Ira, Felix, Steven, Cedric: The Phantom would notice the door being hurled its way, timed perfectly with Felix's approach. It turned so that the door would strike its back, causing its form to explode into a cloud of black mist that would immediately send Felix and Cedric into a realm of hallucinations, where the Phantom he initially approached would take on the form of the one who meant the most to him. Only, (s)he was dead.
With its hand firmly around Ira's throat, the being would place her to the ground, forming a wrap of FEAR toxin around her body that would, should she not fight it, completely restrain her. As it did so, its body would take on its initial shape. It was taking no other hostile action for the moment, however, instead opting to focus on restraining its primary target.
Caelum: Caelum found what he was looking for! He also had plenty of time.
Paige: Paige inhaled a large dose of FEAR toxin! Immediately, she would begin to hallucinate. The rainfall would be replaced with blood, and she would see all of her greatest fears coming to life.

Faye was already so afraid her heart wouldn't cease its now frantic beat. Though when she reached up to feel her face, as if it wouldn't be there, a sigh escaped her lips when the palms of her trembling hands met the familiar soft skin. Now her mind picked up the pace, sending signals to her legs that would soon kick start into action.
Run.
Not so swiftly, Faye stumbled forward with a tattered bag clutched tightly to her chest. 'To my dorm... It's not so far...' She mentally told herself as a weak form of assurance that everything would be alright. Pumping thin legs that were oddly stronger than the rest of her body, she headed straight across the courtyard with one hand lifted to protect her mouth from the mist making its way into the air. She hardly noticed her surroundings at this point.
(was asleep so couldn't post last round)

The phantoms form in front of him exploded into more of the gas, before he could even react he had inhaled a large amount of it. Coughing, he quickly raised his head at where the phantom had been originally, but only seeing a body on the floor.
His heart filled with dread, the figure on the floor was unmistakably familiar. 'This isn't happening right now.', he fiercely tried to deny what was going on, his mind already deeply affected by the Fear gas. Dropping to his knees he crawled to the figure, the closer he got, the more his fear came to life. "M-Mom.", in front of him was the lifeless form of his mother, her normally fair and smooth complexion was instead weathered with wrinkles and the undeniable quality of death.
But despite that she was still recognizable. His vision went blurry, he blinked away the tears before they flowed uncontrollably down his face. Felix grabbed the illusion of his mom, cradling her head in his arms as they shook uncontrollably. He couldn't lose her too. "Mom c-c-come on! Get up! This isn't funny!" For a moment she seemed to be coming back, her body seemed to shiver, his face lit up, looking hopeful. But that thought immediately was crushed when he realized that his whole body was shaking, and it wasn't her moving, it was him.
He bit his lip hard, strange, choked animal noises fought to escape his clamped mouth. He tried his best to fight it, the surge of emotion. But it was too late. His lip bled from when he had bit it, a distinct metallic taste found its way into his mouth as he wailed at the top of his lungs. An unintelligible wail that communicated only one idea. Pain.
He screamed until his throat felt ragged and his lungs felt like they would burst. Then he would take another fierce breath shouting again, just barely managing to string along a coherent sentence through his sheer volume and stuttering. "I-I-I-I . . . NGGHH!! IT'S NOT FAIR! I CAN'T LOSE YOU TOO! You CA-CAN'T LEAVE ME HERE ALONE!" He felt similar to the day his dad had died, like an exposed raw nerve. And now he was alone.

Cedric could only stand there in cold shock as he stared down at the mangled corpse of his sister. Cedric walked slowly over to her body and gently reached down to check for a pulse despite the disfigured state of the corpse, and of course he would find nothing, so for a couple moments he just kneeled there stunned unable to move or think. However after a short while he felt rage unlike anything he had ever experienced before, pure murderous rage, in that moment he became entirely consumed by nothing but revenge "I swear sis when I find who did this I will literally rip their limbs apart and hang their corpses in time square"

Letting loose a pseudo form of a choke and a scream, Ira raised her hand and plunged it viciously through the beast, determined to maim, hunt and kill. Her body was engulfed with rage, and everything was coming to her in flashes.
Felix fell. Flash. Cedric screamed. Flash.
Flash.
Lifting her hand, she let out a strangled laugh as she pointed her finger at the man, while odd silver mist snaked out of her index finger. The mist disfigured itself and switched into a roaring chimera, it's snake tail wrapping itself around that goddamn thing.
"Not today, duckie." She spat.
---
Ira can summon a pair of shape-shifting creatures that may take on any form they wish. However, the creatures cannot physically attack anyone, nor be attacked. They are essentially illusions.

IRA: The Chimera illusion would cause the Phantom to rear back from surprise, stalling the growth of the cage and granting Ira the time she would need to roll out of the way of what was coming! With a vicious downward swing, the Phantom launched a hammer fist at the chimera, easily phasing through it as it was an illusion. As its fists struck the ground, it would shatter completely, causing debris to fly in every direction!
EVERYONE ELSE: They're still affected by the mist. Due to taking no action against the Phantom, their condition is neither worse, nor better.

This thing. This monster. It was attacking an innocent and Faye could help! Why was she running away from a problem she needed to face? She stopped in her tracks, lifted her head, and felt a surge of adrenaline shoot through her entire body. Nothing annoyed her more than bullies. Bad people.
You'll never make it. Don't be stupid, Faye. Why don't you come over here with me instead?
That voice... that sweet melodic sound tempted her greatly... "Why're you here?" Faye asked with raised brows, trying with all of the might within her willowy body to keep from heading towards the illusion being cast due to the mysterious black mist. Her mind was strong, very strong. But heart just as weak. It shattered all over again when Lindsey disappeared, warped into nothing. "...She left... again..." Faye wiped potential tears away with the rough sleeve of her shirt, anger taking over sadness. She'd been taunted by Lindsey for too long. She wouldn't take it here, not at school. Not by the likes of another being.
"Hey! Leave her alone!" Faye called out, tripping over her feet multiple times as she ran towards the female whom she had yet to met and the monster wreaking havoc. Her tone was obviously broken and even more than that - it was the sound of fear. Immense fear that Faye was trying her absolute hardest to break through. A battle went on with her mind, body and heart. With her soul. Illusions of people from the past taunting her surrounded the young woman who shook her head and cried out as she ran. What would she do upon reaching her destination? She had no idea. Faye just wanted to do...
Something. Anything to rid her mind of the torture it was going through. Anything that would prove she was kind, and innocent, and didn't deserve this awful life.
However, before she could get anywhere at all, sharp pieces of debris flew towards her. Out of instinct she shut her eyes tight and covered her face while pursing thin lips together once more. Her body shrunk as it tightened together to minimize the damage done to sensitive flesh and frail bones. "Y-You... this can't be... Stop it!" She screamed, quite honestly to no one in particular. Those voices rung in her head, a crowd surrounding her before disappearing as Lindsey had. Their words stuck with her, they always would. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. That's all anyone ever thought or said.
"I'm not a bad person! You are!" There was nothing she could do. Absolutely nothing. But Faye would continue to try and rid of these hurtful illusions. Try to destroy this monster who had no right to be harming innocent lives.
She was so close.

Steven watched in shock as the door smashing into the man practically exploded into mist and started to effect other who were joining the fray, and the phantom carried on going for Ira. With her reacting by summoning that strange shape shifting mist she had used on him once. Seeing the man attack the thing she made, Steven would charge towards him.
His chest would burn from lack of air and his muscles ache from needing to breath, but he still would not risk it. Pulling up all the rage, of one of these fear men, going after a women in his sight again. 'Never again.' he roared in his head. As the phantom fist slammed down, showering debris in all direction Steven would cut a large chunk out of the air flying at him, with the side of his hand, leaping up bring the right hand back across to try and deliver a downward strike with his hand into the phantom left neck and shoulder area as he rose from his attack. His hand would be a blaze, and surrounded with ice turning to steam that would push the fear gas away from his hand and burn it away a little, not much but the scalding blow would hopefully do more then just a little damage.

Felix let his mom down, his head swirling. How did he get here anyway? No- the question was, 'why', was he here? He struggled to remember for a moment, his grief taking priority in his mind. And then it came back to him in short snippets. "The phantom.", he clenched and unclenched his fists as he got up off his knees.
Felix felt a strange void somewhere in the center of his being. Something important had been taken from him, and he had nothing to replace it. Or did he? Felix felt the rage, his coil itself in his core, winding itself up tightly; once something he had been afraid of and avoided, he now embraced readily. He could feel it growing steadily, like a fire, it wouldn't be long before it consumed him completely. Felix couldn't wait.
Felix could feel his blood boiling, but at the same time he felt frigid. Taking a deep breath of fear gas, he breathed out, a cold mist from his maw. "If you don't regret fucking with me, you will soon.", he spoke calmly, his tears from before still flowing freely. He would rush the phantom, a shard of debris, flying past his face scraping his cheek, leaving a thin red line that began to bleed slowly. Felix wouldn't stop rushing, attacking only moments after Steven. He'd twist his body violently as he thrust himself at the monster, his left hand swinging in a wide devastating haymaker aimed for the fuckers face. OOC (Totally didn't edit, to add these in.)

After a few moments of impudent wrath Cedric got hit hit with a small piece of debris, and when he turned to look he saw the Phantom and instantly he assumed that it was responsible for his sisters perceived death. So silently he started walking towards the Phantom waiting for it to take another action before attacking, he may have been angry but acting stupid wasn't going top bring his sister back.

If I were God, just for a day I would be guilty of letting the whole world slip away.

"Alright... first thing's first."
Caelum placed a mask over his face, keeping out any toxic substances that could potentially affect him... at least, he hoped it was entirely airborne. Pacing around the room, he would grab various chemicals and cloths,
"I have... no idea what I'm doing."
He spoke to himself as he filled any chemicals that said flammable into any beakers and the like in the room. Stopping them with the cloths, he would create what he hoped was the equivalent to molotov cocktails, school campus friendly edition.
"Why... why can't I just go to sleep? Why can't Macht be here to handle this?"
He couldn't let himself be a disappointment to the Starke name again. If Macht wasn't here, Caelum had to try and do something to protect Macht's school, right? He wanted to be wrong.
Caelum rushed to the window from before, making sure his mask was on tightly as he observed the creature from before. Holding a beaker in his hand, he turned it upside down to allow the chemicals to start to seep through as he pulled out his lighter with his other hand.
People were engaging this thing? Seriously? He couldn't believe anyone was that brave, but it's not like what he was doing wasn't any less reckless. Setting the cloth aflame, he would wait for a clear shot at the creature... and he would toss the bottle as hard as he could with the intention of setting the beast aflame. If he missed or his throw was otherwise quelled, he would grab another beaker from his bag and repeat the process, intent on trying to stop this thing.

Rolling backwards, Ira let out a whimper when a piece of rubble penetrated her elbow. She felt a trickle of blood travel down to her wrist, leaving a crimson streak on her hand.
Chewing on her lip, she yanked herself back once more. Her hands lifted up, and she pointed her index finger at the phantom. Her eyes flashed angrily, and her infinite ring glowed temporarily. Lunging forward in a tackle, she hugged the Phantom determinedly and slammed her ring against his chest, while letting out an insane bout of laughter.
She couldn't stop laughing.
As her fit continues, she laughed and laughed as her world glowed and beckoned her into blindness, before she closed her eyes. She finally clamped her mouth shut, and let go of the Phantom, falling to the ground reticently.

[OoC: Many apologies for the delay.] Steven Rosett would strike only moments before Felix Booker, and in the split seconds during this window, Steven was MARKED for his previous encounters with the Hand. His hand would rip through the Phantom's neck with ease, the flame keeping the mist at bay for a short time. Combined with Felix's haymaker and Ira Defaire's ring strike, the Phantom's torso would explode outward violently with devastating force, enough to knock all of them back over ten feet and send incredible pain wracking through their bodies. This mist would continue to follow them, and it would solidify just as they were about to hit the ground, forming tendrils to complete its following action. Ira Defaire: Afflicted with FEAR hallucinations. Tendril is wrapping around all of Ira's limbs to restrict her movement. If successful, it will pull her into the Phantom's central mass and "absorb" her into itself, rendering her unconscious. Felix Booker: FEAR hallucinations intensified. Tendril wrapping around Felix's legs to slam him into the ground with vicious force. If successful, it will pull him into the Phantom's central mass to "absorb" him into itself, rendering him unconscious. Steven Rosett: Afflicted with FEAR hallucinations. Tendrils wrapping around each of Steven's individual limbs with the intent to dismember him. Caelum Magnus-Stärke, Cedric Kenelm, and Faye Cooper ignored for the round. Caelum would find no opportune moment to throw his molotovs without harming his allies! If he did, regardless, the Phantom's body would disintegrate and reform in rapid succession, though its movements would not halt.

Letting out a terrified scream, Ira's hand reached out for Felix as she felt tendrils wrapping around her waist and dragging her against her will. Within seconds, the tendrils engulfed her body and diffused her sight furiously.
The Phanton didn't tolerate much dissent--despite her vigorous struggle, she wasn't about to break loose from the Phantom. She shuddered once more, and felt herself choking as the hand she had reached out to Felix finally faltered on the floor.
Finally, her eyes closed and her world went black.
