A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

It was a pretty odd sight, seeing a man sitting on the ground surrounded by books. It would not have been that odd, if he had been in the library or a classroom. However sitting off to the side of the courtyard, some books lay closed. While other were open, various objects holding the pages down against the breeze. Steven face looked from page to page, occasionally flicking through them. It was a serious study session. Across purpose, and he muttered as he read.
Muttered a multitude of languages, some were said oddly. Not perfectly as he was still learning them. However he was translating and cross translating across languages. Even cutting out his native tongue in his mind, in order to really challenge him as he did so. Suddenly a shout caught his attention, and he looked up. Yet another fight on the school grounds. Shaking his head, Steven picked up his possessions, and closed books. Dropping them in to a couple of backpacks, and slinging one of each shoulder.
Standing Steven approached the violent and spoke. "Stop this nonsense." he spoke not in English however but in Chinese, the last of the language he had been looking at in his study session. "I mean cut it out already." He spoke again, this time in a English so that they could actually understand.

Ruby was roaming around the school with no particular ambition or goal. She truly had none, and classes meant nothing to her, so why not take a nice walk around the campus? Since her gear was confiscated during school hours, she couldn't exactly jump from rooftop to rooftop, now could she? She nearly tripped over a pile of books that were set on one side of the courtyard. What the...? She stopped, pausing to get a brief glance at the books... what were they doing out here? She looked around, curious where the owner of all of these books might be...? A little while away, she saw a young man with brown hair fighting off a few other students, and she stood there and stared. She wondered if she should jump into the fight and help him out, but then... he looked pretty strong, too...

The fight was pretty short and shift, one of those fighting had told him to piss off, and when he did not took a swing at him. It wasn't much, for Steven to grab the fist and spin the guy around twisting the arm up behind the guys back so that it hurt enough to give him control. The other fighter looked as if he would keep fighting, and then realised doing so would actually not be the smartest course of action from the stare Steven gave him. The second boy legged it, and Steven turned around and looked back over to were he had been sitting. The last pile of books still lay there, needing to be bagged up.
However there was also someone else there. A girl it seemed. Steven walked over pushing the guy a head of him, not letting go of his arm. "Stop fighting in school, or next time I'll get Macht the School Captain, I'm sure he will put you down a lot hard then I." Steven whispered in the guys ear, before finally pushing him away, so that he could run off as well.
Steven then looked at the girl. "Thank for looking over my books." Steven thanked her, he wasn't gone long anyway but it was polite. He moved over to the books, and crouch to the ground. Packing away the last of them. He wasn't going to just sit down and read again, with the girl there, that would be rude.

Ruby paused with her thoughts, pretty impressed that the guy fended off those students so easily... from what she'd seen, most people who read books really weren't very strong and good at fighting. But, that was apparently very untrue and just a stereotype... "Is that what I was doing...?" Ruby mumbled to herself, before deciding that she was somewhat looking over his books. She nodded and said, "Um, yes. You're welcome..." She'd kneel down and help hand him some of the books on the ground. "That's a lot of books for one guy," she thought aloud, reading the cover of one of the books before handing it over to him to put away. "You're learning other languages? Or just doing studies on them?"

Steven looked up a smiled at her as she kneeled down next to him in order to help him with the books. Raising an eyebrow when she pause a little to read the titles of one of the books, and maybe a little at noticing her eye patch. That was a hell of a coincidence, he had just mentioned the SC who happened to have such a thing as well. Before asking him about it. "Yeah this is quite few books at once even for me." Steven said with a self amused chuckle. "I'm learning as many language as I possibly can. I already have a good idea what I'm going to be doing when I graduate, and I figure the more the better." Steven replied.
His plan was a simple one really. Learn as manage languages as possible, then he could probably just walk into a career that require them. The best paid would be a translator but that wasn't what he had in mind. Steven didn't want graduating stopping him from help the school that he was in. It was likely that he would be a teacher in these halls one day.

Ruby smiled at his response. "Oh, really?" She asked, somewhat surprised by his reply. It didn't seem like too many people were interested in learning other languages. "It's a pretty useful skill to have," She said, standing to her feet after he'd packed away all of the books. She offered him a hand up, trying to be polite though she half wondered if she'd fall over from the weight he carried from all of the books. "Do you plan to travel a lot?" She asked, curious. "Or maybe you just have friends who speak different languages...? Or do you have another reason to be learning?" Ruby was a pretty curious girl, and she loved to ask questions about people and things. This man seemed like yet another nice person to her, and they seemed to share a common interest: Foreign Languages.

Steven took the hand when offered to stand, but used his legs to push himself up so he was standing. Taking most of the weight of the books as he did. He didn't want to take the girl by surprise by pull her to get to his feet. He didn't know how strong she was and it would be embarrassing if he puled her over when she was trying to be nice.
She seemed to be intrigued somewhat, because she fired off a few questions. He didn't mind too much, however he didn't plan to reveal the idea of being a teacher to any one yet. If that got around, it was possible that other student would want to hurt him. "I just love language really. I've always had a passion for them, not as good at them as other subject but it probably the one I've spent the most time on." Steven answer, hoisting the bags of book on his shoulder to get slightly more comfortable position. "Plus no one can insult you without you knowing if you know a lot of languages." He said as a joke, it was always amusing when someone tried that and was shocked when you spoke back in their own tongue. "How about you? Most people wouldn't have even commented on the books, language studies isn't the most popular subject around."

Ruby giggled a little at what he said and nodded. "That's true," she said. Not that she ever was in a situation where someone was speaking badly of her in another language, but she could understand how awkward that might be... "And, well... I know quite a few languages myself," she said. "English isn't my first language--so I might have a French or British accent." She gave a firm nod. "I'm still trying to get the American accent down, but I think I'm doing pretty good with it," she said. If she did have any kind of accent at all, it was somewhat hard to detect due to her ability to adapt so easily. She may have only been in America for a few weeks, but she'd spent a few years in England, so it was more likely that she had an English accent than a French one...

Steven smiled when she mentioned knowing a few language herself, and explained that English wasn't her first language. Steven was however, but when she brought up accent Steven listened harder for hers. There was a slight touch of home in her voice, but the Britishness of her accent wasn't much compared to his own. "I never lost mine, been here years but can seem to shift the thing." Steven replied, maybe she hadn't noticed it at first.
"Maybe one day I'll go visit and see if I can fit in for a laugh." Steven said, by now it was clear he was British himself. "So were are you from then? If English isn't your first language Imean?" he asked curious himself now.

Ruby grinned at what he said and gave a small nod. "Well, I was born in France, and I spent a lot of my time there," she said. "But I uh... I was wanting to get out of the country anyways, so I spent a few years in England and, well, one thing lead to another, and here I am! America's a pretty interesting place," she said, crossing her arms. "How long have you been living here? Do you like this place?"

France, such a famous place. Sadly one of the language he was still currently learning however so he couldn't turn around and show off. A shame. "I moved away from England when I was young, been here for about 9 years or something like that. I can barely remember sometimes. If it wasn't for my mother teaching me to speak and read, well I probably would have learned to speak like an american by now." Steven replied.
It was probably due to the fact that until around a year ago he still lived at home and his accent was reinforced by his family. Now however maybe it would fade over time. He didn't like that idea though, mostly because he liked his accent. It made him think of his mother. Well he could have done without the reminder of his father too but you can't have everything as they say.
At this point Steven realised that they had been speaking for a little bit and neither of them hadn't given a name. Lifting a hand up he face palmed and the offer out a hand for a hand shake. "So rude of me. I'm Rosett a pleasure to meet you hun." He introduced himself.

Nine years? "That's a long time," Ruby said, somewhat shocked. "I'm surprised you managed to keep your accent for so long. Hardly seems like only a few years," she added. But then, if he had to leave from his home to America at such a young age, it was probably one of the few memories of home that he could cling to. That was something Ruby could truly relate to and understand. She knew what it was like to grasp onto anything--if only for the sake of a decent memory, even if it was surrounded by terrors. That one light in the darkness was worth it, and you'd do anything, even the smallest of things, just to keep that memory safe and sound. Of course, it wasn't like Ruby was fond of her home in France. Rather, she hated it, she couldn't stand France and that's why she had planned to run away in the first place... But still, it was because of the ones she held close to her heart that she was able to get through it and, despite how horrible her lifestyle had been, she still managed to have good memories. Ruby would shake Steven's hand and say, "The pleasure is all mine, good sir. You can call me Ruby..." She grinned and said, "In French, you'd say, 'Je m'appelle Rubis.' Oui?" She knew he had to at least know what the last word was.

Steven shook the hand when Ruby took his hand, before gently removing his hand and grinning. He wasn't completely unknown when it came to French. He knew a little, not much and defiantly not enough to get by. He stood their for a couple seconds as if thinking in order to find the right words. "I know, Mademoiselle Rubis." he said in French, it wasn't much but he managed. she may not have taught her what she was expecting to. However he now knew how to say Ruby in French. That wasn't a word that really came up often, so he had never heard it before. He wondered though if translating the name was a direct translation.
"Maybe some time you would be willing to help me actually learn some of the more difficult nuances of French?" He asked, it was something that he couldn't get from books. In fact it was something he had been really struggling with in Chinese, some languages made use of different so subtle that they could not be written down in a way to convey the intent.

Ruby would grin and after their hand shake she'd put her hands in her pockets. "Not bad, not bad," she praised, impressed that he knew more in French than she thought. Then again, he was learning other languages, so it was possible he already had learned French... But then he went on to ask her if she could perhaps teach him some French, and she was a little surprised but then nodded with a grin. "Sure! I'd be happy to," she said. "You haven't happened to have learned Japanese yet, have you? I'm not familiar with the Asian languages, and I'd like to learn Japanese, so... if you don't know, that's fine, I could probably find a book on it, but... if you do know some Japanese I'd like you to teach it to me in exchange for me helping you with French."

I'll just sit on this bench and enjoy a book myself. Then again, he does the sequel to "Swimming Through Japan 7-8", in there... That book in fact, is the sequel to the 5-6 Japanese level. If I can take it without being spotted... Meh, I'll just wait and see the action first.
