Welcome delinquents to PHS #552. A few reminders, no rough housing, no running in the hallways, no cheating, and no talking back to your teachers. Beyond that, enjoy yourselves. After all these are the years you’ll look back on, and remember, you mother fuckers peaked too early.

A brand new group is on the making, The Apostles, a Pillar-like group led by none other than our brand new headmaster, Gregoire Girard. A student body that would lead students and enforce the law on this little school of ours. Little is still known about this student body, but who knows? It might just be what the school needs.

A lunch box is seen last Friday, around 12:37:08pm with an encouraging note packed inside. This appalling display that utterly lacked manliness has left many students stunned and outrage, as some decided, after a long while, to speak out against it.

[OoC: Soft limit of six participants. This is an open event, and the first of a series of mini-events that will be running over the next few days. There is no limit to the amount of events a single participant may join. However, players may only join on a single character. When joining this event, consider that it will end the same day it has begun, and post with that in mind. If they are taking too long, players will be skipped so that the story may progress.] F E A R - The Phantom A C T O N E It was a cold, overcast afternoon at PHS #552. The sky wept overhead, covering the school grounds in a torrent of its own tears. As the clouds continued to roll in, a cacophony of thunderclaps followed in its wake. It looked as though it was an average storm, at least initially. However, within the clouds, a thick black mist could be seen sweeping across the sky. All who bore witness would feel a strange... energy, being pulled from their bodies. Not only could they feel it, they would be able to see this energy being pooled toward the sky, forming a whirlpool of Qi energy within the sky.
This Qi energy would coagulate, forming a single being which floated midair. It hovered above the school, wearing the blanket of black mist as a shroud to cover itself as it began its descent. All of the debris within the courtyard would begin to hover anywhere from two to four feet off of the ground. As the strange being finally landed, it would, at the flick of its wrist, send the debris flying outward, pelting the people, walls, and windows, of the school viciously. With a bestial roar, it began to exude the powerful FEAR toxin, seemingly from its own lungs, which began to spread around the campus like a plague.

Steven sitting in the school library would actually enjoy the thunder and rain in the background outside, as he sat in a comfy chair reading as normal. However as he continued to do so, he felt like the light was growing dimmer, the light in the room were still on, so Steven turned and looked out of the window. Seeing the clouds coming down and the figure descend. Steven would recognise the toxic gas that came from his pours.
Slamming the book down beside him, Steven would back away from the window as quickly as he could. Hoping that the gas would have to travel through one of the open ways to the library rather then being able to pass through walls. With a curse to himself, Steven would take off running. A couple of the normal tricks would be useful in his pockets, but Steven would aim to get to his locker as quickly as he could.

She felt it drumming into her bones; it was the premonition of devastation that slammed into her gut before her eyes saw anything. It was supposed to be a fairly normal day for Ira--she would be blithely walking down the streets with her phone firmly held in her hands, and her half-lidded, sleep-deprived eyes scanning the people.
They were in much too hurry to her; their murmurs were incoherent. However, a sickening feeling swept into her gut, and caused her to pause for a few seconds, seeking the source of the soul-decaying fear that cast chills throughout her body.
Within seconds, Ira was on her knees. She fell onto the cold floor of the streets, and all she could do was to murmur a word dazedly, before her world went black momentarily.
"Fear."

As if PHS #552 couldn't get any worse.
Faye struggled with her bag all day as it'd broken long ago - during the early morning to be specific. Holding her supplies wouldn't work, she had far too many to carry around in her thin arms. Patching the hole where a tear broke out wasn't going to work either. Her tools were left in the shabby dorm on campus she called home. She went through complete annoyance all day. Suffering either from classes that failed to teach her anything new or petty things that bothered her finicky self. Faye's obviously over-sensitive about a lot to about everyone she knows; today being one of those days where her personality became over-exaggerated.
At the end of the day the bag finally tore in two. The one she'd used since Middle School, full of memories and much, much more personal business that couldn't be restored. With a long, tired sigh, she bent over to grab the sack in hopes that she could salvage it once reaching her dorm though she never got the chance to pick the item up. A chilling shiver of unrecognizable feeling shot down her spine, It was... rather unpleasant. Faye shook the urge to run away and hide under blankets away, that is, until she noticed her items began floating. With a squeal she fell to the ground, clutching arms around her own form as if giving herself a hug.
A strong force slammed her body to the ground. She lay on her back in complete and utter shock. Surprise enveloped itself around her. With an open mouth she blinked a few times to regain composure before rubbing a suddenly sick stomach. Instantly pursing her thin lips together, Faye shot up onto her feet, azure eyes scanning the surroundings. She'd been lucky. Very lucky. Her frail body remain unharmed much unlike most around her.
What just happened?

Cedric was standing on the roof at the time as he was prone to doing during school hours when this strange phenomenon happened. Luckily he was above the toxins that where being realeased so for now he would most likely be safe, but all the same Cedric prepared for danger, obviously shit was going down.

Paige would be in the hallway as this happened seeing as she didn't know about fear at all or the gas so she would not care at all. With a small sigh she would walk into the library rather lazily before looking at a couple random books to see if she wanted to check anything out at all not noticing any other students in here.

((Fuck yo soft cap son!))
Felix was heading to his locker on the second floor to drop off some of his books. As he walked up the stairs, just reaching the last step; his head turned to the side glancing at the students gawking outside the windows. He raised a puzzled eyebrow, but said nothing, assuming it to be another fight in the courtyard as he headed off to his locker.
Just as he managed to stuff his supplies quite messily into his cramped locker space, he turned towards the kids again. More had shown up to stare out the window. Felix was getting slightly nervous, 'The hell are they staring at so hard?' he would wonder. Shoving past the crowds of kids he watched in shock as a mass of-- something was being channeled into a storm outside.
Before he could say or do anything though he saw the figure, slowly descending from the sky. The scene brought chills up his spine. And before he could do or say anything the windows violently exploded inwards knocking Felix on his ass. "What the fuck just happened?"

"What the fuck..."
Caelum was indoors, not chilling at his usual spot at the fountain due to the rain. He was waiting for a ride home when he saw the strange phenomenon happening outside. As the debris flew towards the window, Caelum covered his face with his arms as he flew back, the debris flying through the window as a hail of rocks and glass pelted him. He fall back on the floor, scurrying up to his feet as he backed away slowly.
The strange gas began to creep into the area, and Caelum was reminded of the news broadcast the day he made it into the city. The day he saw Macht and Jenny in the hospital, and the city in ruin. The toxic black mist. He didn't know what it did, but he was afraid of it. Whatever that monster was outside, it matched the reports of the monsters that appeared during that day.
"I didn't believe that shit when I read about it, but this... this is too extreme..."

I T B E G I N S The black mist would swirl violently, affecting everyone outdoors. Those within its grasp would begin to see their worst fears come to life before them as pure hallucinations, forms taken on by the mist itself. The Phantom would then begin to read the vital signs of all he could see.
IRA: From scanning her, the Phantom would see her mental capabilities far exceeded that of any it'd ever seen before. Comparative to her physical capabilities, her ratio was 1:20. Ira was TAGGED.
FAYE: Much like Ira, she was physically weak but mentally capable. However, with a smaller ratio, she was AVOIDED.
CEDRIC: Physically capable but mentally weak, though with an unimpressive ratio, he was AVOIDED.
FELIX: Frail, but swift. Felix's ratio of speed to anything else was staggering, and thus he was TAGGED.
CAELUM: Strong and durable, yet lacking in anything else. His ratio wasn't overly impressive, though he was TAGGED for comparison.
The Phantom began to walk toward Ira, shooting out shrapnel in every other direction. If he reached her, he would pick her up by the neck.

Ira gasped out in shock and futilely tried to scramble to her feet. Her teeth gnashed immediately upon her lips, causing them to bleed. Her eyes were wild. Her leg scrapped abrasively against the rough ground, as she tried to stand up again, before screaming out in pure, unadulterated ... fear.
The first thing she saw was yellow. Unbearably cheerful yellow, with the beast fixated it's eyes hungrily on her. It was ready to devour her being she thought as she whimpered desperately. She was terrified, and paralyzed by the confinements of her fear that no one should've ever, ever possess a knowledge of. Her round eyes were on the beast, as it opened it's mouth, and said a very word that froze her body, while grabbing her mind, soul and heart with panic triumphantly.
"Quack."

If I were God, just for a day I would be guilty of letting the whole world slip away.

The screams could be heard all around him, overpowering the sound of the heavy rainfall just outside. The redhead normally didn't let other people's squabbles affect him, he just found them to be a nuisance, but with that... thing... outside... he had no idea what could possibly be going on. If the window wasn't in the way, he might have been perforated, so who knew what happened to anyone who happened to be outside?
The mist was congregating outside, getting thicker. All he knew right now was to make sure to avoid it, don't inhale any of it. To be safe, he would cover his mouth with his hand and make his way down the hall. His first thought was to escape somehow, but he had a feeling that mist trapped everyone inside this school. Going outside would be an easy suicide, and he wanted to avoid getting caught up in this. Another thought was to hide, just let this all blow over... but then he remembered the state Macht was in when he finally saw him again.
"Damn it... what would Macht do in this situation? I don't have his crazy muscles..."
Caelum would make his way to the science area of the school first, the first order of business would be to find a mask to cover his mouth and nose from the off-chance that the mist found its way into the building. From there, he would hopefully have some time to think of a plan.

Reaching his locker steven would put everything into getting ready as fast as he could. He knew who every was out side was connected with someone he was after and he was not about to let the man get away due to being exposed to the mist. Having come across it before Steven preparation would be to minimise its effect. Sleeves of his jacket would be cable tied down over his leather gloves, while the same was done to his pant's leg to his socks. His jacket would be done up to minimise any exposure of skin. Next was a pair of swimming goggles, to protect his eyes, and headset that had been design for use against The Banshee just in case she made another appearance.
Steven would then speed through the school to the main door which would lead out until the courtyard, taking a deep breath of clean air inside before he risked kicking the doors open in a over the top fashion and taking in the scene. Steven would locate where the man was, and then he would rip the door of the school off its hinges and hurl it at the man as hard as he could.

Felix got back up, scrambling back to his feet. The storm outside raging just as hard as the thoughts whirling in his head. What the hell had he just seen?
He pressed himself against the window, cutting himself on the remaining shards of glass, but he didn't even notice as his blood dripped over the sill. His entire focus was on the specter down below. The one that had quite literally fallen from the sky, and it was now heading towards-- "Ira." His foot was already over the edge of the window before he could think, and he would have immediately jumped the remaining stories if he didn't notice what else was going on.
All on the ground, people were freaking out, a black mist swirling all around them. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the petrified people was directly related with the mist. He didn't know what to do, if he went down there would he end up like them? There was no time to wonder though as the phantom got ever closer to his fellow gang member. "FUCK IT!", he shouted leaping from the window, rolling as he landed. He would make a sprint for Ira and the phantom, using the collar of his jacket to at least temporarily prevent the effects of the mist long enough for him to do some good.

Paige would sigh a little bit before leaving the library still not know what was going on. She would head to the roof to get a breath of fresh air before her next class. once on the roof she would take a nice deep breath of the air not knowing the effects of it at all.

Cedric stood on the roof almost paralyzed, unlike others there wasn't any hallucination or image that brought around this dread, it was just cold simple cowardice that took a hold of his mind. Cedric Was deeply unsettled, this was the first time he had ever felt fear, the emotion was unsettling and he had no coping mechanism so for a few moments he was frozen in place only watching as whatever that thing was as it scattered shrapnel around. After a few moments however he fear started to become mixed with anger and he blindly walked to the side of the fence and ripped open the fence that surrounded the roof and jumped off landing on the ground with a somewhat shitty tuck and roll that left him a little scuffed but otherwise uninjured. From there he would stand and stare at the thing that was assaulting Ira unable to move for a few more seconds.
