claimed check, she nodded and moved her king up once.
